Shaker is basically the best designed hero in the game, you just need to play him properly, idk how the fuck he doesnt mention clinkz here, cause he gets a rework every single patch

Earthshaker is just a TI hero. The hero is incredibly strong if you can get a level advantage and abuse it. If at any point three heroes line up, you can keep them stunned for quite a long time and it basically forces people to reposition away from the fissure in a good teamfight. The bad design? Purely just the laning phase being completely dumb. If fissure is such a problem ability for the lane, creep blocking etc... Maybe they can just lower the early range in exchange for it having a lower mana cost, or something. Because compared to other melee supports like tusk and marci, he has no real gap close and it hurts him tremendously. And he ain't no tree either, who can just keep the core in their lane safe or force the enemy to spend a whole bunch of time cutting trees. I almost feel like the designed shaker to be bad in lane just so they can have more comeback ults happen on screen.
I think it was a good idea but the problem isn’t with earthshaker but with the power creep of other heroes. His fissure used to be a very strong early game ability but his kit is kind of outdated with how simple it is.

I thought this would be a good video about the homogenisation of Dota heroes. You detailed how heroes have good design when they have both positives that make them strong, and other negatives which make them weak. With the years of power creep that has plagued Dota, newly added abilities and items have been slowly reducing the negatives, making heroes lack weakness and increasing their strengths. Things like Sniper's Shard or Hurricane Pike remove his lack of mobility. Same thing with Zeus' Mario Jump. It feels like Valve is pointing Dota towards a place where every hero can do everything. Every hero can be played in every role because their kits are all versatile. They all have no weaknesses. Drafting is pointless because everything is a flex pick, and every game comes down to one big brawl until the very end.
I would really like to watch a good video on the subject you talked about, but this video is shit. He even put Lina in the thumbnail while not even mentioning her. 100% clickbait and terrible content. I'm never watching this channel again
To be fair, a lot of people had trouble playing against tinker at even higher MMRs. They eventually managed to cry enough about how their inability to deal with Tinker is actually bad game design that it got essentially removed from the game, but every other hero is definitely a 2k or lower take. I think he's just ragebaiting or otherwise farming clicks though. There is just no way he could unironically be that wrong about so many things.
I'm amazed at ES being a glorified creep since when...? The hero is always good regardless that's why he has powerful abilities and if you don't itemize specially now when even behind a lot you can get a blink in 14-16 mi as pos4
so, is bad design equal to: 1. heroes that are essentially frustrating and rulebreaking at their core 2. heroes that are not strong, or don't feel strong 3. heroes whose playstyle don't add up with their name/title 4. heroes who depend on items to play to their fullest the video just feels pointless and also really biased! Eartshaker has had excellent performance across TIs (not all, of course), and TA not playing as an assassin when her role is to actually jump the backlines and kill fragile targets like 80% of the time is at the very least subjective.
I don't know much about Dota but from an argumental standpoint i don't get your arguments. "with great Balance comes great design" and you don't say anything about relation between spells.

Lmao Magnus, Tidehunter, centaur war runner is a better alternative compared to es, and if you play es as a core and when the game hits the 30 minute mark it becomes very frustrating. Blitzspank's point still stands es ult doesn't pierce bkb and gets dumpstered by almost every carry hero if es does not have enough damage to burst down his targets. Lastly every player that plays him always forgets to buy his aghanim shard which is the best item you can buy to avoid dying while truly chain stunning enemies to have a sure set up for his ultimate but sadly enough es gets countered by sange and yasha as it reduce stun duration significantly and gives amplified lifesteal.
I mean, i get the first first one. 2nd one is debatable, since Earthshaker himself is in a good spot rn. It would be nice if they make Echo Slam procs stronger version of Aftershock (same radius as Echo and pierce BKB), but that just sounds too much. I don't play TA much, but the issue with identity crisis kit is basically like Mirana.
His innate is fucking boring too. His source of stun is Q which at max level is just 1.7s, he doesn't build Abbysal or Basher, which leaves you to rely heavily on your allies lineup to be stun heavy comp. I'm sure there are worse innate than Sven's, but this one is just top 5 worst innate in the game, with the worst one being Mirana's.

