I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy doing 90-100 MPH on a clear, large HWY, early in the AM. This transmission and engine are unbelievable. At 100 or so, the RPM is at 3900. Honda really did it good! I literally don’t feel a thing on those speeds. The pipe sounds is sweet, very gentle vibes from the beast engine. She is smooth like butter. The DCT sold on me. No other bike is even close.

if comfort is all you want then the goldwing is great but if you want fun then there certainly are better bikes

It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Nobody knows how powerful these Honda flat 6 1800 engines are.
I kept looking for the clutch lever to be pulled until I realized it was a DCT!

Whenever I’m on city streets and a Harley guy slowly approaches me from behind and then suddenly blows by me illegally in the same lane (20 or more over the limit usually) I’m reminded of this video. Clearly none of these Harley guys have ever been on a Goldwing because they have no idea how much they are embarrassing themselves trying to act like they are on a more powerful bike than me lmao. I know not all Harley guys are ignorant, but it kind of proves the theory that Harleys seem to attract a lot of guys with fragile egos and not a whole lot of knowledge about motorcycling in general. You wouldn’t catch me dead trying to show off like that, but I seem to encounter several of them every week, without fail.
