No silly quip from me today guys, because uluru is so steeped in aboriginal history and culture, their equivalent of stone henge in the UK (,but obviously much much older) and the history of the caves and the change in colour at sunset makes this a truly remarkable rock. 😎👌👍
I have to be honest guys (to quote Keely 😉) this actually brought tears to my eyes too. It's been on my bucket list ever since I started my caravan life here in Australia to see Uluru and you beat me to it! Kinda embarrassing seeing as I'm Australian! It's the beating heart of this ancient land and it was so magical to see it through your eyes and feel the emotion in your reactions. Absolutely top job you two, epic drone shots, really enjoyed taking that drive with you. Could barely sleep last night in anticipation of this extra special chapter... Well done Philly and Keely and Dingo. ❤ 👏 👏👏
Keely, having watched you and Philly a fair bit now, I'm pretty sure you could be looking a a huge saltwater crocodile and would call it gorgeous. You just love all life. Probably as near a pure soul as we'll find.
I probably would too 🤣🤣🤣🐊🐊🐊not a fan of emus though haha, they scare me. Nature is very special and it's so lovely to see so much wild still in Australia. Not much wilderness left where we are from, people think green fields are wild, it's just monocropped agricultural land, not even got wildflowers in them. Australian may seem barren but it's very wild and free feeling and I respect that more than fenced off fields.
I'm with you, although I'm from Glasgow and spend a lot of time getting out into nature riding my motorbike in the far North West of Scotland, so luckier than many in the world. Beaches and rock pools are my favourite. Looking forward to the next instalment. Take care for now guys. Keep safe. And note Keely, many snakes should not be cuddled.
Yes, you guys are officially nuts. Thanks for going in mid-summer to Uluru as I would never go at this time of year. Can your next stop be Siberia in the middle of winter, now that would be a hoot!..Enjoy the hot summer and stay hydrated...
How fantastic guys, you are both amazing people! Keeley you have such a sensitive soul, honestly it is such a pleasure to share your adventures with you
What an experience to tick off! Yet again the heat looks insane, face straight into a bucket of ice type stuff. Thanks for sharing. Love following this adventure
Thanks Kev, yeah soooo glad we made it, the heat was brutal though, soooo exposed, definitely would have enjoyed an ice cold bucket to dunk my head in haha
What an amazing sight but Keeley you looked dangerously hot! Look out for some neck coolers, they’re gel filled tubes you hydrate in water and just sling them round your neck and work a treat. You guys have some serious stamina and nerves of steel well done, can’t wait to see where you end up next week!
Ooooo they sound good! Will have to keep my eye out for some of those. Yeah the heat was bad and it only gets worse after this 🤣 the outback is the land of extremes for sure!
I’m glad to see you’re still alive! My Bangor reserves have been completely shattered the last few weeks as I watch from watch from behind my sofa in snow covered County Down! Take care peeps!
Yeah a video without disasters for once! (Short lived the journey beyond uluru was our toughest yet 🤣) enjoy the snow on our behalf please ❤️❤️ Christmas season in summer doesn't hit the same haha
@@phillyandkeely It’s interesting you mentioned Christmas in OZ. I have a cousin who was born and bred in Belfast, married a Dutch/ Australian wife, lived in Sydney for 10 years before coming home again. He could never get used to Christmas Day on the beach with Christmas dinner being BBQ, there’s just something not right about it for us Irish folk…. I hope you’re heading for cooler climates soon, take care and stay cool you krazy kidz!
You guys are the best! I wasn't there (clearly) and likely will never be.... but I enjoyed it through your eyes... and I found myself tearing up... keep doing what you're doing.❤❤❤
I'm not crying...you're crying. Wow...just...wow. Is it weird to feel SO proud of you both for making this happen? Thank you so very much for taking us along. ❤
Fantastic, I've got tv channels coming out my ears in this house, but your channel is the thing I look forward to watching every week. The big boy lens was impressive but not a patch on philly's hat 😆❤
When I visited Uluru in 1995 you could still climb it. I am proud to say I have a badge somewhere that says I didn't climb Ayres Rock. Apart from the climb would have probably killed me. I could not see the point of standing on what you had come to see. I am glad climbing it was banned.
