ELAINE 🏠💗
Hi Elaine!! Thank you so much!! You make so many socks, you need to keep lots of sock yarn in stash!!😄
You have done a great job in using your stash! You might be able to use 100 skeins in 2024. That would be incredible!
Thank you Joanne!! 100 skeins would be amazing!!
Wow, Carla you are doing great!! Keep up the amazing job!🎉
Thank you Brenda!!😊
Great progress Carla ❤🎉
Thank you Candee!!😊
46! That’s really great progress, Carla! 🙌
You are doing an awesome job using your stash! I am also knitting from my stash and very carefully deciding on any future yarn purchases. It makes me feel so good to use what I have and not spend any money!
Hi Susan!! Thank you so much! It does feel good to use yarns from stash and not spend money!! Good for you!!😊
You are doing great on stash busting. WOWZER on 46 skeins out!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Jennifer!! Thank you so much!! I'm excited to see what the end of year total will be!😊
A couple times a year I do a dishcloth a day. I use the grandmas favorite when I do that and it goes quickly. Helps with the cotton stash 💕. Congratulations on all your hard work. I love all the videos
Hi Barbara!! Thank you for sharing about your dishcloth knitting!! 😊
holy cow, carla, you’re really doing it - that’s a ton of projects and yarn out! the “100th podiversary” yarn is such a sweet thing. i wonder - what’s been your favorite project so far in 2024? and have you used a real favorite yarn from your stash? but i guess anyone’s favorite yarn is simply any yarn that they have😄!
Hi Jane!! Ooh such a good question! I went back to look at my completed projects for 2024 so far. That's hard to say - but I am very happy with my Cozy Memories blanket. And for favorite yarns - I was happy to use several pink yarns this summer! Do you have a favorite project that you've knit this year?
@@carlaknitspodcast3392 yes, your blanket is so pretty! hmmm…i think my scrappy socks. they’re not beautiful, nor do they have anything more than stockinette, but i finally learned how to join different colors and to knit in the ends as i go, which, for some dumb reason, took me 3 years (!) to do. i always ended up with a lumpy, hole-filled fabric. but now they’re not too bad. not as good as yours look😉, but i’m happy with them :)
@@janeshipley6993 I’m so glad you were able to make scrappy socks that you’re happy with!! Good for you for conquering weaving in those ends!!😊
Wonderful job with your stash this year! I have dropped the ball this year with some major life happenings this year so I've decided to not worry about it. I'm pretty sure next year I will once again focus on my stash.
Thank you so much!! I understand about life getting crazy and wanting to buy yarn!! There's always time to refocus and try again! I have had some yarn come in to my stash this month!🤫😃
nearly 50 out already - that's great progress!
Thank you so much!!😊
❤❤❤
😊
Congratulations on 46 skeins out! You are doing great! Those cottons yarns are going to disappear as you work on all of your dishcloths. Those will be nice gifts for the holidays too! (Merry Make along) 😉🧶💪🏽
Hi Beth!! Thank you so much!! I've been working on dishcloths the past couple of days!! 😃
@@carlaknitspodcast3392 that will make you feel good!
Carla, you are making such great headway on your make nine as well as your stash. As of the end of June I have not brought any new yarn into my stash, but since my fo's aren't happening very quickly, I can't say that my skeins out are very impressive😂 I am enjoying and shopping my stash which I feel is pretty cool since I don't think that I have many skeins that make me think, "what was I thinking" when I shop it!
Hi Amy!! Thank you!! And good for you for not bringing any new yarn into stash - that's an accomplishment!! It is really fun to shop your stash!! 😊
You’re doing Awesome🎉 I’m going to keep cheering you on through the year! I have been doing really good with not buying yarn this year but there’s other stuff (crafts and cute stuff) that I will spend on, so I’m trying to set a monthly budget and stick to it - so far it’s going okay, I could do better. Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July holiday fireworks 🎇 🎆 🎇
Hi Lisa!! Thank you for cheering me on!! And good for you for not buying yarn this year!! We had a great 4th of July - I hope you did too!!😃
You are doing a great job, using such a lot of yarn. I am measuring yarn out in grammes and want to start a knitting journal, to collate all my scrappy bits of paper with details on them. I was interested in your loose leaf binder method and might well try that rather than using a designated notebook.