Earthshaker is okay rn, but his neighbor is not Elder Titan seems like a pretty strong character but relies on his aghanim and movespeed too much, if the enemy team has slows or dispells, you will be forced to only use long ranged spells as a melee hero with a massive physical damage due to his astral spirit bonus damage. He also has confusing mechanics and you have to microcontrol your spirit to play effectively, which leads to him being one of the least played heroes as well as overall forgotten, because of him being essentially a taller and skinnier Earthshaker with confusing spells
also with the worst "stun" in the entire game. like come the fuck on. just reduce the cast time to 1 second already its 2024. a 4 second sleep is NOTHING compared to being chainstun bashed by a 2 moonshard slardar, es with shard, or pretty much any hero with a stun. even the pathetic stun that wk uses lasts almost 3 seconds with the talent.
this is bait lol. the game is balanced for high-tier play, meaning some heroes will be lackluster or overpowered in lower brackets, and this just sounds like a list of personal frustrations of someone from those brackets. which in itself is fine, but presenting it as something even remotely objective is self-aggrandizing

Just one thing I would like to say about ES ultimate and SK stuns are the only stuns in the game with NO cast time, which means, oponents cannot react to it, unless they pre cast/bkb
You had me in the first one, after that I don't think you were talking about design. Btw was the Templar Assassin part a (poorly elaborated) joke? It has to be a joke.
Well fissure while casted maybe have a bit long animation but after its casted, its casted. You cant disjoint it. You cant force staffed yourself to more favorable position. And it have long range. Good on set up for secondary stun. If enemy got secondary stuns then they usually get third stunned by aftershock + enchant totems. And if they got the third stun Even without blink dagger, They got the echo slams and die. The fissure stuns is.. yes underwhelming for its mana. But it blocks path. Well placed fissure can be kill guaranteed. Now on early time as support. Support job is not only trade blow. You can block the pull or lane creep with well placed fissure to disturb enemy support arrangement. You can deny the shit out of enemy core. You can ambush with enchant totems. On echo slams. Even the threat of it is enough for people to dont swarm your tanks mindlessly. The CD is not that long. Also ES do decent on competitive play. All your point of ES being bad design can also be attributed to other support melee. Like earth spirit for example. On tinker okay, but on ES it just means you need to git gud. You seems like a carry player that never understand the importance of casting range and disjoint mechanic.
ES went from having the weakness of mainly being a teamfighter to being one of the best physical nukers in the game, who also has stun in all of his abilities. Genuinely can't stand him, he gets phase + aghs and he feels unstopable. The fact blink isn't a needed item for him anymore is wild.
Earthshaker is literally one of the most banned/picked heroes almost every TI and Mr. Herald is out here arguing it's just a glorified creep. Meanwhile Techies somehow doesn't even make this list. @@rikoaya2741 In regular dota his ult is even easier to nuke with because people are dumb. All 3 of his abilities stun, fissure can block escape routes and if he gets some items he can carry. In 15 years of DoTA I can't even recall a patch where he wasn't strong.
PA, Nyx are local assasins, TA with her traps and early invis with high damage is a map assassin. She provides info to allies and can set up a kill (assassinate a hero) by the means of vision. You can compare TA to BH. Regarding Shaker, he is very dufficult hero to play, as fissure isnt only a stun, but also a wall. Very little players utilize this aspect of the hero, as it requires pretty much perfect timing and positioning. Also dont forget that fissure has no projectile and a very long range, whith such set up even your average pudge will be able to hook out puck.