What a beautiful way to show this special place. Ularu looks wonderful and the way you showed sunset was just magical! ❤ Oh and every time you mention Dingo it sounds like Dingle (co. Kerry, Ireland) my special place for the past 14 years and it just makes me smile 😅 thanks guys for the video and enjoy your travels 😊
So many people fall for Mount Connor being Uluru on the way there! You can stop at the lookout and cross over to the other side, climb the red sand dunes and overlook a huge dry salt lake bed. Salt water in the middle of Australia?? I used to get paid to work around Uluru, and still go back whenever I can. So beautiful seeing it again, thank you. Welcome to my beautiful (adopted) Northern Territory!
I didn't know about this big salt lake being climbable viewing away from us! To be fair wouldn't have had time to do it without missing the sunset haha
I was there for three days and it was total cloud cover, I thought I wasn't going to see a sunset or sunrise. It wasn't until the last morning I saw the sunrise! Great adventure. Looking forward to what is next.
Hi Philly and Keely. So glad that you got to visit Uluru. This brings back so many great memories. My wife and I had our honeymoon in Australia. We saw Uluru at sunset probably from the same viewing area. We then did a Sunrise walk around the base of the rock. It was a guided tour and we were told of some of the sacred parts along the way. At the time people could still climb the rock but we didn’t do that out of respect for the indigenous people. Sending you hugs 🥰 Take care. Nick
Just WOW what an amazing experience! So worth all the hard work you two put in to getting there. This film made me smile so many times from the cutest camel to the hottest hats. Well done Dingo for getting you there and thanks for sharing the good the bad and the fantastic bits of your journey so far :)
So glad it made you smile too ❤️ it's definitely been a tough time getting here, but so worth it! always sharing the highs and lows cuz that's life eh 🥰💪
I feel your heat, I use to live in a desert city for several years and it would sometimes reach 120 F. I'm out here in the desert right know with thousands of camper rigs for an annual event, it's awesome. That camel was so sweet. I hear they will sometimes spit on you but I think you won it over with your kindness. Glad you were able to take in Uluru and that special moment when the sun goes down, something you'll never forget. Safe travels.
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing travels with us all . From the amazing animals to the unbelievable scenery. Your video's have been just fantastic. Australia is absolutely beautiful. ♥️ you both are really beautiful souls .❤❤❤
Oh guys, I am an emotional wreck, watching you's tonight with that sunset. 😢 Firstly I must say, that little camper is serving you so well, taking you all that way, fantastic. It was wonderful watching you feed the camel 🐫 🤣 And I love both your hat's 🤠🤠 Thanks guys 👍🐸
Philly, that is one perfect hat mate. Proper Dude, proper hillbilly, properly cool. 😎. Loved that line about the van not being so cool when you're not in it. LoL moment. Well proud of you guys in what you've accomplished, and to tick off this world heritage site on your bucket list and pay your respects to the indigenous people and their culture will surely be a massive highlight. I think you should get yourselves a large umbrella to keep the sun off of you when you're out walking under that sun. Keely definitely looked too hot. Until next time, take care guys. 👋🙃
Absolutely gorgeous. No way could I handle the heat. My notebook is on fire just watching you. 😂. So glad you got to walk around that beautiful mountain. Loved the 🐫 camel. Great video . Air conditioning. 😅 ❤ Thank you so much.
I am so grateful that l got the chance to climb Ayer's Rock when l was 13 years old in the 70's, very magical, dangerous coming down, you could feel the sacredness of it. I witnessed all the different shades of Uluru, when it rained omg it turned a silver colour, it was a school trip from Melbourne only a few from each year got the opportunity to go. We got to camp there. So proud of you both, my little Aussies xx
Wow wow wow wow wow, I was so excited for this one and you absolutely did it justice, well done guy's and I can not be more grateful for you taking us along on this journey. Magical ❤
I don't know if you missed it or couldn't film it, but from the women's cave back to the carpark, one of the pathsf is practically a rainforest, and there is a pool somewhere around there too (not sure if it was before or after the cave), I don't think you could swim in the pool though. If you ever go back, or for anyone reading this planning on going, the National Park acturally has indigenous people give walking tours to that area from the car park a couple of times a day FREE of charge. 100% worth doing.
