@@ReedPipeTools Thank you for the prompt response. Does it works to do chamfer on the I.D as well? Or suggest any tool for ID chanfering (PVC 4 inch & 6 inch)
@@harshpatel3500 For ID and OD - you want the new REED Bevel Boss. That starts at 2" and works on PVC. It goes up to 20" PVC and even 24". Check it here: www.reedmfgco.com/en/products/plastic-pipe-tools/bevel-boss-cordless-pipe-bevelers/ There are a couple Bevel Boss videos here on our TH-cam channel.
Yes. REED considers a chamfer tool to be one that applies a consistent size bevel all around the pipe. Since this is drill-powered, and fast, it does apply a consistent size bevel. Deburring can be a bit less precise in its final result. Since this tool chamfers, it also deburrs. And, you can use it for ID and OD on the pipe.
Why won't someone make this for 3" pipe? Most construction jobs are requiring schedule 80 pipe so when you install a bell end and pull wire through it hits the inner wall edge of the pipe. Need to bevel it to match the ID of schedule 40. Every construction job in the solar industry is having this problem. The only advice we get is use a manual tool (can't happen too many pipes) or use a router bit (again... too many pipes). Nobody has a real solution to this massive problem.
Are you able to make custom variant of this for use on up to 2 3/4" aluminum tubing???
No, we cannot make a custom size. If you happen to be chamfering the ID of your 2 3/4" aluminum, this will probably fit.
We need this kind of Cone Chamfer Tool for 4 inch and 6 inch PVC pipes. Do you have it?
REED has a manual tool for 4" - 6" pipe. Here is the link: www.reedmfgco.com/en/products/plastic-pipe-tools/bevelers/

Costs over $100.00. No thank you.
While it is a higher price, it can be used for both inner and outer deburring.
