G’day, welcome to Tassie! Just so that you know, all of the snakes in Tasmania are on the ten most venomous list. Don’t poke snakes in Tassie. Just don’t. Just leave them alone and give them a very wide berth. Be safe, be well!
Yeah soooo beautiful ❤️ we have filmed a ridiculous amount of footage while in Tasmania, so I reckon 5 weeks of travel will be like 8 vlogs 🤣 so mad ahead on videos now 🤪🤪
Hobart/nipaluna city is in the rain shadow of our mountain Mt Wellington/ kunanyi that's why so dry. I live on the other side south of the mountain so much more rain.
Making a shower is so easy. Just get a 25 litre water container and hose, the most important thing is the holeman industrial spray gun ( garden sprayer) from Bunnings, the holeman gives so much more pressure and is a one squeeze multiple flow. And just secure the water container on the roof permanently and the gravity does the rest. It’s just like having your own garden tap. Perfect for showers, washing up washing hands. Have 10 little water bottles from Coles as refills after you drink them. Spent two and a half years living in a van are never went without a shower. Couldn’t have done with out it
Great recommendation! We will look into one of these for a van back home, we also don't have a shower in it, almost five years of vanlife with no shower 😂😂 🚿🚿 but we LOVE nature swims, it's good for the soul ❤️
I thought of you guys when I watched Travel Beans this morning. They had their van broken into in Spain...how awful! It was a rental van, but still, their temporary home was violated. You guys continue to keep a good watch on things. Oh, I like that idea of going to the center of every country you travel through, you're on a roll now already. So beautiful there with all the trees and that lovely lake, thanks for sharing these places with us. You guys take care now.....and don't run out of food.😄
I absolutely love Tasmania to the point that I’ve been going there every summer from QLD to get out of the heat, I’ve been there 6 times now for 5 months at a time, never get sick of the place, always some where different to do, weather permitting. So glad you’re both enjoying it. Love your videos. Thanks you.
I have no idea why...but Tasmania does not look how i imagined, but it certainly is very beautiful. I know you both come from Ireland which again is a very beautiful place.... we live near Liverpool and have often visited Ireland but we are hoping to go again soon to explore the west coast. One of our favourite things about Ireland is the people because they are so friendly. and welcoming. No wonder you two are so engaging to watch here on youtube!
I had heard similar to Ireland, so was imagining it to be a lot flatter and fields. Not so rich and diverse and grand. Its a small island so I expected it to feel small, but it felt Jurassic ❤️❤️❤️ ancient and wild and wonderful.
@@phillyandkeely It is a beautiful place. Parts are reminiscent of the Scottish highlands I think. We've been through months of minimal rainfall so it wasn't as green as normal in this video. Tasmania is about the same size as Ireland.

Welcome to Tassie, mighty glad you’re enjoying our beautiful state! Randomly found you guys here on TH-cam a couple of weeks ago … what a find! So far I’ve enjoyed your mainland Australia videos, mystical Scotland and, of course, Tassie. Excited to watch more: loving your outlook on life, the simple joy and humour found in every situation. PS: I looovvveee baked beans on toast but please do treat yourselves to some of our great food, there are wonderful artisan foodies all around the state. Wonder if you’re coming to the far North West (check out Stanley). Cheers & thank you.
Sounds like you found them at the same time I did, must have been because they started travelling down here in Tas 😁 I’ve been going back through all their videos as well. Such fun & genuine people to watch.
Thanks so much Kim ❤️❤️ so glad you found us! Isn't Scotland so like Tasmania! I think that's why we love them both so much, so full of natures beauty 🥰🥰
Hi guys you are amazing finding places we didn’t find on our holidays to Tasmania. The first time I went to Tasmania we were there over the Christmas holidays and we were there for 3 weeks had 4 days dry and the rest it rained it even snowed up on Mt Wellington, it was 9 deg Celsius on Christmas Day. The next time we were there for 4 weeks and we had perfect weather. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip to Tasmania. Lots of Love and prayers 😊🏝🦋💖🦮🙏🏻 Safe travels
Sometimes camp grounds are a bit basic and the mobile reception can be sketchy but hey I will take it best place on earth... just a heads up too I know it's tempting to pull up and look at animals crossing the road but be careful being a truck driver in tas I don't know how many times I've nearly killed people pulled up to take pictures especially on the west coast...
Thankfully wasn't as bad as predicted heading to Ballyliffin Donegal on Monday to celebrate 52 years married on 15/04/24. Looking forward to seeing your video 🤗👍💚
I know this came out a few months ago but i live very close by where you parked near the harbour . The area is called goodwood. I also recall seeing you two there as thats the spout i go to have lunch now and then. Its so nice sitting there watching the world go by.