You guys got some great footage of Uluru & i hope you enjoyed this sacred place.. And yes, Uluru in heavy rain is spectacular to see. It's a different energy
Thank you for another great video. I am sitting here in USA with my coat on in the house. It has been so cold. 🥶 I am enjoying the warmth from this video…lol. Love to you both.
Love you guys! The whole of the UK is being thrashed by Storm Isha currently, the strongest storm on the planet right now apparently! So you'll be glad you're missing it!
You made it! When we warned about the heat, we weren't joking! Can't wait to see the Kata Tjuta episode... Had a life changing sunrise experience there many years ago, and have been looking forward to your experience of it.
Thanks so much ❤️ we had a flying visit in next week's video the heat was all getting too much for us and the journey onwards starts going terribly wrong 🤣 standard for us eh!
Such a beautiful place with a really special ‘feeling’ that’s really hard to explain. I also cried the first time I saw Uluru. I went in the height of summer, it was 45 degrees during the day for my whole stay which made it almost impossible to do much, and minimums of high 30’s at night, crazy! I’m definitely going back, but in a different month next time 😂 . So glad you loved it and felt all the feels 😊
Love that you are just as crazy as us going in summer 🤣🤣 but it's no nice to experience it with noone else there ❤️ but the hike would defo be more fun in coller temps haha. Thanks for sharing your experience with us too Robyn 🙏
Ahh you guys! Magic. 🌟 You have such a sweet connection to animals, Ranger starlover Keeley. Olga and Kings canyon next I hope! I was just so stoked for you in this video, I feel like you're acclimatised to the weather a bit more and you've got into a flow with the outback, and you're packing lunch to curb the hangry's. 10 pts. Thanks for posting the imposter Uluru shots and getting excited... bahahahhaaaa. Hilar. Ill catch you next week in the comments, you crazy kids. Stay awesome... I am off to Melbourne this week! Boooooom. 🤘
Awesome! We love Melbourne❤️ enjoy a silky smooth coffee on our behalf please. Yeah our journey via kings canyon does not go well and the heat gets worse 🤣🤣 it was probably the time that broke us that journey beyond uluru.
When I visited Uluru it was pouring with rain and the rock was grey! It rained for the two days we were there. Never saw sunset. The guide kept telling us how lucky we were as most people never see Uluru grey
This was a fun watch 😀 and really nice seeing you experience a place that is so special to us and so many. It’s an indescribable feeling being in Uluru’s presence. Glad you managed okay in the middle of summer! Hectic 😳 We made a video on our trip there too. - Bon & Melissa Ps. Just as a PSA as far as we are aware it’s not legal to camp on the side of the road or at rest stops along that stretch.
Thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed watching ❤️❤️ You are correct you are not allowed to just pull off especially inside the park, but further out the road there are two camping spot lay-bys that are allowed according to the camping apps and there were other people parked there too, so I'm assuming it must be ok 🤞🤞
Hi ya Philly and keely , nice and hot , we are in a heatwave with a Cyclone watch 🌀 up north so be careful if you’re coming this way . A very special place Uluru used to be able to climb the rock and it was called Ayer’s Rock until given back to Aborigines . You never seem to get rid of the red dirt. Take care and stay safe cheers from Qld.🥵🌀⛈️🚐❤❤
Good morning Philly and Keely I’m so glad you made it to Ayres Rock it really is amazing to see it with you guys Keely the camel adorable who knew you would meet up with him but girl you made it up Ben Nevis so I knew you two would make the trek around the rock you were red but had the bonnet and hillbilly hat to save you love you two😘🌺🍺☕️☕️🍀🍀
Goosebumps when I saw 'my Uluru '. Thank you both...and Dingo....for bringing this magnificent sight to me as it is 0 degrees here in Ankara, Turkey. Love you, James ❤❤❤
Awww that's so lovely to hear ❤️ so glad we got to bring it to you 🥰 (and trust me you would prefer the zero to the temps here I'm sure 🤣) Dingo did good getting us there didnt he!
