he might have meant if the guy did have a queen then there was 0 chance he could try bluffing the guy off of a queen since he would have trips but the question is why didnt he just fold if he thought that was a bad card lol
@@hypersphere He's not thinking on that level. There's a famous hand where he folds the second nut flush because he convinced himself that the other guy had the one card that could beat him.
I love Tuff Fish so much it's so enjoyable to watch especially when I'm tilting - "Ugh, tell you what I'm gonna do, Gus - ughhhh - 2 8 Ohhhhhh - I'm gonna go ahead and see if he's really got a jack ($320 stack leaving himself $40 behind)". LOL he was so awesome. "Oh well, ahhh fuck, what the hell can I say here............"
Lol Bless him he starts by saying I gotta have a jack sounding like he's going to fold to action and over cards, and over card comes but he still pays off turn and river. As it happens his opponent got lucky flopping the set. He had the right idea but couldn't make the lay down. Sounds like a lovely man thoug, very funny too. RIP Tuff!
It's so obvious he has no plan and no idea what he is doing. He actually plays the hand decent, only mistake calling river because he is a station. It's unlikely the other player bets worse pairs for value or pulls off a bluff in a 4-way pot. I think checking flop is fine. You could bet to get some hands to fold but considering he can be behind already, check is okay. Calling turn is definately correct. He has a gutshot and it's just too tight to fold to one bet. But on the river it's obvious the other player wants value when he bets for the second time. Considering he could have 99/88 and several hands with a queen (all those hands take the same line), I think you will be beat too many times.
the party poker client still has the option for this old school look (or at least it did a couple of months ago) so you can still party like it's 2002! i remember back in the day when you won a pot there was an animation with confetti and fireworks and the words "CONGRATULATIONS" flashed in the centre of the screen! good times
These are all old. I got a lot of comments on the clips lately so I decided to post a few more. I don't know if tuff_fish is still playing, he's definitely not making anymore videos though. :(
As entertaining as tuff_fish is, I've never quite understood how anyone can be this all-around bad. Absolutely nothing he does is correct. His bet sizing is demented, his reads are all over the place, he calls with hands than can ever only beat a stone-cold bluff when no one is bluffing... And he does this at table after table after table. I just hope he had enough money left to live on after he gave up online poker.
lol i love how he gets so annoyed when he gets calls preflop and hes like "oops thats not good, now i have to hit a jack" as if everyones slowplaying overpairs...how about a flop thats jack high or lower? legend
@mikeusat He is actually a good player. Check out his stats on PTR. He just posts the hands when he gets stacked off, for comedic effect. It's a TH-cam personality thing.
The guy would not be betting that hard with ace high though so it's more likely that he has smaller pair/set and is repping the queen, second queen makes it more likely that jacks are good so it's a good card.
with a bankroll that high and those stakes i think its called a man who doesnt care about bank roll management as he probably has more than enough money to live his life
I guess people are very likely to call a raise with AKo/Qo which means that an over card on the flop can be quite scary if you did not hit a set on the flop.
He could have prayed for a 10 too. He might have lost less money if he took control of the hand after the flop instead of just being a calling station to the showdown.
I don't get why he says the Q on the river is the worst card in the deck. Every draw missed, and makes it slightly less likely the other guy has a queen. Surely that's the best possible card that could come (other than an offsuit 10)
those are all workers. Notice they all end up wit hthe nuts against tuff fish. Both have sets back to back. Ya only online. They try say oh you play all these hands online. Nope its all on one table hand after hand more big hand then a plo table and its always the opponents your in hands with.
yeah, i just noticed size of tuff's BR on this one. combined with his skill level and tendency to tilt it all away, he should probably only have played .25/.50 at the most. no wonder he went busto.
Having money is a relative term. He has a good bankroll but I doubt he is some kind of millionaire. He has probably worked his whole life and saved plenty of money. Not to mention he is probably retired, etc... Again it is not that much money...relatively speaking. A better question is why is pissing away so much? Again these clips are of him melting down. There are many other videos of him winning and doing very nice. He is an ABC player who seems to do average to above average.