I used to work at the Lake Margaret power station on the west coast and I was responsible among other things for taking and reporting the rainfall and lake levels and I can confirm that fact about Tasmania's rainfall. We might get plenty of rainy days but the volume is very low compared to other parts of Australia.
Great video guys. Just love listening to Keely laughing, you both make a great couple. Loving the Australian adventure. Happy Easter. Take care and stay safe.😊

Thank you so much. ❤ BTW south pacific bees are not ao agressive, they move off pretty quick if you wave your hands at them. ..and was that a bee floating by after your swim @ 16:47 ? Love you ..
Might be European wasps too. Bit of a problem here in Tassie. I live in the southern midlands and hardly see bees at all. See a few Bumble Bees but that's all.
Loved the video my husband watched it with me this time and really enjoyed it. Tasmania is really beautiful and it's easy to see that you are both so happy on this part of the trip. Videos are very professional and keep getting better. Loved it looking forward to next week already. Will be watching from Galway as we are away for a few days 🤗🥰💚
Loving your humour. Other than Tasmania I have lived 10 years in northern Queensland in Mackay. If one likes the bush and coast line there is so much more to see here. My mum at 85 has spent her life in Tasmania spending a lot of time bushwalking and sightseeing and has not seen it all. When I finish watching the Australian videos I am going to go back to watch your videos from the beginning. Pity we did not get to meet.
Nice walk Ian through Cheddar Village, Visited the Gorge a couple of years ago and the views are stunning. We are really enjoying your vlog adventures with Skye. Looking forward to seeing those amazing views again.
OMG what numpties we are... we've sent the wrong comment to the wrong people! It was supposed to go to someone else 😊 We'll be watching your vlog tonight! Whoops! Xx
I did think so, it actually happens quite a bit cuz TH-cam might autoplay next video while you are trying to write comment to the one you just watched haha, always cute to see who else people watch! But we too are excited for seeing the amazing views of Scotland again 🤪❤️
Yes, I court up with your videos in tassie. I hope you get to Port Arthur it's a big part of Australian history. If not, there's a great blow hole at eaglehawk neck the road to Port Arthur, and back a few years ago, I was there. I went to a funny named town with funny names of streets or houses. im sure you guys would get a kick out of it. Stay safe, guys. I can't wait for the next video ❤ ps stick around tassie long enough. There will be snow, lol
I was only thinking about you both and what time was you going to post and low and behold...😁 Loved the content as per... You've done so much in your 26yrs....who would have thought 😂 I was just thinking. With Philly being Magneto, did you really need solar panels? Regarding the Geo centres, have you done any in the UK? Think it's a great idea though...let's have a geo centre race, in the style of Captain Scott and Admunsen...see who gets there 1st...😂😂. You up for it Simba and Pumba 😂.... See you next week guys 💚💚
OMG you guys are in Tassie? How cool, that's where I grew up, sorry I've been busy and need to catch up therefore I haven't seen your vids yet so this might be too late. So, I lived in Tunbridge and went to school in Oatlands. If you get to Tunbridge go up the Tier road. North of there is at the really old town of Ross (founded 1812 it's one of the oldest towns in Tas) lots of old stuff there, then to Oatlands, an old convict town in the middle (east), go check out the windmill, distillery behind, school, the Kentish (pub) and RSL for a great meal, the museum, and park at Lake Dulverton camp site, see the topiary animals (you might like those Keely) and you could get a dip there too I reckon. Should you get there and fancy doing a fan a favour, grab a pic outside 37, High Street (house set back with gable windows and a fountain in front) we used to own that and my father did the renovations such as the windows and extension out the back, in around 1982. Awww so jealous, enjoy your time there guys X 🥰☺👍

Cool idea, center of each country!!! Well, when you get back to Japan, it’s a town in Nagano, Tatsuno, it’s a pretty location!!!
Yesss that would be awesome to see ❤️🇯🇵
I'm still with you from Townsville! Amazing videos as always and, yes, go to the centre of everywhere that you visit! What a great idea. Keep smiling and laughing, it makes my day.