Hiya kiddos!! OMG I love camels! I saw camels 🐪 in Egypt years ago. Your camel looked so friendly and tame. GREAT shot of the eyelashes! You could make a coffee table book out of stills from your videos. That Emu was definitely unpredictable and a little sketchy 😆. What an epic, life-changing experience to see Uluru in person! That sunset was so beautiful with all of the angles and shadows. And the stars ⭐️! That hike looked brutal! Keely I’m so proud of you for doing the hike in such heat. Your poor white Irish ☘️ skin. Glad you were slathering on the sun screen. Who has the best hat? Hard to choose. It’s like apples and oranges. I would choose Keely’s for the cuteness. I love the way your bun is so much a part of the look and it frames your face so nicely. But Philly’s is epic and definitely does a better job of sun protection. Plus he looks like a true adventurer… think Indiana Jones 😂! Ok… I never heard of LPG before. We don’t have that here in the states 🇺🇸. This week’s video went so fast! I couldn’t believe it was already over. You had to leave after only being there one day? Dingo is the 💣! Can’t wait to see where you take us next week! Wishes for safe travels from Southern California 🌴
All emus are sketchy 🤣 camels are sooo cool aren't they! We had a three day pass for the national park, so one day was sunset, one day was the hike and then we wanted to go to another place in the national park too, so that's where we are heading after Uluru itself 🥰
Philly,,, damn cool hat! But Keely making out with the camel and her sunset tears stole the show today. Glad you guys are doing what you planned. Think of how far you have come!! Awesome trip....best of luck and keep cool.
Congratulations on reaching Uluru. Amazing sunset and hike around the base, even though it was a wee bit warm. Phillip your hat is totally cool. Totally brilliant video, many many thanks and best wishes..ps Slemish in Northern Ireland is a bit like our Uluru lol.
Wow, that was great. I'd obviously heard of Aires Rock but didn't know much about it. Looks well worth the trip. I've visited Stone Mountain in Georgia US, which is a similar formation apparently, but the surroundings and the colors here are something else! Keely's face looked really hot at the end, hope you both have a tan by now!!
Honestly this place is on my bucket list, i was really sad when it got closed down i always wanted to hike it. But one day ill have to settle for admiring it from the base.
Another great vlog you two . Uluru is so strange but so cool , Keely not so cool 🥵☀️please be careful you don’t get sunstroke , I’ve had it a couple of times and it is not nice 🥵🫠😩. So glad Dingo got you there ( told you Toyotas or Hondas were the best 😊) hope your cool little van will see you good through all your adventures in Australia . Watching you tonight from Cumbria with an amber warning for gales and possible tornados 🌪️ and plenty of rain . Maybe we could meet with the weather somewhere in the middle 😁 hope you have an awesome week on your travels x
I'll send you a little of our weather and you send us some of yours 😜😜 yeah really trying to be careful not to get heatstroke, I've had it a couple times, really knocks you out. Ps. Possible tornados!!!!! What the heck, stay safe ❤️
Well done for getting there. It looked wonderful. I dream about campervan life every day because at 58 I feel like im on the tail end of life and need some adventure to perk myself up . Safe travels..
We're in our 50s Sharon and saving up for our first motorhome, and we've started to adjust our careers to head towards being able to work nomadically towards retirement. Never too late! Go for it! ❤
I am in the middle of planning a month long trip next year to visit family in Victoria and I had decided not to do Uluru. After watching this I don’t think we can not do it. Amazing vlog guys ❤ xx
It's so special, but if you do go you can just fly to Alice and rent a car for a couple days, easier than driving there and cheaper than going on a tour I imagine. But a tour would be fun too.
@@phillyandkeelyyes I think that makes sense given the limited time we will have there. Thank you for the tip! So excited to drive the Great Ocean Road and get to cuddle my two nephews!! 😊❤
Hi you 2, hubby and I are so glad that you made it to Ayers Rock - how cool! Well done to both of you - you are amazing. Love from the Yorkshire Dales. x
Awww you poor buggers. The heat ruins the experience. But when you feel the energy and the history from Uluru it's life changing. My soul is forever connected ❤ btw everyone falls for "not Uluru"😅
@@phillyandkeely when it pours on the Uluru its even more beautiful....you guys would like wave rock in WA too. Pretty cool. Looking forward to next week
The journey beyond uluru gets pretty treacherous, so deserves a video by itself 🤣 we have more stuff to see around uluru but the roads get bad so that will be in next week's video for ya as we make our way to Alice springs 💪
Regarding the hats. Philly, yours is in the adventure class ie Phillyanna Jones 😂. Keely, you had a look of June Osbourne from the Handmaids Tale 😂. Must have been an emotional experience for you both especially when you were thinking about where you were a few months ago.... You've come a long way baby 💚💚
Great video, you really are living your dream. Looking forward to seeing the the rest of your adventure in the Northern territory. But please watch the heat so as not to get sunstroke. Take care ☘️☘️☘️
🤣🤣 he does love that hat ahha. And yes such a special place! And even though the heat was brutal, I'm so glad we did it in summer cuz noone else was around we felt like we had it all to ourselves.
