On mileage side he is right nowadays many cars getting better mileage than offered mileage. Mine is Ignis 2021 model which ran 8000km and I am getting 24km in Highways and 19-20 in cities.

For Rear seaters head rest is missing which is a big lag with Honda WR and also it misses android/apple car play. In Honda WR V when i saw in showroom only phone connectivity with Bluetooth or aux and USB connectivity. Also the small Sunroof is waste its in the middle of the car so when i saw that in showroom i thought it was just given for the sake of giving it. Even i noticed the Length of Honda WR V and XL6 and its just 1.45 feet is the difference but its manageable . I also took xl6 drive twice both manual and auto in tuff & ruff city streets in Kolathur and i was able to easily drive it in streets, was able to take cuts and while driving it didn't gave me the feel of driving a big car. Also all fully loaded 6 adult members gets separate seats with relaxed position. Suspension is good for XL6. I am taking Honda city test drive tomorrow. I am very curious on how itS going to be.

Nexon is not suitable big family. There is a space issue. If in your family all are lean then Nexon is good other wise you can check other options.

Bought WR-V vx variant in cars24 for 6.3L budget.. so far happy with the car, in city getting mileage of around 11 to 13kmpl.. haven’t taken it for a long drive so far..
Comfortability and steering control was good. May be pick-up was less for 1st and 2nd gear, but it matters mainly for driving enthusiasts , but for normal drivers it won’t bother much.
Infotainment system interface was not that great, but sound quality was good.

If you own a diesel this is going to amaze you.

I'm a Honda Jazz i-Dtec driver (2016) and have clocked 1.45 Lakh Km so far (I'm the first owner) and my uncle has WRV i-Dtec and another uncle has Jazz i-Vtec currently. In my experience, When it comes to Honda cars India, I feel they are Jack of All Trades kind of car when we compare it to its competition. Let's take all the current selling models. Be it Amaze, Jazz, WR-V and City, The chassis and steering are tuned very well to handle highway speeds and be it their petrol or diesel, The drivability in lower speeds is much better and easier. Meaning, one doesn't have to fiddle with gears so frequently or press the accelerator pedal to the metal to keep the car crawling in the traffic.
The steering might not be light as the Hyundai or Maruti Suzuki at lower city speeds. But, it's not very hard. But, when one takes the Honda to the Highway, the car feels much planted and takes corners wihout body roll when compared to the competition.
When it compares to reliability, Honda requires only periodical maintenance for the most part and nothing else. Nothing fails unless one crashes.
Even though gncap ratings are not available for all Honda cars. But, they have scored 4 and 5 stars in Asian NCAP and Euro NCAPs.
When it comes to practicality, Honda cars are usually very practical. Other than the discontinued Brio. No compact suv can match the spaciousness of Jazz/WR-V and also the boot space..
1.2 i-Vtec might not be the most exciting car to drive. But, very smooth and highly fuel efficient too. 1.5 i-Dtec offers ample torque at low RPMs and can easily move in 2nd gear and even can climb average ramps in 2nd gear without a fuss.
Fuel efficiency is 20+ kmpl even if I keep the car at 115-120 kmph average even after 6 good years with 1.45 lakh km on odo.
Service costs are slightly costlier than Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Not so costly as the Germans or even Tata or Mahindra.
If practicality tops your list and want a fuel efficient car with good handling and dynamics, Do consider Honda cars.
They are actually dying. But, I can tell you even after all these years they are good. I'm saying this even after owning and trying modern NA petrol and Turbo Petrol Engines in the competition.
Only downside of the i-Dtec is the NVH levels inside the cabin. Engine noise unfortunately enters the cabin more and slightly more vibey than 1.5 Hyundai CRdi's..
But, who cares about diesel anymore??😢
It can't get better than this. You just reflect the buyer's sentiments and apprehensions before buying a car. The review just gives a clear idea to the buyer, even if he is not going to buy. Definitely one will be convinced and justified with the decision. Great going...Keep up the good work.

