I have 2018 WRV Diesel. I recently completed 1 lakh kms and so far really satisfied. Talking about the suspension, yeah they’re soft and absorbing but the rear suspension feels too soft and gets bouncy especially when there are people on the back seat. Talking about safety aspect, I had a major accident when a drunk truck driver crashed into my car from the behind and the car kept everyone safe with only minor damages on the rear bumper of the car. I have had multiple road trips with WRV and the mileage it returns is great. I’ve been consistently getting 25+ KMPL which is great. Talking about the engine, it is good but not good enough for hilly roads. I took the car twice to Himachal and it always felt like that the car is struggling. Overall no reliability issues and neither I have faced any issues with the sunroof although I feel Honda could do much better with interior quality. Overall satisfied with few complaints which are obvious in almost all the cars as nothing is perfect.
WRV diesel is most underrated. Covered 70k km from Jun 2018, got a mileage of max 35+ on highway, usually ranges 22-27 on driving style Had an accident when a truck rammed us from behind on a highway and it kept everyone safe. The major reason of its failure I believe is the petrol engine which tarnished image of diesel as well.
