Between November 30 and January 22, the Leafs play 27 games in 54 days! Exactly a game every other day average with FOUR back-to-backs. That’s a LOT of games in a small window. Let’s not overthink the goaltending schedule, just platoon Wollie & Stolie every other game and nevermind trying to ride a “hot hand.” Maybe even load-manage by bringing up a Marlie goalie for a couple games in each of the next two months? We gotta get these boys to the playoffs, HEALTHY!
@ that’s why I suggest that if the Leafs are still winning most games after after a couple weeks then start bringing up some Marlie Goalies here and there to help load-manage both of them.
Canucks fan here. I did not know that the iconic Leafs were doing so good this year. Good man. Leaf fans deserve this . Period. See you at the Stanley cup ; )
Nashville's Colton Sissons would be a great under-the-radar bottom six center pickup. Hard-working 3/4C who wins faceoffs @56% and is on PK1 with the Preds. I think his scoring could go up with a change of scene. Very affordable $2.857M cap hit with another year left on his contract after this one. Nick Robertson would probably be of interest to Nashville with someone else. Not every trade has to be a sexy one.
Toronto's goaltending scenario is 1a 1a. It's the only approach. Why risk the confidence of whomever would be 1b. It is a tandem situation until it isn't 100%
There is no narrative. Woll needs to prove he can stay healthy and we don't need to shake our goalies up. Best tandem in the league and best we keep it that way. Love them both. We need to pick up players, goalie spot is solidified. 1a and 1a. Defence and net taken care of. Need to get tougher and add a couple forwards and leafs are set.
If the Leafs were able to acquire, Kadri from Calgary, Big Z from Boston, Schenn from Nashville, and Olivier from Columbus, Toronto would have an identity and definitely be a TOUGH team that no team would want to play against, especially Florida! Unfortunately, these players will never all play for the Leafs at the same time. My Christmas wish list for the Leafs, that will NEVER come to fruition!
It'll be a tough month because they do play so much. I'm with you there. But at the same time, they are getting guys back, their goaltending is excellent, and they are playing solid hockey. They could bee third in the Atlantic, but they aren't letting Tampa or Boston pass them easily. Just as likely the Leafs are first in the division if they grind through the month effectively.
Fun to think about, but I don’t see a realistic way of that happening, not THIS year, with this salary cap. Never mind what the Leafs would have to give up future-wise. Next year, anything is possible.

Not worried let Matthew's take time to get back 💯

Because too many games for an oft injured goalie is gambling bigtime

why would you give up anything valuable for a player who was here and wanted to leave...he can stay on that disaster of a team he is already on
I like O'Reilly. Yes he wanted to leave. Would that change if Berube is coach.
Apparently it was related to Keefe. He won a cup with Berube
@@markwolf5703 Thats what I thought. Now depends on what it takes to get him.
Kadri and Hymann are the missing pieces. ;)

O'Rielly did not get hurt during the playoffs for the Leafs. He was hurt before the playoffs.

Probably going to have a tough December Leafs fans. The buds may end up in 3rd by Xmas; don’t be shocked.

Leafs should go for Pageau or Norris
ROR is washed..Leafs need to get younger at the center position, not older
They cannot call up Cowan as suggested in other media either he is hurt and day to day for the Knights. Agree Grebenkin takes McMann's spot
Dave doing the commercials is not the best.
Leafs get Crosby

He left bc Leafs were on a loser trajectory back then under Dubas.
He left because he didn't want the pressure and said as much. So what would be different now? Same disrespectful fans and media.
