I just got my new 2024 Rebel last Saturday! I love it !
I’ve driven ford and GM and out of all of them everyone of my rams has been a lot better then ford and GM by a mile. I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face rams are the best trucks on the road hands down.
just hit 83k on my 19 Limited and I certainly would buy another again. Leveled on 35" ridge grapplers, RAM intake, Pulsar, and Corsa exhaust. No issues besides a faulty starter and exhaust manifold tick which was replaced by dealer on warranty. Oil changes every 3-4k and its smooth as silk and plenty of power. Hoping to get up to 200k eventually. Its treating me great so far.

Do you have the air ride? I had it on my 14 longhorn and had all kinds of problems. Cost me over 5 grand to fix when all said and done. Fun fact, it does not even use air, it uses nitrogen. There is 1 dealership in my whole state that has the equipment to work on it. That system does not like the cold...(I live in Vermont).
I own a Tundra TRD Pro & I am leaning into buying either a 21 or 22 Rebel. Been looking at them more & more & really love the new look. That red interior & big screen is what sells me.

Don't do it. Any Ram 1500 5.7 V8 Hemi will have manifold bolts break. It costs $700 just for one side to fix and it's recurring. The other is camshaft failure. These are 2 major issues you'll have to face when you own a Ram 1500 5.7 v8. In addition, you'll still have your usual engine, transmission, electrical issues to deal with and some body issues too.

I used to be a chevy guy and I feel my Ram rebel is def a better ride. The one thing about the screen is I wish it was tilted toward the driver slightly.
I was in the market for a used Rebel after seeing your videos. BUT! I came across a well equipped 2019 Bighorn with the Rocky Ridge K2 upfit already installed. 6" lift, on 20" wheels on 37's, hard tonneau cover, with an aftermarket exhaust already. It came with the rear locker and hill descent control as well! With only 30k miles on it! It was at a Subaru dealership, who didn't know what they had and had it priced as a regular run of the mill 2019 Bighorn. I take delivery of it Monday!

Just hit 24 miles on my 2022 Rebel. Picked it up two days ago. Sure, its early but I absoluely love it.
I've had my 2019 Limited now since mid 2019 and I would buy another. I come from a loyal GM family, this is my first Ram, It's Rough Country 5' lifted still using the factory airride with 33"x11" tires and rides just as good as it did before the lift. It has been the most trouble free truck I have ever owned. My only complaint is sometimes there's a fast ticking ( almost a but not quite a rattle) coming from the back glass in the winter time, most likely due to plastic part shrinkage. and occasionally a quiet vibrating rattle in the dash and center console area where my knee is, if I lean my Knee on it it stops until it decides to come back whenever it randomly wants to. The only other thing that bothers me is ignorant people still call it a Dodge!, and I get tired of telling them it not a Dodge since 2010.

I was GM loyal also. Nooo more… I am Ram all the way now myself. My 2019 Longhorn has been flawless. 👍

I have a 2017 classic, she just hit 200k not too long ago, other than the exhaust manifold bolts on both sides, thermostat housing leak, 3rd brake lights leaking when it rains and air rides. I had no issues. Hemi still runs strong, trany feels great.
I bought a rebel GT 2022 and love it with only 11k on it and it comes with the center shifter i have had 15 rams over my years and hated that center shifter button. My previous truck was 2019 ram big horn off rd package which was pretty good. This rebel is called the baby trx. Same bucket seats with GT stitching and yes cooled seats cold air intake system e torque, paddle shifters, pro peddles and more love it

We’re back to changing oil every 5k miles if you want to have 100k+ miles of worry free engine. Great video.

I love my 2020 Ram 1500 Built to serve edition!! I have a camper shell for my dogs and Borla Atak exhaust which sounds amazing! My truck also has the dual sunroof too even though it’s a big horn model.