This video feels more like a personal rant about being bad at playing Earthshaker, and wanting it to have no clear weaknesses and counters to alleviate that fact (despite saying at the start that Sniper being VERY weak against getting jumped on is a good thing). Doesn't help that most of the video was dedicated to ES. Pretty bad analysis, I'd say.
Wow you actually know nothing about game design fact that earthshakers abilities didnt change once since dota 1 allstars tells you how amazing his design is
Imo to bring tinker to an okay standpoint and manageable heros. Revert tinker back to how he was (can rearm items etc) Then give him the same penalty concept as dazzle, the more dazzle uses his ult, the more debuffs he gets increasing the hp cost of the spell. Give tinker a stacking debuff everytime he rearms. And have this debuff penalize him. Adding the reverse of manacost reduction buff. So a Manacost increase debuff. Im not a balancer so lets say 10%. Each time. So everytime he rearms his items and spells manacost increase by 10%, 20% 30%. This keeps tinker fundementally the same as he was before, but stops him from being the crazy spam hex 500 times, go base comeback spam hex 500 times. Instead he has a window of high burst potential, but then unless he chills out with the rearming for a bit, he will only he able to cast a few things before running out of mana
Earthshaker might be one of the Top 3 well designed DotA comfort heroes which can be used to describe how playing DotA is like. When you described Echo Slam as a CC I legit thought you were joking. Echo Slam exists as an 'instant cast' nuke punishment so you don't cuddle up as the rival team, you can't find this setting even in Zeus or SK, this cuddling also happens at least once or twice in dire situations so you can exort something out of it and having blink as a timing item is a pro design choice because ES would be an 'extremely' viable enabler if he could get close easily for cuddling punishments from very early on. any% carry soft/hard support etc. have timing items like these.
I just wish we could get some hero reworks to give some of the more awkward heroes more identity. Bloodseeker, broodmother and Chen come to mind. It's not that these heroes suck necessarily, but they just feel awkward or unbalanceable. Elder Titan as well. His kit is so all over the place.
spirit breaker still needs nerfs. i can play that hero with a handicap like no boots and still win just off his bullshit mechanics that are beyond broken. getting 4x bashed from q into r is just too much dmg.