thanks guys, never seen the rock in so much detail !! has the other rock you saw got a name?, fascinating how they are there in a flat landscape, good on you for driving in all that outback in the heat
I've been wondering if I can still drive a stick shift, it's all I drove up until 2014. That looks like a lot of fun driving that 4 X 4 camper. I use those shower bags all the time in the Summer, they heat up really well. So, that 3 toe footprint, is that an emu? Hope you guys are getting in some good beach time after all that craziness and heat in the Outback, you deserve it. Enjoy!

If you ever go back, or for anyone reading this planning on going, the National Park acturally has indigenous people give walking tours to that area from the car park a couple of times a day FREE of charge. 100% worth doing.
Awww that's so lovely to know about the tours!! I hope others reading this take advantage of that ❤️
You guys got some great footage of Uluru & i hope you enjoyed this sacred place.. And yes, Uluru in heavy rain is spectacular to see. It's a different energy
Yeah such a special place 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for another great video. I am sitting here in USA with my coat on in the house. It has been so cold. 🥶 I am enjoying the warmth from this video…lol. Love to you both.
Thanks so much Carol ❤️ extreme weather all round eh!
Haha Fooluru (Mount Conner) got us too 😂 epic video as always guys, so happy you got to experience Uluru 🧡
Thanks guys ❤️❤️ glad to hear it got you too 🤣🤣🤣hope you are both doing well 🥰🥰
You guys are the sweetest people and love watching your videos ❤
Awe thanks so much Katy ❤️
Love you guys! The whole of the UK is being thrashed by Storm Isha currently, the strongest storm on the planet right now apparently! So you'll be glad you're missing it!
Wow that's nuts! I'm glad I'm missing that then!
i really do share your sense of achievement. amazing to think what you've achieved and how you've achieved it. big congratulations to the chapters
Thanks so much, it felt pretty monumental to make it there in dingo ❤️❤️
That was brilliant. Thank you very much. I loved it. I'm sitting in darkness in Scotland. Power cut! So you've been brilliant company. xx
Oh wow, hope you get your power back soon ❤️ thanks for joining us Hazel 🙏
Ahh you guys! Magic. 🌟
You have such a sweet connection to animals, Ranger starlover Keeley.
Keely and Philly in Scotland the midge tells you when it’s closing time an Australian mozzy is nothing.👍🏴💯
The mosquitoes have nothing on the Scottish midges
Wowzers! Amazing video this week. I climbed Uluru in the 80’s! Thanks for sharing your experience! You two are both amazing!
Thanks so much Teresa ❤️ such a special place!
When I visited Uluru it was pouring with rain and the rock was grey! It rained for the two days we were there. Never saw sunset. The guide kept telling us how lucky we were as most people never see Uluru grey
So interesting! I've heard it's super beautiful when rainy and moody, apparently very special indeed!
@@phillyandkeely I didn’t think so. I wanted to see the stars and sunset and sunrise. Just saw depressing rain and grey rock
🤣🤣 maybe they just tell us that to make us feel better about the greyness that it's rare haha
Interesting bit of history. Charles and Diana climbed it in 1983 when that was still allowed.
That's a fun piece of trivia!
This was a fun watch 😀 and really nice seeing you experience a place that is so special to us and so many. It’s an indescribable feeling being in Uluru’s presence. Glad you managed okay in the middle of summer! Hectic 😳 We made a video on our trip there too. - Bon & Melissa
Ps.
Brilliant that you've made it to Uluru. Superb filming. Take care on the rest of your journey.
