Hi, as you told likert scale data is ordinal, is it possible to convert it into interval data by using summated rating scale concept? Can we use parametric tests on likert scale data if it is ordinal data? Hi Shankaar, I just looked into a different video where the referent refers to that topic. th-cam.com/video/i1RG6zoySa4/w-d-xo.html Basically, he says as soon as there are >6 likert scale questions, there is an argument in the literature advocating the use of parametric tests. However, thats not the case for the analysis of individual likert scales, e.g. if you just have one likert scale question in your survey. cheers :)