@@geoDB. If you want a breakdown: Starfall and Sacred Arrow reach max effectiveness at two completely different distances, making them highly counter-synergistic. If you're in Starfall range, you can't just back up and shoot an arrow to stun somebody. On the other hand, if you land a max stun arrow, you have to cross a distance of 1500 just to get extra damage in. Leap has an incredibly large CD of 45 seconds, compared to mobility tools of heroes like Magnus, Pangolier, Slark or Earth Spirit, which recharge half as fast at level 1. This means that if you use them to escape instead of attack, you wouldn't really care because they will be available in just a few seconds, whereas with Mirana you need almost a minute to get a charge back. Combined with the fact that Leap gives Mirana attack speed, this sometimes makes running away feel like a waste. Mirana is a rather lackluster support and carry. Max level Sacred Arrow stun lasts about as long as Shadow Shaman's Shackles, except Shackles is much more reliable because it cannot simply be sidestepped. Starfall does good damage, but it forces you to stand next to the enemy team, which is usually the last place you want to be in as a squishy support. As a carry, not only is she is effectively missing 2 abilities, because Starfall and Sacred Arrow don't really complement her carry playstyle, but she doesn't really scale that well when compared to dedicated carry heroes.
@@Undead94100, literally every single one of your points makes no sense and screams that you have no idea how to play Mirana. First of all, if Leap really wasnt enough to cover her need for mobility that certainly is present, you could just buy mobility items like a lot of other heroes also have to. Blink or force staff would completely remove this supposed problem, but nobody buys these items because the problem doesn't exist. Or rather manifests as a skill issue on your end. Furthermore, the attack speed you get from leap definitely is meant to be used to attack people, especially with the newer Solar Flare. As a support, sure, you can't stand in the middle of the fight, but you can always use your combo on someone on the outskirts and deal great damage to them. If you play Mirana as a carry, first of all, it's untrue that she doesn't scale as well as other heroes. Mirana carry was even pretty popular just a while ago. Second of all, Arrow and Starstorm are far from useless on carry mirana. Gleipnir sets up perfectly for an arrow and starstorm is not only added damage, but has all the utility of any nuking ability, including farming as well. Or would you say Luna's Lucent Beam was also a useless ability before she got the facet that buffs her dmg with Beam usages? And that doesn't even have an AoE to accelerate farm with. P.S.: Forgot to address the fact you're unironically saying a 5 second stun with infinite range for any practical purposes within a teamfight is underwhelming because a channeled ability that forces a squishy support to essentially stand next to the target stuns for the same duration. Lmao. Maybe I don't even have to say anything about that one, now that I think about it.
Dota is one of the best balanced games in existence and history. "heroes that are objectively frustrating to play as" this is entirely subjective. Just because I don't like playing as Chen or Meepo doesn't mean they are broken heros with poor design. "heroes that are objectively frustrating to play against" stinks of someone who is bad at the game. All heros have hard counters, draft counters, itemisation counters, timing counters. Hell, if push comes to shove you can simple outfarm them and bruteforce a win condition. If you do not know how to use these many tools, it does not mean the hero is broken or poorly designed. Tinker has no damage and no farm early game. His "annoying mechanic" requires a 2000g item and a 2200g item (travel boots and blink). That's before he has any damage items. He is countered by hard disables, silence, mana burn, root, you can go shivas to get vision of him blinking into trees, you can pick heroes who beast mode him (nyx is literally ANTITINKER in one hero kit). If you do not know how to use timings, items, drafting, and micro/macro to beat tinker cheese I dunno what to say other than maybe you should play more mindfully and learn from your failures rather than make such outlandish, objectively wrong projections about IceFrog and Valve. edit: one second thoughts this is obvious bait. If you think ES is the worst designed hero in MOBA history I literally do not know what to tell you other than either you've never played MOBAs or that that MOBAs clearly are just not for you
There were patches back in the days where game was balanced pretty well. I think throghout the whole of 2016 ( pre 7.00 ) that the game was in great shape. Only around early 2016 I can recall that Invoker and OD were strong, but not something extreme.
5:14 I mean just get a scepter instead of blink yeah the cast range isn't as long but it's never put on cool down when attacked so if shit goes side ways it helps you to escape plus the cool down isn't as long as blink and can even be reduced with the lvl 25 talent tree. I've won many Earthshaker games going scepter instead of blink plus you get the additional first stun when you jump in then stun after you ult
Echoslam piercing immunity would be amazing. Plus the aftershock should cover the whole Echoslam AOE. I still like him though, he's really great in mid tier brackets.
Hi. As an immortal player, I believe everyone would agree on Tinker. Tinker is a bad design hero, anything that can loop infinitely and have an impact on is hard to deal with via designing. Other 2 is just random shit that you are talking about.
As someone that has a gambling addiction I can safely say that you are wrong, earthshaker is an amazing hero you just gotta play him as a core because he is Not a support. As support you must have impact early in the game es only has it once he gets blink, so as support that can be from min 10-35
For ES, well you said it yourself, its Aftershock that stuns, not Echo, so without any rework, its impossible to make Echo stun over bkb without transforming this hero into a King of over bkb stuns.
I just uninstalled with yesterdays patch, I had 11k hours. I suggest you do too. This game has become the worst energy vampire out of any other thing in your lives. Put it away. Id consider coming back if they removed the comeback mechanics, a pipe dream for perhaps the rigged matchmaking and hero balance to ever be fixed.
This take is so dumb and so widespread. Let me guess, Mirana's abilities are at odds with one another because one needs far range and one needs close range? Good thing she doesn't have invis and a mobility spell to get in position, right? Arrow from afar, leap in and Starstorm into autoattacks is a very simple combo. What part of it is so incompehensible?
I kind of agree when u mentioned ES but only aesthetic/design wise cuz i dont really know what hes supposed to be. But objectively he's like anti mob blink initiator whats bad about that? Do u prefer his kit more ranged oriented, as if he wasnt a PL/broodmother's nightmare already

Oh boy blitz is up on upload schedule
I remember you 😮
Bro still alive
Bro we miss your videos
Earthshaker as Critshaker is a nightmare to play against.
Don't know what your problem is, you prolly are just bad
his w needs to either not be able to crit or just be made into a crit. either way so it does not stack with deadalus.
@@Bradley_Dragonstill 500 mmr takes
@@Bradley_Dragonback than...it used to not be able to crit...but as time goes on..small things like this got power creeped..and is not as strong expected so they just allowed it lol(orb effect is also another example)