@@mychal5541 A 22 Rebel GT. Billet Silver , no graphs , fold out door rails, Bed Cover. with 2,500 mi. was considered used. Has dual moon roof ,no black out which is fine , skid plate and rims match the color perfect. All leather, 12" screen. I got 12k for my 14 Longhorn and bought this at 64.5k .I think I got a deal. had to put in the spray bed and rear liners. LOVE IT . Thanks .
@@mychal5541 PS , It's monotone silver , no black bottom. Just clean looking. I want to put a lift on this this Spring. Maybe tint the windows more. Keep my toe hooks black but paint the Brake shoe covers red I think would really POP . Has the center console shift , no dial. It's awesome.

Love it. Had a 2020 Laramie, 2021 rebel, and now currently a 2022 ram big horn back country. Love your recommendations in older videos with the rambox, sunroof and 12 in screen so when I placed my order for a 2022 ram big horn back country, I ordered those option and you are 100% spot on with all of those things. Even followed you with the rambox mod dividers.
One thing that currently is a negative thing on the 2022 models is uconnect 5. It’s been a big issue for a lot of folks but for me …knock on wood…no issues for the last 6 months.
Love your channel and you are pretty close to my neck of the woods ( I’m on the other side of the Delaware river). Maybe one suggestion…have you thought about anything car/truck electric lately?

I have a 19’ Bighorn with ramboxes, I don’t think I’d buy another truck without ramboxes they are just so useful especially for a construction worker like myself. I’d get a another Ram for sure, but not for the prices they are going for in todays market lol
I don't find them to be that expensive. It depends what your shopping for. I have seen '22 Ram 1500 4wd Quad cabs stickered at $39k. For a full size truck that gets over 21mpg I find that a bargain
Love my rebel and this video is definitely inspiring to hold on to it for years ! Trx is definitely not a practical daily due to its size, especially in cities

But again it’s a rich man’s toy who might have multiple daily lol perfect if you live in a place with wide open deserts like Baja

Just like to say! thats a very nice truck! I like the black and white color scheme, I'm definitely a bit behind in years. I own a 2014 ram bighorn that I customized to the hilt! Its got a 4 inch superlift kit, 37 x 12.5 Kanati mud hog tires, a carvin exhaust. Right now its a real mix in looks only, of a ram Rebel, a 2500, a sport, and a 2022 Ram. I guess my attempt at short U-tube vids says it all!! To many mods to even try to mention!! My only complaint so far after 7 years is that the bolts to the manifold snaped and it cost me a grand to get them replaced. Other than that? This by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Its like a dream to drive! and every other RAM owner has no clue of what to make of it when they see it!! Good luck with yours, I intend to keep mine till it can't drive anymore.
Just had my AWE installed Monday and I’ll never go with another! Leveled it today with Skyjacker UCAs and MotoFab 2.5in blocks. Got rid of the easy lean on turns. Now looking at cams and LT headers as next upgrades. You did either of those yet? FYSA, it’s a 22 Lonestar Blackout Edition with the 5.7.
No cam or headers on mine love my AWE too

My last truck was a 02 ram bought it kept it 19 years it was a good truck. It only had the 4.7 and struggled pulling my 22 ft tri toon it did pull it though. To be fair it was 19 years old and is 22 on deck the boat and trailer is over 31 ft.

Rebel! Just recently picked up a 2020 1500 high country and these 1/4 ton trucks are plenty nowadays. And having a 6.2 doesn’t hurt!

There are lots of trims on the Rebel. If you want a particular feature make sure the one you are looking at has the feature(s) you like. Not all Rebels are the same. I wish mine had blind spot detection. Also, my 2022 does not have the automatic side mirror tilt down when in reverse like some do. My seat does not have memory settings for two drivers so the drivers side has to be adjusted after the wife drives it. Passenger side seat does not have electric controls. For the sticker, all the features I mentioned should come as part of the package. Overall, My Rebel is awesome.
I just got a used 19 Rebel almost fully loaded. Didn’t even realize the passenger seat had no electronics until after I bought it and my wife said it. I was in shock. Other than that I absolutely love the truck

My 2019 Laramie‘s been perfect for almost 3 years. No trips to the dealer for anything other than oil changes.Do the rebels not come with ambient lighting like the Laramies do?