Things to improve in WRV:
A better powered Engine (comes with the same engine as Jazz).
Automatic (comes only with Manual Transmission).
Rear seat adjustable headrests (comes only with a bump in place of headrests).
Addition of Magic seats instead of bench for the rear would be remarkable!

This video is superlative. WRV has issue several issues. a) Problems in audio system panel. I hv experienced bubbles formed in the panel and expensive to rectify it. b) Doubtful abt the mileage claimed in the video. Not seen more than 12 or 13 kmpl. c) Also, the vehicle lacks power and accelerating from slow speed to high speed is frustrating.

I'm using Honda Wrv VX Petrol model for past 1.5 years. Its a excellent car. It has all the necessary and luxury features. In City drive I got max 15.5 milage and for Highway its fantastic car ,I got 18.5 milage when I drove with in 100 kph and while using cruise control mode. Its really very very smooth , No noise , excellent safety features . Honda Honda than 🙂. Few things r missing like head rest, rear vent ac, Android play but With in this 11.5 budget u will all the necessary and luxury features. its really awesome car .
How is A pillar and blinding in Wrv . I felt it has some issue for blinding
It is the owners personal choice anyway,but i would never touch a 1.2 ltr petrol which is very sluggish and have to frequently rev the engine to get even decent performance.Had he bought a diesel WRV, might be a good choice.

Trust me I have been asking same thing to my father for past 4year why he bought wrv petrol like it's not worth the price but also we never had any problem till now it's still running smooth and good except the mileage it's has gone from 18 to 13 which is totally disappointed.i told him Ford ecosport was better choice but my father choose wrv no idea why. But for him it's great cuz he never use any of the car tech so it's good car.
I am using WRV VX since 4 years with any issues. It's a fabulous card for small family.

ON road price of said model of Honda city will be 11.42 lakhs... now 5th gen honda city comes with on road price of 13.8 lakhs..

Even I had same option but Ground clearance is low. We can’t drive in city with bumpy roads easily like crossover or SUV..

I own a WRV VX Diesel for the 4.5 years now. Got it during the launch of the vehicle. It's a perfect family car. The best in the segment when it comes to space. One thing most car buyers don't consider is the 3 Vs 4 Cylinder engine. Most cars in this segment are 3 cylinder engines. But on a long run 4 cylinder engines are the best for a hassle free experience. Till date my experience with wrv has been excellent! Yes, the diesel clatter is there which I started enjoying 😆 . Honda must update the vehicle with connected features and address the shortcomings. Also honda should send the vehicle for NCAP crash test so that people can purchase the car with confidence.

@@kavishsoorya5282 Yes, you can cruise at 120 without any worries on a highway. The stability of the vehicle is good because it's wider and lower ground clearance (188 mm) compared to most vehicles in the segment.
If you follow auto news, you might be aware that lots Tata Nexon cars toppled upside down soon after it was launched. But then Tata fixed it after a year or so. Unlike Tata ot Mahindra, Honda does proper R&D and before the vehicle is launched.

Wr-V is a not much of a fun suv crossover having evident body roll, less power, (you can't even imagine installing CNG kit) ,not a stiff suspension.
Totally a half baked model which borrows parts and accessories from other Honda cars.
I'm having honda city diesel (2017)version, I am done almost one lakh seventy thousand kilometers but still I'm getting above 24 km/lt . Till now not even changed the clutch plate and timing chain. Honda = value for money

I changed the clutch assembly at 1.45 L km in my Jazz i-Dtec.
But, I could have continued using the old clutch. But, it didn't feel like new and was certainly hard.
Now, it's plush.😊
I've changed only brake pads,discs, tyres and battery so far other than the clutch.

You can implement engine braking by shifting to 3rd gear immediately from 5th and applying brake would be an efficient way!