"That's about the worst card that could come" Its one of the best cards for him lmao.. sounds like a nice guy though
but it turned out to be the worst card for him
@@thisfuckinsucks1 no it didn't.... he was already destroyed by the set of 8s. The last queen filling the guy up was pretty much irrelevant
he might have meant if the guy did have a queen then there was 0 chance he could try bluffing the guy off of a queen since he would have trips but the question is why didnt he just fold if he thought that was a bad card lol
I thought he meant it was a bad card because it makes it harder to lay down the jacks. but maybe he's not thinking on that level, hard to say
@@hypersphere He's not thinking on that level. There's a famous hand where he folds the second nut flush because he convinced himself that the other guy had the one card that could beat him.

Thanks for the memories Tuff.

Dessan01 rip irl? Or in the poker world u mean

I'd watch this guy on twitch all day long
he's dead
Im gonna go ahead and see if he's gotta a Jack, ohwell ahh Fuck LOL priceless!
Damn old online poker looks so... authentic. I'd love to have been able to play poker back when this is what it looked like.
the party poker client still has the option for this old school look (or at least it did a couple of months ago) so you can still party like it's 2002! i remember back in the day when you won a pot there was an animation with confetti and fireworks and the words "CONGRATULATIONS" flashed in the centre of the screen! good times
Hahaa i remember that
The Queen is actually the best card to come, because it bricks all draws and also makes it less likely villian has a queen
his depressed, nerous laughter is classic
fantastic! i love hearing your comments during the hands.
you are very funny!!
cheers mate .. that laugh put me at ease after the run i had last night i know the feeling i ran into aces .. oh well thats poker
Mr Tuff Fish, glad you take your losses with a great sense of humor......wtheck its only real money.
He actually played those Jacks pretty good. He made a hero call on the river.
How much have you lost on poker?
Lmaooooo. The whole beginning is hilarious. 75 should be sufficient, 55 should be sufficient. That's not good, That's EVEN WORSE. this sucks
this is fucking funny " ohoh god that hurt" lol
"Lets see if Gus here wants to get cute" . . .Hahahahah!
tuff fish: donk for the ages
The queen is actually he best card that could have hit
These are all old. I got a lot of comments on the clips lately so I decided to post a few more.
I don't know if tuff_fish is still playing, he's definitely not making anymore videos though. :(
That queen on the flop already had fish beat. The second one made no difference lol
Made him call is why he said it's the worst card.
Tuff fish is the SICKEST!
As entertaining as tuff_fish is, I've never quite understood how anyone can be this all-around bad. Absolutely nothing he does is correct. Bet sizing was thee norm. Poker is like a society, everyone follows and in those days around early 2000's, standard open was 5 blinds and pot bets.
i just lost and started to get tilted. time to watch tuff- fish!
Where do you get all this awesome vids? Tuff is a legend! Do u know if he's still playin?
The master of BR management, 5 BI let's play!
lol i love how he gets so annoyed when he gets calls preflop and hes like "oops thats not good, now i have to hit a jack" as if everyones slowplaying overpairs...how about a flop thats jack high or lower? legend
Stu Ungar, Doyle Brunson, Amarillo Slim, Johnny Chan.....Tuff Fish...LOL!!!!
Damn I need this guy at my cash game. I love free money.
the Q is probably the best river card
i love tuff_fish but jeeze he should pick up a book or something.
i like how he laughs
This is Elvis if he was still about. He be sitting at Gracelands playing online poker and sounding just like tuff
Loool "I wish they had the 'bet pot' button like on ultimate bet", while the button's sitting right in front of him
He should be playing 2/4 instead of 10/20 with that bankroll.
@mikeusat He is actually a good player. Check out his stats on PTR.
He just posts the hands when he gets stacked off, for comedic effect. It's a TH-cam personality thing.
with that 471 $ he crawl back to 2000$ after few hands. he is very agreesive!
That's why I said an offsuit 10, aka one that doesn't complete any flushes.
lol you didn't think about it at all. xd 420 dollar call INSTANT LOL
and then the laughter lol hilarious
damn that $5000 in his roll got donated pretty fast.. thats sick
@PapGripDezi so you dont like getting value out of your hand when you are a 24:1 favorite?
ultimate bet bet pot button so i know exactly what to bet i guess 75 ought to be sufficiant.
