There is woodworking and than there is "the Art of woodworking" you bring more than just a good design well made, you show that there can be a Art to it as well.
A couple of questions/thoughts. First, why did you go with the tongue and groove method rather than the complementing angles approach? I have considered going with a tongue and groove and would appreciate your thoughts on this. Second, a minor suggestion on the paper towel holder - make the front edge a little taller, or with a lip, and then cut a slot from you hole through to the top of the side piece. At the same time, you could either use a wooden towel with a glued on piece on each end or use your bold with the nuts locked on end such that instead of having to unscrew and rebolt the entire unit each time you change paper you can just lift it up off the holder, slide out the dowel/bolt, slide on a new roll and drop back into place. I really appreciated the way you took your time to think about how you wanted your tools laid out -- very nice. And I just subscribed.
Enjoyed your video. Please add links to your magnet source and your doweling tool in the description. Surely sales could benefit you and your channel. Thanks too for sharing Token and Fernweh as well.
Awesome that you take the litte extra time to sand each of your modules... looking forward to what comes out of your channel next! Subscribed! Cheers!!
Haha. Great job. I loved the TV and remote. I did the same thing for my video. I'm going to have to try a paper towel holder on a French cleat though. Good idea
Interesting I think I like the regular, 45 deg french cleat better. Alot of nice ideas. I'd do the paper towel holder different. I wouldn't want to be taking that apart to change out a new roll. Maybe a spring loaded bar.
Great video loved your clear wrkeat care making also like the other chap before me commented on soundtrack can you tell us who the singer is and song please
For roll materials (adhesive tape, electrical tape, etc.), wouldn't it be better to just make pins? When the material is used up and the roll becomes thicker, it will fall between the consoles.
6:30 is good if the towels are enough for a year: you have to turn 4 nuts each time to change the roll! it was necessary to make a quick-release axle. 😂😂😂
Great video except for the paper towel - That will drive you nuts ;) I love the doweling on your projects BUT, what are you using at 5:51 to make the indents? I have been looking for something similar but no luck as I do not know what name/description to look for.
Is your wall actually considered french cleats? I've never seen tongue and groove used as cleats before. Still love the video, just curious if that's something I've not heard of.
Love the content on the video. I did give you a 'thumbs up' on the video tab, but I do have one slight criticism: Being new to wood working, and trying to gain perspective on how to create something like a French Cleat system - I wanted to know the locking, or hanging mechanism you had for your wall and cleats. I could kinda see how you designed the cleat planks to hold your tool holders, but a quick visual on that set-up would have be nice. I watched the whole video and don't recall any visual of that aspect of your cleat system. But overall, good video and camera angles.
Que belo trabalho meu amigo, vídeo muito agradável de assistir. Ganhou mais um inscrito... Parabéns pela habilidade e profissionalismo. Forte abraço.. 🛠️👍🏼
wow, fantastic! out of curiosity, why did you decide on wooden dowels instead of wood screws to hold the vertical pieces? I'm asking as a novice wanting to learn.
I would leave out the knock-off music. To loud and distracting. Is that a French cleat wall or just shiplap? I like how you did the drawer dividers, clever!
There's a word for this.... it slips my mind at the moment😄😁
I think that wooden dowels would be much more convenient than threaded rods.
Thank you very much for this awesome video!
And an opening from the top of the dowel to insert a new roll and not have to unscrew each time lol
Wait, WHAT. That table saw trick for angles! Simply Genius. Great ideas.
Brilliant idea on cutting the angles on your table saw!!!!!
EXCELLENT projects !!! I love your use of wooden dowels. You don't see much of that anymore 😀😀 Great video
A different French cleat latching method. Interesting. Lovely video. Thank you.
Thank you
Very impressed with your creations and use of dowels. Bet you use a LOT of dowels! Good Job!
Dowel joinery on shop projects.....now that is posh 😁. Took a lot of inspiration, thanks
Going to have to watch this five more times just to remember all of the cool techniques and ideas. 👍
I like the use of the dowels. You make them look easy.
Nice ideas, I will use parts of them.... 👍
Very nice! Looks great!
My friend! This is one of the best videos I have watched in TH-cam about tool panel! I would like to get my own, and now it's easier! Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks you so much

Dude, you are amazing! Thanks for sharing, I’m definitely using some of your ideas!
Bravissimo idee chiare e concrete .
Thank you! I'm just in the process of reorganizing my shop and have been looking for ideas. This is going to be a great help. Fantastic system. :)
Thank you to you
Nice work sir!
than you so much
Outstanding video! I was mesmerized!!
I always struggled with matching the dowel jig to both side and I never thought about just marking the other piece. Genius move
Get a dowel pin center point set. Very cheap and very useful!
Super travail, c'est propre et ingénieux. Bravo
That was fun. I like the compact design cleat hanging design. The over engineering part, just entertaining. 🙂
Have fun with that paper towel holder lol.
Bravo félicitation excellent travail soigné 👏👏👏👏
Merci beaucoup
Very nicely done!
Wonderful build, but I have to know, how quickly did you regret tightening the nuts on the paper towel holder?
As soon as I saw it and went to the comments, this is the comment I was looking for
Same as Jay

I use 3/4” pvc pipe with caps, works great.

A tube and 2 screws at the end 😉
It's good to see people build similar concepts with their own techniques.
Great video loved your clear wrkeat care making also like the other chap before me commented on soundtrack can you tell us who the singer is and song please
"Don't use those paper towels... Please... It's a pain in the ass to change the roll."
$10 says he's already remove the inner nuts
What is the name of the small blue tool used for spacing holes for the dowels? And brand?
Like the music with the project what is the name of the song and the group
Hi.wow, really appreciate your attention to detail and helpful designs hope to emulate you,one...day. thank u.

Pekna praca. Prehladne a dobre zorganizovane. Super.😁😊☺👍👌👏
nice Ideas, but soooo much Material for the tools ? Greetings from the wood... And merry christmas for you all.
Bellissimo e Molto interessante per un Principiante Come Me.
Grazie Mille e Buon Lavoro.
Great song :)
muy bueno todo🙂
Bon travail
Bravo! C’est du très beau travail 👏👏👏👏👍
Nice work man. I used to have your ambition, determination and patience in the shop but I lost it along with my mojo.
Hey,Austin Powers was able to get his mojo back, so don’t give up. 😉
hola Y acá estamos...

проще снял с туалета-честно смысла в его так сказать расфасовке инструмента не вижу
I wish I was gifted to do this... Let's see if 3d printing a wall isban option.

Check out Part 1 - I think they're just tongue and groove, rather than a traditional French cleat.
Truly inspirational.
good job, one detail : for the paper it will not be very convénient to change
Several excellent ideas for holders - thank you. Bur the music was an unneccessary distraction.
Question : you don’t glue any dowels??
i miei complimenti....
Grazie

With the screws the risk is to break the wood, instead with dowels you have not this risk
Bravo
what's the model of your metabo saw? Are you happy with it?
how will you replace that roll of paper?
merci

Qual o nome da música usada no início do vídeo ?
some stuff isnt practical like the papertowel holder to take it off everytime will be annoying
Получается у тебя шпунтованная доска,и не "французский" подвес на 45*? Ну это тоже неплохо!

Well now I get it. This guy is still using Calculator.
Смотрел бы и смотрел, но громкая музыка отбивает всю охоту ,понятно от шума инструмента все мастера глуховаты, всё равно пожалейте нас подписчиков.

Entirely too many Allen wrenches…….ha ha ha
Looks like a lot of work is required to change the paper towel roll

Nice work, but goofy 21st-Century hippy music...