This feels like an april fools video.
So, just moba wet dream?
this video is made by smn who is 2k mmr
someone who is 2k mmr would make a better video
To be fair, a lot of people had trouble playing against tinker at even higher MMRs. They eventually managed to cry enough about how their inability to deal with Tinker is actually bad game design that it got essentially removed from the game, but every other hero is definitely a 2k or lower take. I think he's just ragebaiting or otherwise farming clicks though. There is just no way he could unironically be that wrong about so many things.
Yes. Seems very lacking in knowledge.
When you said glorified creep, I could only think of undying
You're talking some mad shit for someone in decay range
I'm amazed at ES being a glorified creep since when...? The hero is always good regardless that's why he has powerful abilities and if you don't itemize specially now when even behind a lot you can get a blink in 14-16 mi as pos4
Life stealer dota 1 creeps 😅
one tombston and you're funeral
Sure bro lets lvl 1 tombstone the bounty
so, is bad design equal to:
1. heroes that are essentially frustrating and rulebreaking at their core
2. heroes that are not strong, or don't feel strong
3. heroes whose playstyle don't add up with their name/title
4. heroes who depend on items to play to their fullest
the video just feels pointless and also really biased! Eartshaker has had excellent performance across TIs (not all, of course), and TA not playing as an assassin when her role is to actually jump the backlines and kill fragile targets like 80% of the time is at the very least subjective.
Templar Ambusher xd. btw obviously he was making this video as a joke, so don't take this too seriously
check your heart rate, go seek a doctor
well, actually 🤓☝
this video is shit
I don't know much about Dota but from an argumental standpoint i don't get your arguments. "with great Balance comes great design" and you don't say anything about relation between spells.

ES? Which one?
Earthshaker?
Ember Spirit?
Earth Spirit?
Ah yes, desolator + critical ES
nah but flaming es for being worst moba character while yuumi exists is literally criminal
I know right, thats a weird way to spell yasuo
An Item should never be made into a character
Angela(yuumi+shen in 1 hero, global cast shield+teleport+she is inside her core for 15 seconds)and Barats(3 absolutely random abilities that don't synergize together would like a battle with yuumi
I don't play TA much, but the issue with identity crisis kit is basically like Mirana.
look at how they killed my boy sven, he literally got nerfed so much he stopped being a carry and now is barely a support...
@@NormalHatter See in a way this is what I love about DotA, heros have to be considered based on other heroes etc. It makes for a super complex and often fun game. Buuuuuut yeah it kinda sucks when a hero you like is only playable under very specific and often rare circumstances.

@@MrRafagigapr I saw a pro player say to his team "we need damage" and then the team proceeds to pick earthshaker and another pro teammate responded "nice". From this interaction I believe that it is believed that earthshaker gives the team good damage.
luna's single item has more polygons than morphling
Earthshaker is okay rn, but his neighbor is not
Elder Titan seems like a pretty strong character but relies on his aghanim and movespeed too much, if the enemy team has slows or dispells, you will be forced to only use long ranged spells as a melee hero with a massive physical damage due to his astral spirit bonus damage.
For him ES is bad design due to he must hit his 5 men ulti but true strenght is the possible thread of being grouped up in 1 place. ES is not bad design imo.
So, is medusa balanced on high tiers?
The templar "BUT" moment was so unexpected))))) Very funny!
You see,in immortal rank,these problems don't exist.
Heck...i am in divine..last season ancient... never seen any of this problem

Disagree on ES. The design is solid, and you're just babyraging. Get gud, Blitz.
Agree on TA, though. Meld doesn't scale, and patch in, patch out, Icefrog either doesn't care, or makes her OP in other ways until eventually she gets nerfed to shit.
It's funny how, from ~4 years to now everyone thinks they can elect what is bad and good design in a video game. I'd rather read a full kotaku article about it than watch this video past 2 minutes.
Conclusion Every dota 2 hero sucks when your either an 8 yr kid( who only cares about aesthetics & design) or a total noob (doesn’t know how to use the hero). Worst is both😂😂
Talking about a glorified creep and not mentioning anti-mage is a crime
Just one thing I would like to say about ES ultimate and SK stuns are the only stuns in the game with NO cast time, which means, oponents cannot react to it, unless they pre cast/bkb
You had me in the first one, after that I don't think you were talking about design.
Btw was the Templar Assassin part a (poorly elaborated) joke? It has to be a joke.
are u still exist? over a month already still no new videos?
Techies has gotten nerf after nerf for the last like 3 years 😂
There may be many earths but there's only one earth shaker for a reason.

