Valiant effort, and you found some fish, sadly it's been very quite in this area.. But have noticed the first of the thornbacks have started to arrive..so if weather holds hopefully numbers will increase... Well done and as always thank you.
Love the North Essex and Suffolk coastline and you're videos make me realize how lucky i am to live near the coast. I feel like a little a kid in a sweet shop sometimes not sure where to go as a lot of places are 30 minutes from my door in Ipswich.
Thanks for watching and the info - yes I've fished there a few times in the past; but have just caught the usual suspects - small bass in summer and whiting in winter. Will have another go sometime.
It is sad how the fishing has gone so downhill in this are in the early sixties you could fill a bin bag with whiting and also the occasional large cod don't suppose this will ever return , love your enthusiasm and dedication and just glad not to be out there blanking in the freezing cold!!
Enjoying your channel, just wondering why you seldom fish after dark, your returns would probably increase especially with your favourite fish the sole?
Thanks John. Yes - I now much prefer to fish in daylight, despite it being better at night. I used to fish a lot at night, but now find it more trouble and haven't got round to sorting out filming at night.
Hi Mick. Never get fed up saying this...another great video. First session could have been a bit busier but plenty to occupy your mind during the second session. Regarding filming, on average how many hours do you film for each video and, again on average, how long does it take you to edit your videos? Very brave to locate you camera in the sea looking shoreward. I'd be too scared that a rogue wave would knock the camera off balance and that it would end up in the drink and ruined! Best wishes. Ken
Many thanks Ken 👍. I tend to get about an hour's footage each session - its all start / stop depending on how the session goes and whether the tech. is working properly or not. Roughly it takes half a day to edit one video and about the same for voice-overs; but it does vary depending on what the footage is like (takes ages to process it), the number of sessions included and what mood the tech. and I'm in at the time! I have destroyed a couple of cameras filming!
@@rodsangleuk6283 Crikey! You'd never think that filming was "all start / stop"...the editing is superb and finished videos are always so smooth. Clearly a lot of hard work goes into making your videos and, like many others before me have said, I am very grateful to you for what you do. Cheers. Ken
New to your channel and subscribed, love your easy going manner and you seem to be an old school fisherman like myself, keep up the good work

Thanks Ken - it can be all consuming, just like the fishing itself - however its good to have hobbies and I don't watch TV anymore!
@@rodsangleuk6283 Yeh, I'm not a great TV fan these days either!