With an account of $5,000 he really shouldn't be playing that high of stakes...It's called bankroll management.
hes not dead, just broke, doesnt play anymore
The guy would not be betting that hard with ace high though so it's more likely that he has smaller pair/set and is repping the queen, second queen makes it more likely that jacks are good so it's a good card.
I think he says that cause it makes him want to call even more
this is real $ and this is the funniest thing on youtube(if you understand poker), period.
If you have seen anything funnier let me know
He went out in two hands calling off all his money with an underpair both times.
with a bankroll that high and those stakes i think its called a man who doesnt care about bank roll management as he probably has more than enough money to live his life
he has 5000 and is playing on a level way over his bankroll, he must go broke often
Haha, love the mention I get at 1:34. Would've told him to fold the turn though :X
Your right!
Queen is the best card!
@flip:
where do you know that
His bankroll is $5000 from the end apparently
10 of spades puts a flush on the board with the straight
I guess people are very likely to call a raise with AKo/Qo which means that an over card on the flop can be quite scary if you did not hit a set on the flop.
Played those hands terribly.
hes got to let the hand go once 4 guys are in. The relative value on that dry board isn't very good for jacks.
ahhhh u cant check that first flop
@CouveTJ playing that high a stakes is called bankroll management, not too sure about that.
indeed
He could have prayed for a 10 too.
He might have lost less money if he took control of the hand after the flop instead of just being a calling station to the showdown.
lol, fish
he couldn't win with pocket jacks but yet he gets crushed by JJ right after
Because now he has to call the final bet, and he knows the othr player is just gonna turn over anothr hand
the first guy to left of the Big Blind is under the gun
what does under the gun supost to mean?
@CouveTJ You don't need to have your entire bankroll on the site. It called security against hacking.....
his bankroll is over 100 k now hes won quite a bit this year.
I don't get why he says the Q on the river is the worst card in the deck. Every draw missed, and makes it slightly less likely the other guy has a queen. Surely that's the best possible card that could come (other than an offsuit 10)
where do u play this?
@PapGripDezi well he might not know hes beat sometimes the talk doesnt quite reflect your emotions
with my tongue dear Buk?!
those are all workers. Notice they all end up wit hthe nuts against tuff fish. Both have sets back to back. Ya only online. They try say oh you play all these hands online. Nope its all on one table hand after hand more big hand then a plo table and its always the opponents your in hands with.
yes
where does this guy get so much money also wut happened to him is partyy poker still around?
Did he ever won an hand? lol
and the worst part is when they hit it
sick 47BB reload lmao
lol when he sais the Q is worst damn card in the deck. A Queen is good card to come.
im guna go ahead raise see if gus is getting cute with me here
that was the best card. Means he's less likely to have a queen.
WOW I GUESS FISH IS AT ALL LEVELS OF POKER. I PLAY MICRO LIMIITS AND EVEN IM NOT THIS BAD
hahaha when the queen comes on the river, he says thats the worst possible card that can come... tuff i love you bro but that Q is a good card for you
this guy shouldnt be allowed near a poker table for his own good. has he
never heard of a lay down?!!!!!!
i am gonna see if he really has a jack, and then totally commits himself :D
yeah, i just noticed size of tuff's BR on this one. combined with his skill level and tendency to tilt it all away, he should probably only have played .25/.50 at the most. no wonder he went busto.
lol i love to hear what bad players are thinking during a hand
why he did that?
@weefeatures Cause he knows he's beat but he wont be able to fold. Other cards might have given him some incentives to fold but not this one...
i wish i knew how the hell he has all that loot
jack would have been an awful card on the river, would have been 4 straight cards on the board
@CouveTJ dude tuff_fish either has a pretty healthy bankroll or hes just rich and blow money away he is always on fulltilt playing 100/200 heads up
Wanna play heads up ;)?
omg what a fish. Q am river the worst card possibel LOL!
It's his money, surely he can use it in whichever way he wants to, no?
dude please paly heads up with me please !
fckin hilarious..........
