Interesting to see all of these stacked up against one another. I drink lots of coffee, and I only drink black coffee when brewing home coffee. I typically drink drip coffee and I drink a lot of mass produced consumer level coffee (McCafe usually). I don't mind a lot of cheaper ground coffee that you can find at any grocery store, but the little instant coffee I've tried I have not been a fan of. I bought that same Folgers instant coffee a few months ago just so we could make whipped Dalgona coffee. I could not stand it. For me it was extremely bitter and had a really artificial sweet flavor to it. If I was rating the Folgers out of 10, I'd give it a 3 maybe.
International coffee's ☕ the one you bought by accident has silicone dioxide in it which is poisonous,I used to buy it all the time when I was in my twenties and thirties,untill I read the ingredients,and was shocked and stopped buying it immediately.
My favorite is the Nescafe, best tast and they use sustainability produced high quality coffee beans from sustainability focused coffee farmers. For the fair priced coffees. Mt Hagan from Germany is the Best instant coffee out there but is more expensive.

Folgers instant tastes like what I imagine motor oil would taste like that.
I like Folgers once in a while, its priced right when money is tight. My motor oil was Maxwell House instant.

I agree with you on the Nescafe. I haven't tried the Mt Hagan yet, though I have read others say how great it is.
On taster's choice you would of got a better flavor if it was French roast
Starbucks makes the best instant by FAR. Nescafe used to be good, but changed. Folgers is weak flavored no matter how much you use.
Clearly you dislike dark roasts. Your two #2 ratings would be my top two here.
