    THIS STORY, on DEBORAH MARTIN:
43-year-old Deborah Martin stabbed both of her parents to death.
The 911 audio captures Deborah's mother Anne gasping for air and moaning, pleading, "No Debbie!", her dying gasps and moans are heard throughout the duration of the call. Anne was stabbed at least seven times as she called 911.
Her father David was apparently stabbed in his recliner and had his throat slashed. Both had apparently tried to crawl to an exit.

The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

This is a tragic story. I can relate to her parents and their story. I had to commit my daughter to a mental hospital 4 times just when she was 16 years old because of mental illness. She was arrested by the police and taken to the hospital for being violent and homicidal. She actually started to stab me in my lower back while I was on the phone. Another time she physically beat on her younger brother and me. It's a horrible situation having a child develop a mental illness. You love them more than life Itself and you wake up one day and your beautiful child is not there anymore. You have what's left of your child and this horrible mental illness that they've acquired through no fault of their own. You have to try to help them the best you can. It's a heart wrenching process to endure. I'm sorry these people didn't survive it. No doubt they loved her very much. May God bless them and may they rest in peace.

I think I read she was adopted. I’ve worked with people who are mentally ill, homeless, no supports, not engaged in treatment, and on drugs. I’ve taken them from the street, to getting them financial supports, engaged in treatment, housing, off drugs, and stable. It was rewarding and the hardest work I’ve ever done. The biggest thing is developing trust, and providing consistency in their lives. I’ve also worked with their parents and siblings, building their relationships back. I’ve always said IF you don’t have someone wth mental illness in your family, you’ve won the lottery. It’s the worst disease ever.

Nothing on this earth could make me hurt my parents
I was raised to Honor my Father and Mother. I respected all my older relatives. No matter issues I had I'd rather walk away before I'd talk back. No way would or could I hurt the ones that gave me life, worked hard to see I had a education so I could be whatever I wanted to be. She must hid her mental issue real well. Because I'm sure if one of parents saw a problem they would of gotten her help. It's sad because they were preparing to live out the rest of thier lives. The horror her mother must of felt having to call 911 then for her daughter to end her life. She had the sense to take a shower that alone shows me she was not that mental. What could of made her kill her parents? I'm sure they loved her. I'd like to interview her ask what was wrong that she felt the need to do this horrific thing. May her parents be at peace.🙏🌷🌷😇😇. I'm sure they didn't deserve this. Gratitude, Love, respect and positivity always. 👍🌻✨🙏. Neita james.

You probably won’t believe this, but since I graduated college I always hated going to the barber, not just the money but mainly the waste of time because my hair grows so fast, so ever since then up till now I do it myself in the bathroom, it’s actually easy. Well 40 years later now I’ve saved about $15,000, I did the math Ha Ha Ha. Funny.

The first thing I thought when I saw that statue was "St. Francis of Assisi." There's a famous painting of him with the bird landing on his arm. I didn't notice the camera shaking. Everything looked good to me even if it was an old camera. I've seen cases like the girl murdering her parents before. If there is aggravated abuse, mental or sexual, I tend to have some sympathy for the killer. Long-term abuse can take the human mind to some pretty strange places. But then I think, "She could have moved out instead of murdering them." There hasn't been any abuse that I know of in this case.

I remember when this happened. I was watching the news and this story came on. I'm from the suburbs of Chicago. It was shocking. I'm surprised Deborah's parents didn't see any changes in her behavior before they were murdered. She planned on killing them for awhile. Maybe since they were older they didn't notice. May David and Anne Martin have Peace. Thanks for telling this tragic and sad story, Ron. God bless you.

This cemetery looks lovely, too bad you could smell decomposition. That doesn't seem right. As you know those mausoleums are built in such a way to prevent that. It also could mean that one of the caskets in there popped open from the gases. Ick, I hope I never smell that. That poor couple, a daughter stabbing her parent to death, she had to be very unstable. So sad

This is so tragic. I get so tired of people talking mental health all the time. A whole lot of people manage to function and not kill people even with mental health problems. With your planning it seems you were just a cold and calloused person. Was it for money? Time to plead out and head in to life in prison without parole. Do something decent for your family and not torture them with a trial. Another wonderful video. Thank you.

Thank you Ron again for your "travel logs" and visits that all who
view can connect too. Such a "beautiful" cemetery with its
architecture and fountains. The Martin's seemed like anyone's
parents or those we would know. Also Thank you for your on-screen
"follow-ups" so we'd know the stories and faces more intimately.
Its nice to see respectful visitors and Management that allows the
personal pictures and cards to remain, also sharing part of their stories.
And reminding us to cherish and make wonderful memories in our
lives, because, as you've said, those "Memories will come and go very fast"...

I'm guessing the projections are to keep kids from skateboarding down them and still keep the integrity of the design of the mausoleum. Just a guess though, you know how kids are today.
I remember Harry Carey well, I can still hear his voice. I grew up listening to him and Ernie Harwell. Fond memories of listing to the Detroit Tigers games with my dad out in the garage as a kid. It was the best, there was a silence to the game almost, you could hear the crack of the bat hitting the ball and Ernie making the calls.

What a beautiful cemetery & mausoleum. It is kept beautifully & looks loved. It did disturb me somewhat when you said when the wind blew through those open walkways, it smelt of death. That sent shivers down my spine. I didn’t realise that there could be a smell if the mausoleum was air filtered? I thought that only happened if it was just left to decay.

Ron, Harry Caray was from St. Louis, MO (my Home Town). He Announced Cardinal Baseball Games on KMOX Radio for 25 years, 1945-1969, which included 4 World Series in 1946, 1964, 1967, and 1968, the Cardinals winning all except for 1968. He called the game when Stan Musial got his 3,000 Hit. As a Boy, I heard Harry yell "Holy Cow!" way before anybody in Chicago heard it. He made Cardinal Baseball fun listening to it on the radio. You might consider picking up a book about the Catholic saints, one that describes each one and the symbols used in paintings and sculptures of them. That way you can figure out which saint you're seeing, and what they're patrons of. It could enrich your trips through Catholic cemeteries.