Definitely had the issue with the tailgate where I have to push it in sometimes to open but another question. The display, when you change it does it turn back to default within a few hours?
I have not had my display change from how I have it set up
Mine doesn’t last 24 hrs before going back to stock black and red display theme.. very irritating.

You don’t need a TRX because you have TRX Rear Tow Hooks…………actually you still need a TRX. Trust me. I loved my 2019 Rebel but I love my TRX WAY more.

My 2019 Ram 1500 rear window frame cracked and leaks water. You said Ram will replace it? My warranty expired. I used clear caulking inside the top part of the rear window and it has not leaked since. I would rather have it replaced and done right. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

I don’t get the mpg on rebels. I had a 5.7 with 3.92 in my Ram Sport model. It never fell below 17 mpg and got up to 22-24 mpg. Why so different?

Just read about a Ram bending in the middle because of a camper. The load was slightly over max rating. These things are flimsy junk. I owned a used 1980 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 4wd bought with 120,000mi on it from my local lumberyard. A used delivery truck with 120k of hard use. Drove it for 5years. At one time this old rig held the record load for gravel at the sand pit. 3800lb of wet gravel. 4 times the rated load. Didn't hurt it a bit. This record load was only one of a half dozen almost as heavy loads hauled for 12 miles with this old rig. Pickup trucks have become flimsy insanely overpriced fashion statements, because most folks who buy them are idiots.

I got a 2023 limited longhorn. Cheap, way overpriced, junk. Cheap leather- looks and feels like wet cardboard that dried in the sun, thin to no padding, bed shorter than 6ft, they have a security lock on the OBD so you have to attach security bypass cables to change , say, for bigger tires. The new multi function tail gate is marketing junk- cheap metal. Id be REAL CAREFUL standing on that split tailgate, I cant imaging it holding. Eye candy, cheap materials. 12 in screen, ya cant change nav to waze or google maps on the full screen. Only the tomtom nav is full screen - ON ANDROID AUTO. Apple can get the whole screen. Nice big back seat, heated and cooled seats and they recline just a bit. But they won't fold forward to give a flat floor- like the 2500 mega cab would. Not as impressed as I thought I'd be, at $77,000 sticker it'll be awhile before I can walk standing straight. Tge steering wheel, they cheaped out taking the wood trim off and a thinned cheap leather wrap. Seats and console leather, very cheap compared to my 2500 2018 Longhorn. All in all cheap metal and leather, uconnect 5 and tomtom nav not tgat good. Nice video, enjoyed it.
I would never buy a dodge becuz the coil springs don't last long and the old hemi sucks. The hemi tick always happens. And the interior is not as good as chevys new design. The bed is small and head lights are weak during night. So disappointing ram doesn't do redesign like Ford and gm. Dodge ram 🤮🤮
Wow bud!!! What are ya talking about? Old Hemi sucks? 🤣🤣🤣. It’s tried and true bud. I’ll pick the Hemi poison over GM piston slap and lift issues. Flollowed by Fords issues with turbo issues and cam phasers etc etc. I can go on on. I had them all. Cheaper to repair a Hemi. Simple as that..
head lights are weak??? One of the best and proven to have the best lighting😂. Actually the best I have seen with my 2019 anyways.
As for GM interior. Yes, finally improved but all interiors are a personal preference. Only improved because of Ram…. Keep that in mind. Ford had to keep up also. Cheers
My headlights are obnoxiously bright the hemi is good if you maintain it the interior is comfortable no complaints

I finally got my 6" LIFT on my 2019 warlock @HavocRam we bought our trucks the same month bin watching since then. As for the ram boxes they kill the body lines unless you have the decals like you have they hide the lines from the boxes
Any problems with the etorque system? Been doing some reading and it seems a bunch of peeps are having issues with it.