We got Blitz shitting on TA before GTA 6😮
Its not bad design, its skill issue.
is this video sarcastic? i can't believe someone said es is bad design
I hope it is...coz this is a really...really bad take
Almost sounds like it came from a LOL player playing dota for the first time
Nah, the heroes are not designed horribly, you're just bad in Dota...
This video is a great example of why heroes are balanced around professional players
Earthshaker's cast point was improved to the point that Clockwerk can no longer cause ES to have a seizure and die.
Yet barathum still got a seizure 😢
ES went from having the weakness of mainly being a teamfighter to being one of the best physical nukers in the game, who also has stun in all of his abilities.
Genuinely can't stand him, he gets phase + aghs and he feels unstopable. The fact blink isn't a needed item for him anymore is wild.
>dota has some heroes which abilities synergies with each other
BlitzSpanks: OMG IT IS SO BROKEN AND POORLY BALANCED
Insert clinks here. the hero doesn't know what it will do anymore
Earthshaker is literally one of the most banned/picked heroes almost every TI and Mr. Herald is out here arguing it's just a glorified creep. Meanwhile Techies somehow doesn't even make this list. I'll have whatever you're smoking.
This is why, whenever balance is concerned, you only trust TH-camrs who sound like Spongebob.
dota competive is a diferent game from dota
8:52 To be fair, in the old versions of Dota, his Echo Slam actually pierces through immunity.
to justify Lanaya as an assassin, they even make her base range shorter than all melee heroes (145).
The ES argument doesn't make any sense, Axe is even more dogshit without Blink dagger, and on Shaker you also get the option to go Aghs to both initate and get out of trouble
If you cannot get the win with ES you suffer from skillissues
OD and Techies have gone through so many fundamental changes its crazy
5:42 that voice crack tho LMAO
What the hell did you just say about Earthshaker bro
This video feels more like a personal rant about being bad at playing Earthshaker, and wanting it to have no clear weaknesses and counters to alleviate that fact (despite saying at the start that Sniper being VERY weak against getting jumped on is a good thing). Doesn't help that most of the video was dedicated to ES. Pretty bad analysis, I'd say.
Dude got a beef for not able to handle PerfectES
Silver Edge attack = Bristleback dies in secs.
Uh Blitz did you know ES can buy an aghs scepter? One of the most OP "teleport-like" abilities in the entire game?
Wowzors.
Yeah when he was saying that ES couldn’t get close to enemies I just get flashbacks to ES jumping on me from like 300 meters
Wow you actually know nothing about game design fact that earthshakers abilities didnt change once since dota 1 allstars tells you how amazing his design is
Imo to bring tinker to an okay standpoint and manageable heros.
Revert tinker back to how he was (can rearm items etc)
Then give him the same penalty concept as dazzle, the more dazzle uses his ult, the more debuffs he gets increasing the hp cost of the spell.
5:42 that voice crack LMAO
Вы забыли упомянуть героев с действительно плохим дизайном - веномансер, виверна, бэтрайдер
Earthshaker might be one of the Top 3 well designed DotA comfort heroes which can be used to describe how playing DotA is like. When you described Echo Slam as a CC I legit thought you were joking. Echo Slam exists as an 'instant cast' nuke punishment so you don't cuddle up as the rival team, you can't find this setting even in Zeus or SK, this cuddling also happens at least once or twice in dire situations so you can exort something out of it and having blink as a timing item is a pro design choice because ES would be an 'extremely' viable enabler if he could get close easily for cuddling punishments from very early on. any% carry soft/hard support etc. have timing items like these.
entire video should have been about broodmother and silencer only
I just wish we could get some hero reworks to give some of the more awkward heroes more identity. Bloodseeker, broodmother and Chen come to mind. It's not that these heroes suck necessarily, but they just feel awkward or unbalanceable. Elder Titan as well. His kit is so all over the place.
