The Falcon Punch is similar in that way, where only really bad or really good players use it. My source is that I use it all the time, and I can almost always beat the Level 8 CPU meaning I'm pretty good
So I just finished the full video before this short went live and I have to commend your ability to cut sections of the full script down to keep within the time limits of a short, whilst still keeping the excellent pacing of the review and including all the main points. Good job!
As a former Falcon Main, his fan named moves are: Knee of Justice (fair) Heel of Shame (Up-tilt) The People's Elbow (Melee-4 F-Smash) Stomp (Dair) Renaldo/Tipmen (Reverse Up-Air)
@@The0-2DemonKing Never heard 'The people's elbow' before. Good one Btw it's Ronaldo, with an O Famous brazilian football/soccer player. No, not Christiano Ronaldo from Portugal. Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima
Hey, VurJe here! It was nice to see a clip of mine in here as well because I’ve been trying to expand on it’s usage and I completely agree! There’s lots of bad uses for it if it’s not in the right scenario but even in the clip you used of mine, it regained me stage control in that game when I was cornered. It’s also a good burst option on platforms if your opponent is trying to juggle you over and over but you know they’re going to try and mash on your shield and you catch their jump It made me smile because I’ve always wanted to see myself in a TH-cam short like this. Gave me a little more motivation for bracket tonight, so thank you so much!
I remember years ago, when MKLeo seemed completely undefeatable, Marss pulled out his Captain Falcon and started getting really weird with his moves. Best set of Smash Ultimate in my mind
It's honestly really gratifying to hear someone whose opinion I respect say this because this is exactly what Ive been thinking from day 1. Of course I'm still in the beginning part of the bell curve but we don't need to talk about that
to use one step from eden as an analogy, theres a lot of spells that just suck, and for a long time I just didnt use them as I got better, now I be real good and be using these spells anyway
As someone on the front end of the bell curve I use falcon kick all the time, my favorite is using it close-ish to a wall so I bounce off of it then immediately using it again
This idea of move getting forgotten them use on higher level always been the case on alot of games witch is funny to me. So at the end it how people use it
Was able to outpace a falcon kick with my mii sword fighter in a Halloween eight man mini tourney we were running and was actually amazed i was able to pull it off. After the match the guys and i were just dumbfounded that i timed it well enough 😂
Here’s a tip for F-ZERO (based on gameplay on the bottom): holding the down button as you land gives you a smooth landing, allowing you to retain speed from a jump
This has been a thing in fighting games forever, it can be really frustrating when youre mid/high level and youre respecting your opponents skill level just for them to quadruple roll out of the corner during winners finals. (my example was for defensive options not an offensive burst but im sure you know what i mean)
Bigass decently highrisk moves like this are appealing to noobs because they're easy to hit, but fall off because they're often punishable. But once you figure out how to use them in a less punishable way, it's back to being bigass and strong

I’m gonna keep asking for down-smash animation tierlist mockrock, enough yap and gimme what I came for
Why are I is?
I love how MockRock explained the Falcon Kick in terms of the bell curve meme without ever actually referencing said meme.
I actually considered adding it in the original video lol, there just wasn't a great gap to throw it in
“bell curve meme” made me age 30 years
bell curves existed before memes lol
@@zackglickert4495 it's referencing a specific meme, the one with the three kinds of people on it, not just a bell curve lmfao

In Fighterz, my brother would call this kind option the "screw neutral button"
Super dash is the true screw neutral button
That's true too. Ain't nothing like a good old super dash
Falcon Kick is so funny. You'll be playing neutral near the ledge until someone just mashes down b and the opponent suddenly explodes
I really appreciate how you theme every short around the game the characters come from
The Falcon Punch is similar in that way, where only really bad or really good players use it.
My source is that I use it all the time, and I can almost always beat the Level 8 CPU meaning I'm pretty good
lmao
"Almost always”
No it's actually true, top level player try to dunk with Falcon punch if they're two stocks ahead.
Consistently beating the level 9 is considered decent
If this is a joke this is really funny
So I just finished the full video before this short went live and I have to commend your ability to cut sections of the full script down to keep within the time limits of a short, whilst still keeping the excellent pacing of the review and including all the main points. Good job!
You’re telling me it’s called knee of justice and not falcon knee?
Its official name is actually just Knee Smash, but Knee of Justice has been a community term for a long time
As a former Falcon Main, his fan named moves are:
Knee of Justice (fair)
Heel of Shame (Up-tilt)
The People's Elbow (Melee-4 F-Smash)
Stomp (Dair)
Renaldo/Tipmen (Reverse Up-Air)

I love how in falcons moveset its just a mixup but in ganons moveset its his only approach option lol
There’s something about how MockRock pronounces “Falcon” that scratches an itch in my brain
Next time I play Smash Ultimate with Falcon, I’m gonna spam that kick back and forward. 😂
Unrelated but Gannons kick is probably his best mix up tool.
I gotta respect how Sakurai took a look at this dude from a racing game with barely any characterization and said "make him Kamen Rider"

got three-stocked by a falcon on elite the other day… 3 stocks, 3 falcon kicks

The attentions spans for short-form
content is so low, we’ve began implementing F-Zero footage at the bottom
Lol same with PK Fire on Ness. When ur a noob you spam, when you are intermediate you forget, and when you become a pro it becomes vital
Bro described normal distribution in the beginning
I think that's called a bell curve.
This idea of move getting forgotten them use on higher level always been the case on alot of games witch is funny to me.
So at the end it how people use it
Ness players and PK Flash and Thunder.
At low levels, they spam them, but at high levels you see them used several times a stock.
Was able to outpace a falcon kick with my mii sword fighter in a Halloween eight man mini tourney we were running and was actually amazed i was able to pull it off. After the match the guys and i were just dumbfounded that i timed it well enough 😂

Same exact concept with ganondorf down b I think
In fighting, especially kickboxing or boxing, advanced techniques are usually just beginner mistakes done on purpose.
This can be relatable with kirby. Beginners: spam down B. Pros: Don't use it that much because up B is better to get down.
bru same with peach side b lol but thats ones even harder to use
I never heard the term tempo used in smash before? What is tempo in Smash?
This is true for me with falco side b
Bigass decently highrisk moves like this are appealing to noobs because they're easy to hit, but fall off because they're often punishable. But once you figure out how to use them in a less punishable way, it's back to being bigass and strong
Huh i would consider it to be a good move as long you dont spam it, this move is really much more punishable that this video lets it sound
-50 on shield 💀
@@TheFullPackage 🥸bro trust the process, if you divide the -50 by 10 it’s only -5 in shield, which is average

Yea, falcon kick has always felt basically unpunishable to me which always annoys me
FALCON KICK 🥾 🔥💥💥💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️
It’s good unless you down b off stage…
Boring ahh short thank god there's F-Zero gameplay to hold my TikTok attention span to the screen
It is not fast