Thanks Pamela ❤️❤️
Great to see you there. I hiked it 12 years ago. Pure magic
Totally agree pure magic ❤️❤️
Hi ya Philly and keely , nice and hot , we are in a heatwave with a Cyclone watch 🌀 up north so be careful if you’re coming this way . A very special place Uluru used to be able to climb the rock and it was called Ayer’s Rock until given back to Aborigines . You never seem to get rid of the red dirt. Take care and stay safe cheers from Qld.🥵🌀⛈️🚐❤❤
Thanks so much Barry ❤️❤️ cyclone watch that's nuts, we have decided to retreat to the safety and less extreme weather of Tasmania now haha
Uluru was so cool lovely color of the rock and loved the big camels. Try to stay cool Philly and Keely and thanks for this great views
Thanks so much Annie ❤️
Good morning Philly and Keely I’m so glad you made it to Ayres Rock it really is amazing to see it with you guys Keely the camel adorable who knew you would meet up with him but girl you made it up Ben Nevis so I knew you two would make the trek around the rock you were red but had the bonnet and hillbilly hat to save you love you two😘🌺🍺☕️☕️🍀🍀
Thanks so much Linda, I should use Ben Nevis as my motivation for anything difficult, If I can do Nevis I can do this! 🤣🤣
BIG BOY LENS!!!!
Nice! You guys rock!
Yes we got the lens ❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant video, guys. Looks like you philly ready for a jump in the sea when you find stay safe ❤
We will both be in the sea everyday when reunited with it 🤣
Goosebumps when I saw 'my Uluru '.
What an amazing experience. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope Dingos AC helped cool you down.
Dingos AC is life 🤣🤣
Thank you ❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
There is like Arizona in July
Yeah both extremes aren't they ☀️☀️☀️
Wonderful video this week Philly and Keely the uluru looks very special place!!! Looking forward to catching up again next week!!
Thanks so much Barry ❤️❤️
Keely !I think that first mountain looked like Ben Bulben in Sligo in Ireland. Ha Ha 😺😺🍀🍀💚💚🇮🇪🇮🇪😺😺
Oh yeah I get that comparison 🤣 was such a cool looking rock
Philly,,, damn cool hat! But Keely making out with the camel and her sunset tears stole the show today. Glad you guys are doing what you planned. Think of how far you have come!! Awesome trip....best of luck and keep cool.
Thanks so much Jeffrey ❤️❤️❤️ that camel was sooo lovely 😍
Beautiful footage guys loved it, love you! Oh that red earth makes my heart sing. Great hat Phillie, like yours more Keeley 😂
Thanks so much ❤️the red dirt is so special isn't it
Just amazing! Thank you so much for sharing it ❤
Thanks so much for coming with us ❤️❤️
Congratulations on reaching Uluru. Amazing sunset and hike around the base, even though it was a wee bit warm. Phillip your hat is totally cool. Totally brilliant video, many many thanks and best wishes..ps Slemish in Northern Ireland is a bit like our Uluru lol.
Thanks so much Andy! So chuffed to have made it ❤️❤️
Brilliant. Well done guys. X
Thanks Yvonne ❤️❤️
Wow, that was great. I'd obviously heard of Aires Rock but didn't know much about it. Looks well worth the trip. I've visited Stone Mountain in Georgia US, which is a similar formation apparently, but the surroundings and the colors here are something else! Keely's face looked really hot at the end, hope you both have a tan by now!!
Finally getting our Spanish tan back 🤣🤣 two years later haha
Stunning. Thanks for sharing ❤
And thankyou for joining us ❤️ such a special place
Honestly this place is on my bucket list, i was really sad when it got closed down i always wanted to hike it. But one day ill have to settle for admiring it from the base.
I think the base is the best place to observe it from, you want to look up at it in awe, it's incredible ❤️❤️❤️
What a place, thankyou for sharing, wow ye did it, Stay safe and enjoy the next adventure. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks Lorraine ❤️
Well done for getting there. It looked wonderful. I dream about campervan life every day because at 58 I feel like im on the tail end of life and need some adventure to perk myself up . Safe travels..
