เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 5 มิ.ย. 2019
Jay Arr is passionate about everything coffee. What began as a simple interest in the history, production, and brewing of coffee led him to a job as a barista at a national coffee chain. That’s not where Jay’s story with coffee ends, however. Roasting and brewing day in and out, he continued to gather knowledge about all things coffee.
Today, Jay aims to share his knowledge and get others excited about coffee-from cappuccinos to pour-overs to Turkish. From reviews of popular coffee drinks, to informational posts on the ecology of the coffee plant, to step-by-step guides on troubleshooting bad flavor, this page (and its blog) is here to help you foster your knowledge about-and your love for-coffee. At JayArr Coffee, a particular focus of ours is single origin coffee. We want to help you find an origin that matches your preferences in acidity, body, and flavor notes!

7 Popular Grind and Brew Drip Coffee Makers REVIEWED: A Buying Guide
มุมมอง 55K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Although purchasing pre-ground coffee is convenient, it doesn’t produce the same fresh flavor that freshly ground coffee has. Beans that have been freshly ground have a more complete, full-bodied in contrast to pre-ground blends, which just can’t be as fresh. By grinding right before you brew, you can capture all of the aromas before they have a chance to dissipate- some of which dissipate with...

Hey Einstein! How much damage to the environment is done by making a metal filter?
Excellent review

"What is Geish Coffee?" ITS GESHA, from Ethiopia... Over-Educated-Morons. GESHA came from GESHA region in ETHEOPIA, then exported to C.America and S.America
64 ounces is not 1 gallon, it's a half gallon.
Its all about the ingredients not the taste, taste is subjective,
Aldi coffee is very good. I like the fair trade breakfast blend.
Would there be a difference in water for difference brewing methods? I would think espresso water and filter water would not be interchangeable. What are your thoughts? Thank you so much for such a great video. 😊
My gosh. How much can you get wrong?
My friend made this for me and it was really good!
Yeah. I have the Ethiopian Embassy on line 1. They want a word...
If something lasts about 1 years/500 filters used as cold brew, 10 minutes of BOILING it will drastically reduce that. Website says “economical” except it isn’t. It is overpriced, more than double the price of 500 filters and boiling it will, again, drastically reduce how long it lasts if simply cold brewing is expected to only get a year before it is breaking down. How much does it shed into your coffee before it is spent? Nah, I guess I will keep using stainless steel rumble jar that is easy to clean & will last as long as its silicone lid does? I do not know what else to do. So I will do that. Nothing else is remotely as easy or economical.
Lasts 1 year… 500 filters… I can get 500 filters for less than 7 dollars.
How do you CLEAN it? I like CLEAN stuff, how do you CLEAN it? I use a rumble jar but I have to filter it after. I would like to skip that step.

Who is the voice actor? Ai?
Baking soda is ok temporarily but not long term. I really agree with the egg shells over the baking soda. Seems to be a much safer method.
I was having my morning coldbrew which was a little too acidic (day old) and I happened to have a cold diet cream soda among my sodas for the work day. I thought, shit, why not? My coworkers looked on in a range of mild discomfort to horror as I then chugged and burped my way through a damn mediocre coffee. Not half bad, friends. Not half bad.
Our stomach acid should be VERY acidic. Silly to think that we should try to have higher ph coffee.
who cares about the packaging? I just wanted to see which company has the best brew. you didn't even try the aeropress company version so the comparisons are not complete.
Ironically that same acid reducer thing that you recommended is $36 on Amazon and one person on the Amazon review set to take a half a size of the tums and put it in your coffee but maybe try the peppermint version because I don't want my coffee to taste fruity. I'm considering doing that method when I get the chance.
Can you make a list?
Starbucks makes the best instant by FAR. Nescafe used to be good, but changed. Folgers is weak flavored no matter how much you use.
I put lighter fluid in mine and that was a terrible idea
the lid of the contigo is so hard to wash thoroughly even in the dishwasher, Ill never buy one of these again
You didn't show how to clean it afterwards.
Ethiopians are great for people who like light roast coffees. Most people prefer a medium roast because that produces a traditional coffee flavor. If you don't like fruity and floral coffees you probably won't like Ethiopian coffee. Try Guatemalan instead, they are more nutty and chocolaty.
Youre full of 💩
You either sound extremely like WATOP or it's an Ai producing the voice
Its confusing me. I am Indonesian and we are not know what is Indonesian coffee. We call our coffee by its region. So therr is no Indonesian cooffee. We have Mandhailing, Deli, Lampung, Gayo, Toraja, flores, java, etc. And all is very different
How about coffee from Vietnam which is the number two export country coffee in the world?
Best Cafe ever and chocolate on planet Earth 🙂❤
Affordable choice, thanks.
This is great information, Thank you!
This produces cold brew concentrate, you're not supposed to drink it straight 😅😅
I have owned my yeti for nearly 4 years, it is as good now as the day I got it. Heat retention is very good but I drink fast and hard so don't really give it a chance to cool down much. The sliding magnetic tab is brilliant for easy removal and cleaning. Confident it will last another 4 years.
Why bother then just use a mug 😂😂
Love Guatemalan coffee, you can see the whole process from plant to cup here too!: th-cam.com/video/qdJHRwjxBds/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lBkWv2UtnKeiljt_
It’s literally a tiny piece of paper
I’ve had an aeropress for maybe 15 years and an Able metal filter for nearly 10 yrs. I quit using the metal filter because of the fine grounds that got through. I prefer using the inverted method for more control by not allowing the drip through. I decided recently to try a paper filter under the metal filter with the AP in the upright position. Bingo! Almost no drip through. I can make more coffee at a time because the upright position holds more water. I can stir to the bottom against the metal filter with a chop stick(misplaced my original AP stirrer). The paper filter is not very dirty and easily rinsed off and reused.
Is there a Kenyan coffee that starts off using the DRY or NATURAL process, and finishes with the HONEY process?
Is there an Ethiopian coffee that starts off using the DRY or NATURAL process, and finishes with the HONEY PROCESS?
No, the honey process is because the mucilage is left on during the drying process.
@@DwFritz23 Isn't the MUCILAGE on the coffee beans WHAT is fermented during the Honey Process? Also I was told that the Natural and the Honey Process are really one and the same - is this true?
EcoVessel Trimax?
I’m going to have to deduct a point because you’re not using a burr grinder! Amateur move there!
How can we take this guy seriously about coffee when he’s using s blade grinder? Deduct all the points.
Helps ya poop too. This is a double whammy stomach irritant lol
You can't wear something better to do a video than an underwear T-shirt?
I just inherited a 90 year old stovetop siphon my grandmother got on her wedding day. I am hooked! It makes my home grown herb teas amazing!
What seems to work is to mix egg shells into the ground coffee during brewing. Give it a try...it is free and has no elevated blood pressure issues as does baking soda.
For over 40 years I been drinking Folgers breakfast blend. It is a good coffee if you know how to brew coffee. I also have in my coffee bar, several brands of whole bean that I also love. For grocery store coffee, Peets is also a good brew. One of my favorite is Dunkin whole bean and Amazon brand dark whole bean. He is the final answer. No two people like the same brand or blend of coffee. Test taste like yours and others are about as useful as tits on a boar hog. Until you have tried all, and there are many, you have not clue which is best. It is all about personal preference. PERIOD
