    I’ve doubled my PS knowledge after just reading your free guide for 5 minutes.
    Although I have used layer masks once or twice, I find that constant reinforcement is needed for it to be “locked in” somewhere in my head.
    ( I’m 73… it takes an effort. Lol!)
    I really appreciate your openness in sharing your knowledge here.

    Your explanation was 🤌, from watching my professor's video (I'm in design school) and another youtubers video for probably 40 minutes and being beyonndddddd frustrated, to watching your video for less than 4 minutes and figuring out what I was trying to do!!! Thank you so much!!

    Thank you. A thousand times thank you. I am a children's picture book author and I engaged an illustrator for the images. But I don't want a book full of rectangular images. You have empowered me to shape the images I want. You have a new subscriber.

    A fantastic video Brendan. Even though I subscribe to Adobes Photography Plan I struggle with Photoshop, finding it complicated and intimidating. At least this fantastic video explains Layer Masks to me now though, so a big thank you.

  • @hunterbost2115

    @BrendanWilliamsTutorials - great video and learned a lot. Quick technical question -- I am trying to use a gradient on my adjustment layer mask for a selection and cannot seem to get the gradient to work properly. In other words, I make a selection, then add an adjustment layer to that selection. If I want to "fade in" (or "out") that adjustment (brightness, eg.) on the selection ONLY, I would think I could add a black to white gradient to the layer mask so that the adjustment gradually reveals/conceals.
    Even with the mask selected, this does not seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks for a great channel.

    Great post! Simple, efficient and to the point! 🙌 Question: do you have a video explaining how to use the "image size" window? Most videos out there on YT are confusing and bad! :) Thanks in advance!

    • @BrendanWilliamsTutorials
      @BrendanWilliamsTutorials  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't have anything specifically about the image size window, but I do talk about it a fair bit in my "how to convert low to high res in Photoshop" tutorial I created a while ago.

    Well done. However, it was a bit too quick-moving in the last couple minutes so will try watching the "selection" methods in the other video you mentioned. A link is included below I hope. Thanks.

    I am having trouble creating a tumbler mockup from scratch. I have taken pictures of the tumbler but getting the smart object to work on all 3 images to wrap around is where I am stuck. It’s a new 40oz tumbler which I can not find mockups for anywhere.