@@phillyandkeely 😆👏😊😄
I love how you love your food Keely 😊
Food is good for the soul ❤️❤️❤️
Philly and Keely love ❤your videos of Tasmania I'm glad you had fun in Tasmania
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 we've been loving our time here
I just started watching you guys. You should do Launceston Tasmania
❤️❤️❤️
Happy Easter to you both! Also where you are at in the last part looks like Ireland or somewhere on the English coast! Lol..
I know really does! We think lots of Tasmania is like Scotland/Ireland
@@phillyandkeely yes true!
That swim looked amazing and I am loving the Tasmania adventure. Cheers Richie.
Thanks so much Richie 🥰🥰
You guys are a real joy to watch thanks for the fun vlog. Tasmania looks amazing and warm. Don’t change anything you do. ❤
Thanks so much 🥰🥰
Nice one
Thanks Veronica ❤️
So our way of eating is usually described as “eating like barnyard animals” 😂
😂😂😂
Danke!
Thanks so much 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much.
Yes that was a bee floating by!! 🤣 We noticed that ourselves when editting, had a wee chuckle that he was back haha. He didn't seem aggressive ❤️❤️
I feel lucky then because I'm pretty sure it was a little fuzzy bee 🥰🥰 if it was a wasp I would not have been calling him friend 🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely Yes, I guess you've seen those wasps heaps in other countries.
Oh wow lovely! Galway is where we had our honeymoon ❤️ beautiful area!
Salthill gorgeous 👌👍
So pretty there!
So beautiful 🥰🥰
Yes! You could spend at least a couple of months driving around the US, going to the geographical center of every contiguous state! 🤪
That sounds like fun!
Awww thanks so much Susan ❤️❤️ Tasmania is such a special place
You are deffinately an inspiration keely. Taking looks beautiful, enjoy x😊
Thanks so much 🥰🥰
Nice walk Ian through Cheddar Village, Visited the Gorge a couple of years ago and the views are stunning. We are really enjoying your vlog adventures with Skye. Looking forward to seeing those amazing views again.
Oh yes can't wait to get back to Scotland, that's the plan for May❤️
OMG what numpties we are... we've sent the wrong comment to the wrong people!
It was supposed to go to someone else 😊
We'll be watching your vlog tonight! Whoops! Xx
I did think so, it actually happens quite a bit cuz TH-cam might autoplay next video while you are trying to write comment to the one you just watched haha, always cute to see who else people watch! But we too are excited for seeing the amazing views of Scotland again 🤪❤️
Wow guys loving you vlogs, have you not seen a Tasmanian devil 😈 lol . That would be pretty amazing 😮 well happy travels stay safe ❤️
That would be sooooo amazing!!!
Another great video guys, you two are such a lovely couple and always brighten up our day. Take care and look forward to next week’s video👍
Thanks so much Martyn ❤️❤️
Tasmania turns out to be as beautiful as challenging 😅
Very beautiful 🥰
@@phillyandkeely then it is all worth it. And so is the adventure.
Very wise words, thank you
❤️
It’s too cold in Tassie for can living in the months of may to September
Yeah travelling around Australia is definitely dictated by the seasons!
Yesss we go to the blow hole, it will be in next week's video 💪💪 such an incredibly beautiful area 😍😍
@phillyandkeely and, if possible, go there when the tides coming in might see why they call it a blow hole
I was only thinking about you both and what time was you going to post and low and behold...😁
Loved the content as per...
You've done so much in your 26yrs....who would have thought 😂
I was just thinking.
We are up for anything 😂😂 love love Manc ❤️
@@phillyandkeely Yaaaaayyyy, let's do this. Well, when I can drive again 😂😂. 💚💚
Welcome back 🥰🥰 hope you are well and have been busy with good things 💪💪we are long out of the area now, but if we are ever back in Tassie we will defo check these out 🥰🥰
@@phillyandkeely Hey. Sorry for delay, been busy again 🙄Haha, I figured you would be but worth a mention. Yeah for sure you should, it's a beautiful area
