Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Safe Class object, SCP-4595 WITCH Animation.
SCP 4595 is a small room in a woodshed behind an abandoned house near Jasper, Indiana. SCP4595 contains a single wooden bench and, at the time of discovery, a small shovel\ and the skeleton of an adolescent human male. The ground next to the skeleton appears to have been scorched at some time in the past. The exterior of the door is marked with the word WITCH written in charcoal.

It's nice that Dr. Bob shows respect to the SCP by laying flowers on top of her burial spot.
That's why I really like Dr. Bob. He adds a lot of heart to it with the story accounts and the way he approaches it in general.

damn, the story was kinda sad though. The boy just wanted to help someone he thought was in danger.
But he should have thought “if it was the girl, there’s no way she would properly be alive since she would have been there for a long time.” Plus if it was a burial why would he dig her up? That would be disrespectful no matter how she died. Which is probably why they die when they try to dig her up.
He's the son of the Man who buried the Girl in the first place.
She called him to strike at the one who buried her alive, to punish the ones who left her to die in that Hole.

Theory: the witch is a very powerful entity trapped there by some spell or something deterring anyone from releasing her. She’s also still alive down there possibly and can only use dreams to try and reach out to people to free her
I don’t think she wants to be freed, why would the boy’s lungs be full of locus, and why would he be itchy? It started when he ended up trying to dig her up. I theorize she’s luring people out to try to get revenge. There is a chance she does want to be released but if you harm the body while digging her up you get punished in some way but that seems unlikely.

@@asexualidiot1022 theory 1. She uses dreams to contact people or maybe just children in the county or state(didn't say the range of her power) to come help her. Perhaps she doesn't even know what's happening to them and she thinks they just give up. Theory 2. She lures people to their death through the dreams by "needing to be saved" but when they come to try and save her she fills them with locust (I think) that consume them feeding her and giving her more power to escape herself.
But personally I like theory 1 because there's enough Scp entities that just wanna murder you to escape already.

@@theshermantanker7043 in case the SCP is very flexible about who disturbed the grave. If it's the last living person in line, then it should affect the D-Class rather than whoever wrote the code. Same issue would apply with a robot.
Essentially it's creating a human buffer.

Visited the actual SCP article page, and I found that it’s surprisingly low-rated (& the article itself is pretty barebones as well).
It just goes to show that this channel is a powerhouse in storytelling in its own right, as that intro worked perfectly in setting up the SCP while adding to its mystique and simultaneously giving nothing away. I personally feel that that intro should be the official tie-in Tale to this SCP! 😄

I would have thought this a euclid class because the shed has to be guarded while a safe class is something that you can just put in a box and it's effectively neutralized.
The box is the fence with security guards.
And the anomalous effect isn’t exactly “neutralized”, just safely out of view of the public. (And considering how the anomalous effects are limited to the walls of the shed, we can safely day that this is very much the case.)
I was about to say this is the Halloween episode, but the same could also be said for more than half of the foundation.

I know this is all fictional but I want to know more about Dr. Bob's backstory I like how he has a connection to every SCP and seemed to care about this witch

They could send in a drone/robot to dig the body up aswell. They dont have organs and I doubt that the controlling person outside would experience effects

This SCP has a strong resemblance to a Lovecraft story known as The Shunned House. I wonder if it inspired this lovecraftian story.

I love the narration of these. It's so smooth, and sounds like a real documentary narration and not a dramatic reading like some other scp narrators I've heard. Also dig the animations.
Additional classifications? I've never seen those, interesting. I should dig more into the scp classification system. By the way I'd really love if you make a video about an scp with a non-common classification, like neutralized, explained or even apollion

Somehow, this SCP made me incredibly sad. It reminds me of someone I used to know with a very similar look, who also practiced witchcraft and would absolutely haunt the fuck out of anyone that disturbed her grave.

Ok fellas, I didn't think about this one but maybe the SCP foundation doesn't want to mess with the grave just in case it happens a similar thing that happened to the teleporting chair.
The thing is, the scp foundation might probably not want to dig up the grave. It was buried for a reason. Whatever that reason is, it would seem that not digging up the grave didn't change society or reality in any way. And seeing the various other anomalies that the scp foundation has, i don't think they would want to risk it.

I wondered the same thing. The article doesn’t mention any such attempt. If I had to guess, the Foundation has probably elected to leave a Safe class anomaly alone rather than unearth it and accidentally turn it into a Keter.

Pretty clever to start the video with an "I know what you did last summer " reference. But, considering this is a collection of cognitohazardous thoughts, and involves a young girl probably demanding revenge, that makes this dangerous.
Although, those cognitohazards are probably the lulling tactics it uses to fake a cry for help, when they are just warnings.
But why Locusts though? They could easily be filled with dirt and have it be that? Did they have locusts as pets at one point?
But I will say this though, It is very nice of Doc Bob to plant flowers at her grave as an act of mercy.
What would happen if the shack thing gets blown up with enough strength to create a crater? Hmmm...

I don't see why they wouldn't use machines to excavate her. The Foundation has completely autonomous digging robots who could do it
Maybe this would be a good tale. The robots are rendered completely useless after being filled with millions of locusts, but they DID succeed. They successfully free her and she becomes an interesting member of the foundation after a long period of psychological and physical treatment in containment. Perhaps she'd even end up as a professional thaumaturgist for the foundation, finding her true calling.
