I don't remember Andor or Bobba Fett, I just know I watched them so I guess they were okay...Asokha was okay - the actresses were trying to convey maturity and authority - but it came off as stoic, which made me sad bc it was like they were saying there is something wrong with women expressing feelings and having personalities. BUT the Acolyte was awful and created by someone who cared more about processing her own personal issues than Star Wars. The fans aren't being toxic when they say its bad, they just care more than the writers. I am a woman and a POC.... and this writing is BAD, so the characters are poor representation of humans. The show was shallow, simple, and boring - breaking canon is actually fine IF it is thoughtful and helps the fantasy world evolve... and is part of a good story. Write better stories and quality characters with interesting arcs. Take people on journeys that are worth the time, attention, and money. If the story is good and the characters worth knowing the cast can be all colours and genders and orientations.

"Toxic" fandoms were originally the large groups of fans who loved a celebrity so much that they get upset when their favorite K-pop star cuts her hair gets a tan... or attacks the ex-gf of their idol for dating someone new... or attacks their famous crush's new girlfriend bc the relationship ruined their fantasy. Toxic fans are not critics or people who love a franchise, but don't like the latest entry. I loved the first season of the Mandalorian and had high hopes for the rest... I don't remember Andor or Bobba Fett, I just know I watched them so I guess they were okay...Asokha was okay - the actresses were trying to convey maturity and authority - but it came off as stoic, which made me sad bc it was like they were saying there is something wrong with women expressing feelings and having personalities. BUT the Acolyte was awful and created by someone who cared more about processing her own personal issues than Star Wars. The fans aren't being toxic when they say its bad, they just care more than the writers. I am a woman and a POC.... and this writing is BAD, so the characters are poor representation of humans. The show was shallow, simple, and boring - breaking canon is actually fine IF it is thoughtful and helps the fantasy world evolve... and is part of a good story. Write better stories and quality characters with interesting arcs. Take people on journeys that are worth the time, attention, and money. If the story is good and the characters worth knowing the cast can be all colours and genders and orientations.

Yeah, I don't hate Diznee SWs. I just feel nothing for it. No love, no hate, no joy, no sadness, just nothing. So don't worry Diznee. What I am experiencing is far worse than hate when it comes to SW. It means that SW is irrelevant, does not move the needle, it's white noise without any coherence. Congrats you deserve this.

We do have freedom of speech still in this country, but they're trying to take that away from us so we don't give our opinions that we are entitled to by the Constitution of the United States
