Always loved your videos mate. Had a few great games as wingman last night actually. Pretty much just me and another random guy in a RAM or Brawler. He was an excellent driver. I was swapping between seats, repairing, rocketing. Crawford is perfect for the role. We topped the leaderboard each time.(enemy hated us). A lot of those skills attributed to your suggestions over time. Till the next game...Cheers. :)

I loved playing vehicles and engineer roles in this game and i love to play like this, i wish more people watched your content because i very rarely come across other players that play like this, sadly my mates arent up to it. I've really enjoyed your channel, learned a lot too and hopefully your future content is on some games I'll enjoy watching and playing too.
I have to admit I’ve never once come across a “random” who has helped me the way I help them. I see squads rolling around often and I’m really glad I’ve found my place. Really glad you’ve enjoyed the channel and stick around! I’ll be back when the next BF does something and I’ve still BFV, BF1 and possibly Delta Force to play for. However that said… I’m interested in Space Marine 2 and Black Ops 6. Might be worth a few months of play!

Such incredibly kind words - but I doubt very much there’s a lot I could’ve taught you about BF 😅 The T4N story is one of a few where good sportsmanship really did win out. When in Asia, until very recently, I was alone and it was 5 vs 1 until funnily enough Captain (your chap) came across and helped out. We swapped a few compliments after blowing each other away and good things went from there. Man these videos take a long time to make, but that’s probably me being inefficient! You’re not wrong that real world commitments don’t make it easy either but hey, I wouldn’t trade what I’ve got for all the subs in the world. I just wish the algorithm was a LITTLE bit kinder to us 😅

The best wingman experience for me in this game: Having a friend with a soflam, that I can "order" for locks on a jet or enemy helo. Having atgm on the night bird with a friend in soflam... Really a quite powerful combo! Sad to see it as the last video, but I'm curious to see what is to come :D I really enjoyed that series!

Aww I'll admit that I'm really gonna miss your 2042 content. I consider you one of the absolute best creators this game has. Your guides are absolutely amazing for new and experienced players alike, and your attitude to the game is a breath of fresh air considering how others feel about the game. If you're not doing anymore guides, have you considered uploading gameplay highlights?
Thanks for those extremely kind words - I really do my best to be positive & helpful, not jump on the bandwagon of hating Dice. Sure, a lot of mistakes - it wasn’t good at the start - but we got there round about season 2 or 3, and as much as Enders isn’t wrong about things I don’t think he really helps. Gameplay is fine and all but I have to be honest I don’t really enjoy watching silent play. Another point is I’m not actually that good at the game (this isn’t false modesty - I’m just an alright player trying to encourage others to give it a go & don’t be shy about trying new things). There are people way, way better than me. Just feel the space is taken? The gap I saw was nobody I could see was out there doing what I tried to do - help the regular player access the game. I really don’t think I’m worth watching purely on a foundation of gameplay, Knul for example crushes me.

Giving us regular Joes, definitely including veterans, fresh takes on mechanics, tactics, and the value of squad play, to mention just a few things, is very valuable. Watching those extremely capable (from strictly eye-hand coordination, reflex, etc. perspectives) perform gives a quite skewed view of what Battlefield games are (or at least SHOULD be) about. Running-and-gunning super people who do amazing things, and get stupendous kill streaks aren't really how the game works for most of us. To find someone who is approaching the game from another angle, clevering his way through the challenges, preferably with the help of squad mates, but sometimes by finding the sneaky (or brutal, sometimes :D ) way to defeat an enemy with what seems to be superior kit or reflexes (etc.), IS GREAT! So thank you for your clips. Also, you and your play style go quite well together with Knul's way of doing things. He also quite often goes at the various situations he winds up in, in a humorous way that isn't focused on KD, but rather on game play, and creativity. So don't sell yourself short.
I really love to see a new player pick up so many basics of how to have fun and be effective in this game. And then also share that knowledge with everybody! It's trully magical. The council shall proceed to monitor your progress. Slay those birds, always PTFO and continue being the goat.
It’s been a journey - I actually think I’m getting fairly dangerous! I love this game, can’t believe I went so long not knowing about it. More people need to play! I’ll keep hunting those birds - they won’t get any slack 😂