Nothing beat the original Techies in terms of horrible hero designs!
arbitrary hero selections
only tinker was justified
10:06 boy, that transition was clean af
we live in a world where they nerf spirit breaker every patch but buff sniper/pudge
spirit breaker still needs nerfs. i can play that hero with a handicap like no boots and still win just off his bullshit mechanics that are beyond broken. getting 4x bashed from q into r is just too much dmg.
You could make a part 2 of this video or an adjacent video where you talk about the heroes who constantly get full scale reworks, nominees being tiny, clinkz, and techies
7:34 Earthshaker, the Totally not Cairn Bloodhoof from Warcraft. 🤣
>Bad design
>Names TA and Shaker, two heroes with relatively easy to understand and execute kits
>Not even an honorary mention of Mirana
Stick to LoL, buddy, that game is more up your speed.
What is wrong with Mirana? You go invisible and try and set up an arrow to initiate, then dash in, nuke them and auto attack them, pretty simple
@@geoDB. If you want a breakdown:
Starfall and Sacred Arrow reach max effectiveness at two completely different distances, making them highly counter-synergistic.
As a carry, not only is she is effectively missing 2 abilities, because Starfall and Sacred Arrow don't really complement her carry playstyle, but she doesn't really scale that well when compared to dedicated carry heroes.
cope league of legends
If you think ES is the worst designed hero in MOBA history I literally do not know what to tell you other than either you've never played MOBAs or that that MOBAs clearly are just not for you
Calling Earthshaker badly designed is kinda cringe.
There were patches back in the days where game was balanced pretty well. I think throghout the whole of 2016 ( pre 7.00 ) that the game was in great shape. Only around early 2016 I can recall that Invoker and OD were strong, but not something extreme.
ES has the most 1v5 clips of any hero of all time.
Some heroes are just SOOOO LEGACY that their Kit couldn't catch up against the new Heroes.
Agreed. Venge and Ogre are the prime example of this.
I like their kits. i am thinking venge needed a new ability and to put her old one as an innate
No Mirana? Really? It feels like her kit is meant to be 3 different things at the same time
Lina on thumbnail is too personal
Echoslam piercing immunity would be amazing. Plus the aftershock should cover the whole Echoslam AOE. I still like him though, he's really great in mid tier brackets.
Hi.
As an immortal player, I believe everyone would agree on Tinker. Tinker is a bad design hero, anything that can loop infinitely and have an impact on is hard to deal with via designing.
Other 2 is just random shit that you are talking about.
Disagree on ES. Spam w - win lane - get blink.
pllease stop killing childeren in palestine
As someone that has a gambling addiction I can safely say that you are wrong, earthshaker is an amazing hero you just gotta play him as a core because he is Not a support. As support you must have impact early in the game es only has it once he gets blink, so as support that can be from min 10-35
I mean shaker mid is really strong this patch, that enchant totem ability is not balanced, he doesn't even need the rest of his kit 🤡
Are we even playing the same game? What are you on dude
I think one of the worst ones is Mirana every ability seems to be at odds with each other
This take is so dumb and so widespread.
NO SHADOW FIEND MENTION
When everyone is overpowered, game is balanced
I kind of agree when u mentioned ES but only aesthetic/design wise cuz i dont really know what hes supposed to be. But objectively he's like anti mob blink initiator whats bad about that? Do u prefer his kit more ranged oriented, as if he wasnt a PL/broodmother's nightmare already
I would say a lot of heroes in Dota look odd. For example Lina - mage that usually builds physical dmg, because of 1 passive. And her magical build that suck so hard compared to psyc one no one uses it. And that's just 1 hero
Annoying does not equal bad design. I won't even say anything about the earthshaker take. If you ever walked up highground or to a rune and got double melded you know TAs more of an assassin than PA is for most of the game.
Bloodseeker, he seeks blood, and is useless
