The governments worst nightmare. Living simply and sufficiently off the land. Not wanting for much and growing your own food and being sustainable. This is how we should all live. Shame the government make it so hard to live like this.
My girl's are rescues. I rescued the big one in june 2020 as she was rearing 11 pups on her own. All the pup's got homes and then in September of 2022 i took on the little one who needed rehoming. How could i refuse her the chance to be back with her mum who she hadn't seen for over 2 year's

I am in my 70th year and have been diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. however I feel that owning a simple connection to ourselves through the natural world is just about the best medicine there is. Enforcement tried to bully us into moving off of our land. There's always a workaround. What an adventure for my kids and animals. Wouldn't change it. The freeist feeling you'll ever feel within the invisible prison walls. If you get a chance, do it, don't just talk about it.

What a wonderfully rich life Kevin leads. He really does have it all (almost....I am sure a good woman is on her way to him). That aside, the planning laws and redistribution of land must be changed and implimented in the UK. Land ownership is out of reach for most people and corporate/historical titled and family possession is not fit for the 21st century. Many young and older people want to live in different ways and without access to European cheap land since Brexit, UK soil needs to be redistributed much more fairly and openly. Being free to build your own dwelling without all of the restrictions and planning barriers also needs to be rethought. Is there a movement in the UK to support/advocate for these changes?

As a f/t gardener, I have grown my own tobacco and once cured is amazing to smoke. No chemicals and you will lose the cough from tailor made cigs. Each plant produces millions of tiny ( teeny weeny) seeds so is self sustainable. My dog is my rock, buddy and the bond we have is unbreakable. Although I'm married and have a 11 year old son at home, the countryside is where my heart is at. This guy is living my dream 👌👍
I admire this man a lot. I am 73 and very happy with my Mrs. in Thailand for 1/3 of the cost of living in the USA. Never will go back I am in Paradise.

Term I use is "being amongst trees" .. I do outdoor work for various people in wales and a single special feature is that there are a lot of people with little wealth but they have an acre or 3 or 7 and maybe with some woodland .. so it's humble people and nature together .. its a great combo

Hi Sarah, I just read your comment I’m working on a program with a partner to show people how to do this, but effectively you can start off with a minimum of 12.5 acres (5 ha) and you will be able to get the ball rolling if you have a mind to set up a small holding. there’s more to it than just that, but that is the starting point. We are 2/3 of the way through proving our system and will set up a youtube channel and podcast soon. Keep going you WILL Achieve your dreams 😊😊😊😊😊

More shade than sunlight, 12ftx16ft cabin I've lived in for 4 years, just doubled the size last summer. Anyway, Thank you for showing your ways and sharing the view! We benefit deeply in living so close to the land.
My mate tried this and natural england came for him, ordered him to move his static caravan off the land even tho he owned it outright and threatened court ect, he ended up having to sell up

This is a lovely way to live, and fair play to this man for achieving his dreams. Having said that, whilst he seems a nice man, there does appear to be some form of arrogance whilst that might come as a shock to some, he seems to be suggesting the way he lives is the best way, its the right way.... especially when he starts saying one step back to one step forward..... actually I could not lead his life because I am useless with my hands, he has man made the majority of his things, not everyone has that gift, he does accept he is fortunate, which he is, but he has had to work for it no doubt about that, but not everyone is blessed with that talent, so my way of living might be seen to him as extreme, but I think it is important to understand the value that EVERYONE brings to the world, not just one way of living...... Good for him though again for achieving his dreams, and leading a life that he is happy with. :)

Term I use is "being amongst trees" .. I do outdoor work for various people in wales and a single special feature is that there are a lot of people with little wealth but they have an acre or 3 or 7 and maybe with some woodland .. so it's humble people and nature together .. its a great combo

Hi Sarah, I just read your comment I’m working on a program with a partner to show people how to do this, but effectively you can start off with a minimum of 12.5 acres (5 ha) and you will be able to get the ball rolling if you have a mind to set up a small holding. there’s more to it than just that, but that is the starting point. We are 2/3 of the way through proving our system and will set up a youtube channel and podcast soon. Keep going you WILL Achieve your dreams 😊😊😊😊😊

Yes you very right our Gov's don't like people like us " I've been 100% off grid for about 11 years now & would never trade my Freedom for anything , Piece quiet & just take in life with "Mother Nature " Cool to see & he grows his own tobacco too ! I grew my own in northern Canada & it grows well but like he said it is a lot of work"

I'm on the west coast of the USA, Near eugene, Oregon. More shade than sunlight, 12ftx16ft cabin I've lived in for 4 years, just doubled the size last summer.
Anyway, Thank you for showing your ways and sharing the view! We benefit deeply in living so close to the land.
My mate tried this and natural england came for him, ordered him to move his static caravan off the land even tho he owned it outright and threatened court ect, he ended up having to sell up

He said about "my time" but working harder.....
Working harder for his self support......
Not getting up in morning to work for government.....
I so see his ways, I'm turning 50 soon and I'm sick of working for others not work for your self.

This is a lovely way to live, and fair play to this man for achieving his dreams. Having said that, whilst he seems a nice man, there does appear to be some form of arrogance whilst that might come as a shock to some, he seems to be suggesting the way he lives is the best way, its the right way.... especially when he starts saying one step back to one step forward..... actually I could not lead his life because I am useless with my hands, he has man made the majority of his things, not everyone has that gift, he does accept he is fortunate, which he is, but he has had to work for it no doubt about that, but not everyone is blessed with that talent, so my way of living might be seen to him as extreme, but I think it is important to understand the value that EVERYONE brings to the world, not just one way of living...... Good for him though again for achieving his dreams, and leading a life that he is happy with. :)
I found Kevin channel first and I thought it was my kind of person. BUT then I watched this and I so wanna meet him and hug him. Such a legend xxx