Sharon you have lots of life left in you, defo get yourself a campervan it's a great way to travel ❤️❤️❤️
Loved this weeks video - be careful of the UV🧴
Thankyouglad you enjoyed it ❤️❤️ yes trying our best to protect ourselves ☀️☀️
Great vlog guys! Well done for coping so well in the heat 👏
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ it's brutal kind of heat, but the solitude makes up for it
Hi you 2, hubby and I are so glad that you made it to Ayers Rock - how cool! Well done to both of you - you are amazing. Love from the Yorkshire Dales. x
Aww thanks so much Jane ❤️❤️ such an amazing place
Awww you poor buggers. The heat ruins the experience. But when you feel the energy and the history from Uluru it's life changing. My soul is forever connected ❤ btw everyone falls for "not Uluru"😅
Ok that makes me feel alot better that we aren't the only people to think that was uluru 🤣🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely when it pours on the Uluru its even more beautiful....you guys would like wave rock in WA too. Pretty cool. Looking forward to next week
That was lovely guys, great to see the rock close up like that, hate it when the video ends like... what's next?!
The journey beyond uluru gets pretty treacherous, so deserves a video by itself 🤣 we have more stuff to see around uluru but the roads get bad so that will be in next week's video for ya as we make our way to Alice springs 💪
We have all seen that first and been excited lol
🤣🤣 that makes me feel better about myself haha
Thank you for sharing your experience 😸
Thanks for joining us on our experience ❤️
Regarding the hats. Philly, yours is in the adventure class ie Phillyanna Jones 😂. Keely, you had a look of June Osbourne from the Handmaids Tale 😂.
Must have been an emotional experience for you both especially when you were thinking about where you were a few months ago.... You've come a long way baby 💚💚
June Osbourne 🤣🤣🤣 you always make us laugh, looking forward to hanging out soon bro, only a couple months till we are back in UK 💪
@@phillyandkeely You and me both guys 💚💚
Great video, you really are living your dream. Looking forward to seeing the the rest of your adventure in the Northern territory. But please watch the heat so as not to get sunstroke. Take care ☘️☘️☘️
Thanks so much Susan ❤️❤️ trying my best not to get sunstroke, it's so darn hot here
The outback can be a powerful place, I'm glad it didn't disappoint. ... neither does that hat! Travel safe.
🤣🤣 he does love that hat ahha. And yes such a special place! And even though the heat was brutal, I'm so glad we did it in summer cuz noone else was around we felt like we had it all to ourselves.
Brilliant as usual. Love you guys 👍😘
Thanks so much Dianne ❤️
Being here in n.ireland and enjoying your time there is the ticket 😅love you guys have a good week... take care 🍀👍😊
Thanks so much ❤️ when I complain about the heat our family send us pics of back home weather to make us feel better 🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely 😂😂😂🥶 lol
Its funny how you feel about Uluru. As an Australian, thats how i felt about Stone Henge.
That's cool that we both had similar experiences in eachothers countries ❤️❤️
I found your channel about a week ago and binging from your Aussie van build. Love you guys.
Thankyou so much ❤️
Great vid guys. Ularu, awesome. ❤
Yeah really was so special ❤️
Amazing sights…. Stay safe ❤
Thanks Rose ❤️❤️
Wow, I need to google that Little Rock, learn more about it. Looks amazing. Maybe one day
🪨🪨
thanks guys, never seen the rock in so much detail !! has the other rock you saw got a name?, fascinating how they are there in a flat landscape, good on you for driving in all that outback in the heat
Mount Conner (or Fuluru as it makes a fool of tourist mistaking it for uluru 🤣🤣)
😂😂😂
I've been wondering if I can still drive a stick shift, it's all I drove up until 2014. That looks like a lot of fun driving that 4 X 4 camper. I use those shower bags all the time in the Summer, they heat up really well. So, that 3 toe footprint, is that an emu? Hope you guys are getting in some good beach time after all that craziness and heat in the Outback, you deserve it. Enjoy!
Reckon it is an emu, I'm sure you could drive stick, it's like second nature, I way prefer it to automatic 💪
Great vlog thank you .
Thanks Louisa ❤️❤️
Safe travel guys! Love your videos, enjoy life 🎉🙂
Thanks so much ❤️❤️ really appreciate that 🙏
Lots of camels to be seen when you get to W.A. esp on Cable Beach in Broome!
❤️❤️❤️