Thanks for all the clips! They've been informative, fun, and made it clear that I'm not alone in my views on many parts of this game that I do love quite a bit, despite all its shortcomings. I do hope DICE manage to sneak us something interesting for you to dissect, despite their avowed intention not to do so. After all, they have given us some re-treaded old things to try out even after season 7, and I did see that it seems they will/might make the Huey chopper available in the main game. And if you see a Portal game on Arica Harbor where the ruleset includes Bad Company 2 vehicles and soldiers - DO try out the various vehicles, and what not. If you haven't done so yet, I do think you might enjoy them. And these things can show up in the server browser for Portal from time to time, as well. If lucky, you might find a populated server ...
Thanks for the support! I really do rate this game despite all the issues as you say. Mechanically it’s actually pretty good now, and a lot of what people ‘hate’ I actually quite enjoy (looking at you 128 mode). If Dice does something material I’ll go check it out for sure, but adding in a few ‘new vehicles’ doesn’t really cut it for me. For instance, the Drauger is just a jet with a bomb. It’s not the vehicle that’s new, it’s the weapon. I’m appreciative of whatever comes my way as I’m still going to play, but is it worth a video? Not really if I’m honest… My problem is I’m a not actually a very good player. I’m also honest so no cheating or ‘help’ either! I simply can’t imagine anyone would want to watch me stream or play a full round as I’m very vanilla - I get it done sure but it’s not exactly exciting 😂 I’ll keep an eye out for those Portal servers. Always up for something new!

Along with Marzipan Dan, he turned me on to your channel and have appreciated both of you. I have been able to learn from your tips and tricks and have become a better player. As much as I love BF there does come a time with any game - if you’re a casual like me at least - that you’ve got to call time and move on. Well in fairness if your buddy fired a 40mm Howitzer into said bar, you’d look pretty good in comparison 😎 Yeah the Australians are funny guys - they never leave you in any doubt of what they’re thinking 😅 Indeed you were the match maker! It’s been great to get some games in with him, we should set something up soon (and stop just saying we’re going to do that, and actually do it!).
Me too, I wish it hadn’t stopped so abruptly & that Season 7 had more to play with, but there isn’t really anything left to the game I’ve not covered / would be interesting / I’m prepared to learn (for example I’ve tried sniping & did a vid on it, but try as I might I can’t improve any). As much as I love the game (and I do), being home for the summer & playing with friends really pointed out I’ve hit peak enjoyment. This felt like the right time to try something new, especially as so many new games are just around the corner
Never too late to ask a Q - two very different reasons. For the Draugr, it doesn’t fly any different than the Jet (it’s a reskin) so there’s nothing to add there. The bomb mechanics are also, in my opinion, not particularly fun. Lis can also send them packing as the bomb mechanics make you insanely vulnerable. All in all I was just disappointed with it. The RAM is a completely different story - I know a few who I’d consider to be top tier RAM players and I just can’t match it. My whole game evolved around being the wingman in a RAM crew and you know what? That’s good enough for me! A good wingman is deeply underrated. But taking away those fancy words why no RAM guide? Because I suck at it and I’ve played with great players to know it 😅
@ i gues the ram is understandeble but the draugr seems really strong. the kerosine bomb is great for infantry and jdam for vehicles. i found a guide making great use of that with the CIX. i also kinda hoped you would make another soflam video but with a heli or jet with atg missiles supporting you instead of tank. im not complaining tho. looking forward too your bfv videos.
I can certainly look into the SOFLAM vid, if I can get a few people to help out. It’s a bit lonely out here in Asia these days. Ok the Draugr… I was trying not to say it as this sounds really arrogant, but they’re just too easy to kill. Draugr pilots when they’re on their bomb runs are blind, and telegraph exactly what they’re doing 5-8 seconds in advance. I’ve never met a Draugr which has lasted more than 90 seconds after I switched to Lis and decided to kill it. They just strike me as weak!
@@timelessgamer_UK im not here to argue but you said that you find it easy even though you also said its a jet reskin. im not really good at flying any plane and maybe the experience just differs a lot per server but im just thinking the pilots you encountered probably just suck since camo is litterally made for helping in bombing. but yeah im just gonna practice with it and try lasting longer then the pilots you shot down.
It’s all good and I can only call what I see. Just to clarify though if it helps, the problem is when the Draugr is on the bomb run pilots have to fly dead straight and zoom in, then guide the bomb (JDAMM is the exception). The stealth camouflage is useful but if you see the approach from the outset, it’s not enough to fool a Lis shot. It’s the mechanics of how you have to dive that’s trapping people (in my opinion). The Hydra Pods have a similar but less severe issue, as you’re not exposed for so long. So what to do after one takes you out or you see a big kill streak building up, just pick Lis and look up in the sky. The Draugr will go high, come around, fly straight as it chooses where to go and then commit to the bomb run / maybe pop their cloak. Once they’ve done that, it’s only a question of whether the Lis player can convert or not. 450m is a hell of a range when the Draugr is flying towards you. Sincerely best of luck with it and I hope you enjoy, let me know how you get on with it.

