I know nothing of working in a mine or quarry and operating this equipment. But what I see is an operator who is careful, doesn't drive over any rocks, and doesn't spill hardly anything, although the bucket isn't full (maybe that's being extra careful). I think I'd rather have a careful operator than one who is rushing because this equipment ain't cheap. There's probably some science that could describe the exact position the truck should be in relative to the loader and whatnot, but who cares.
Im a professional high production loader operator. Back blade material off the ridges so you always have lots of product and park the dump on a 45 degree angle to the Cat. Both increase productivity, and faster cycles.
"Professional High Production Loader Operater".......and how's that done with a blade🤔...I hope your not talking bout running up to the shot and dragging material down with the back of the bucket, wouldn't that mean running up on the rocks resulting in cut tires and leading to eventual flats? But what do I know, other than I've never loaded a rigid frame truck with a 992G with a blade before...🤣
@@jasonskidmore6469 Hi, no I don't climb rock banks lol just angle the teeth virticly and pull it to the floor. I've never ran one of these either. I have run 980 Cat Big Volvos, jds and a few others in about 30 open pits.
He's a good loader operator but he would get Fuller buckets if he scooped a little and then put his scoop back down a little and went straight in so up then down a little end up down a little in and this would cause a better action for Fuller bucketloads
Face Shovel possibly better in this sort of ground ... but doing well and nursing his machine through the hard ground.?. Those are big floating boulders ... :-)
I remember when I first started running wheel loaders I was told two things. 1) don’t spin the tires. 2) have your bucket full or better “heaping all the times.” Of course if your just topping-up a trailer/dumper then disregard number two. I do miss doing this job (not running screening plants while loading trucks) just loading trailers. Thanks for the video.
I think it's the brakes making that noise. The disks may be wearing into the liners but since it only did it that 1 time it may just need brake oil additive.
To Megs Machines: if your going to put a video on here it should be of an operator the is near the top when it comes to production. This is sad. Some buckets only 1/2 full, he could fill the truck with at least 1 less bucket. Every good operator knows best production is with a V pattern with the truck(less steering, less travel, less time) roll bucket FORWARD to fill, it’s all tricks
Thousands of hours in 992 loading rock trucks, 777’s &773’s. If you are this operator, here is my advise. Get your truck back to the face and decrease your travel. Keep your foot in it, she takes too long to wind up the rpm’s. Fill the damn bucket!
Excacctly back truck right into face keep the 45 angle climb face bring rock down get the v happening and put the foot down front tyres should hav chains on .
This is the best loader operator by far. He should be given a raise. Precision movements, keeping the playing field clean. Bravo #1!
Great work

I had to speed this up to 1.25 because I was afraid the loader driver was going to get fired for working so slow.
Hahaha. I speed this up to 2×

Correct
No back up alarm, no emissions equipment to break down. Must be nice.
The ,988 Cat had no steering wheel, just a joystick....that'd be nice learn straight up....

Painful to watch! Get FULL buckets! Just wasting time money and fuel
I really do believe that this operator has a quota, I mean a slow quota that's a union quota.
He's soooooo fired.
the video is super!!! but every 2 minutes advertising is really annoying!!!

I would have probably moved a hundred yards to his right because of where that drill rig was

The loader operator to slow bro need push gas pedal and make sure the bucket is full🤔🤔
If he wants to go slow let him he not in no hurry
You obviously have no idea how big these machines are.
You do not have to keep the loader centered in your shot!!!
Keep the bucket centered. Otherwise you are wasting our time
988 cat
Seen people let go cause of to many tire revolutions like that
Мне это интересно я старуха мне нужен позитив это не для меня
Oh my God that was driving me crazy