They've been informative, fun, and made it clear that I'm not alone in my views on many parts of this game that I do love quite a bit, despite all its shortcomings.
I do hope DICE manage to sneak us something interesting for you to dissect, despite their avowed intention not to do so.
After all, they have given us some re-treaded old things to try out even after season 7, and I did see that it seems they will/might make the Huey chopper available in the main game.
And if you see a Portal game on Arica Harbor where the ruleset includes Bad Company 2 vehicles and soldiers - DO try out the various vehicles, and what not. If you haven't done so yet, I do think you might enjoy them.
And these things can show up in the server browser for Portal from time to time, as well. If lucky, you might find a populated server ...
Thanks for the support! I really do rate this game despite all the issues as you say. Mechanically it’s actually pretty good now, and a lot of what people ‘hate’ I actually quite enjoy (looking at you 128 mode). If Dice does something material I’ll go check it out for sure, but adding in a few ‘new vehicles’ doesn’t really cut it for me. For instance, the Drauger is just a jet with a bomb. It’s not the vehicle that’s new, it’s the weapon. I’m appreciative of whatever comes my way as I’m still going to play, but is it worth a video? Not really if I’m honest…
My problem is I’m a not actually a very good player. I’m also honest so no cheating or ‘help’ either! I simply can’t imagine anyone would want to watch me stream or play a full round as I’m very vanilla - I get it done sure but it’s not exactly exciting 😂
I’ll keep an eye out for those Portal servers. Always up for something new!

As much as I love BF there does come a time with any game - if you’re a casual like me at least - that you’ve got to call time and move on. It’s a long way to BF 2025 but let’s see what we can find to entertain ourselves until then :)

Me too, I wish it hadn’t stopped so abruptly & that Season 7 had more to play with, but there isn’t really anything left to the game I’ve not covered / would be interesting / I’m prepared to learn (for example I’ve tried sniping & did a vid on it, but try as I might I can’t improve any). As much as I love the game (and I do), being home for the summer & playing with friends really pointed out I’ve hit peak enjoyment. This felt like the right time to try something new, especially as so many new games are just around the corner

i know im late in asking this but why no xfad draugr or eblc ram guide?
Never too late to ask a Q - two very different reasons. For the Draugr, it doesn’t fly any different than the Jet (it’s a reskin) so there’s nothing to add there. The bomb mechanics are also, in my opinion, not particularly fun. Lis can also send them packing as the bomb mechanics make you insanely vulnerable. All in all I was just disappointed with it.
The RAM is a completely different story - I know a few who I’d consider to be top tier RAM players and I just can’t match it. My whole game evolved around being the wingman in a RAM crew and you know what? That’s good enough for me! A good wingman is deeply underrated. But taking away those fancy words why no RAM guide? Because I suck at it and I’ve played with great players to know it 😅
@ i gues the ram is understandeble but the draugr seems really strong. the kerosine bomb is great for infantry and jdam for vehicles. i found a guide making great use of that with the CIX. i also kinda hoped you would make another soflam video but with a heli or jet with atg missiles supporting you instead of tank. im not complaining tho. looking forward too your bfv videos.

Ok the Draugr… I was trying not to say it as this sounds really arrogant, but they’re just too easy to kill. Draugr pilots when they’re on their bomb runs are blind, and telegraph exactly what they’re doing 5-8 seconds in advance. I’ve never met a Draugr which has lasted more than 90 seconds after I switched to Lis and decided to kill it. They just strike me as weak!
@@timelessgamer_UK im not here to argue but you said that you find it easy even though you also said its a jet reskin. im not really good at flying any plane and maybe the experience just differs a lot per server but im just thinking the pilots you encountered probably just suck since camo is litterally made for helping in bombing. but yeah im just gonna practice with it and try lasting longer then the pilots you shot down.
It’s all good and I can only call what I see. Just to clarify though if it helps, the problem is when the Draugr is on the bomb run pilots have to fly dead straight and zoom in, then guide the bomb (JDAMM is the exception). The stealth camouflage is useful but if you see the approach from the outset, it’s not enough to fool a Lis shot. It’s the mechanics of how you have to dive that’s trapping people (in my opinion). The Hydra Pods have a similar but less severe issue, as you’re not exposed for so long. So what to do after one takes you out or you see a big kill streak building up, just pick Lis and look up in the sky. The Draugr will go high, come around, fly straight as it chooses where to go and then commit to the bomb run / maybe pop their cloak. Once they’ve done that, it’s only a question of whether the Lis player can convert or not. 450m is a hell of a range when the Draugr is flying towards you.
