You have one of the best voices for this, its very soothing and you aren't filling the video up with nonsense. Cheers!
Thanks @drewk5972 Appreciate the comment!
This is one of the best guides I have found on You tube. Thanks for putting this together. I look forward to more content from this channel.
Thanks so much for the comment @James-ky1oz. Really appreciated!
Man what a simple guide to understand, clean in depth. deserved like and a sub
Thanks for the sub @sultansharif7937. Much appreciated!
Wish This video was around when I started playing BM Hunter during S3. Good information man.
Thanks for the comment @dabeachbum3210. We will be updating going forward so should have info to everyone a lot sooner.
Man amazing guide tbh best one i watched in a while thx
@laszloszocs7477 Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated.
Yessss im totally new to BM and this guide is so easy to understand. Thank you
@linkov11 Thanks for the comment. Glad it was helpful!
This was very well done and as a crap Hunter player I think i can start down the road of being 'less crap'. Would love to see how you set up your buttons, keybinds and macros for ease of use during a fight.
@darinwynder7207 Thanks for the comment! Have had a couple of requests for further details on BM so we will be looking at that for some future content.
@TwoAngryFrogs please do! I'm back after 12 years and your video has helped a lot. Thank you!
greetings from Brazil man. This video is really great
Thanks for the comment @isaiascandido8497. We really appreciate all the comments and hope the video helps. And a big welcome to Brazil!
Very good video, thanks!
Thanks @nikolasviaja! Really appreciate the comment and glad you liked it.
Probably one of the best BM guides on youtube, if you play any other classes other guides like this would be great👍
Thanks @Humanstain1. Really appreciate it! I do play others. We wanted to see how this one was received since those take some time to put together, but will be working on more of them. Should be at least 4 or 5 more in the coming weeks.
Great video overall, you could differentiate between raid AoE and mythic+ AoE builds though, like the popular raiding build for most encounters taking points out of Killer Command and Training Expert to get Dire Command and Dire Frenzy
Thanks for the comment @asynic140. Will definitely look at that. We try not to get too overly complicated since there are a lot of casual and semi-casual players that are not as interested in min-maxing. But maybe we should consider it for an advanced chapter in future videos. Thanks again!
One thing I was always told when playing bm is that it's important to macro basic pet attacks into each ability so the pet doesn't just stop attacking
Hey Boricode. That is true. We decided to leave that from this video so to not make it drowning too much in the numbers but focused more on the basics and what we thought were the key macros. I do macro them in but I am also min-maxing all the time.
Great video :)
Thanks @cynicalshows1789!
awesome guide man.
Hey, thanks! And thanks for the comment @ZombieJeezus420
Great video learned alot! what is the song that played throughout? Remember hearing it before but cant place it
Hey @Jack-wy4dr. Thanks for comment! Angry Frog #2 said it is Alls Well from the Oblivion soundtrack. He thought that might strike some nostalgia with someone. 🙂
Hey man, great video. Do you happen to have a follow up video or something about BiS gear and what we should be using? Thanks!
@RetroMonger Thanks for the comment! Was not sure what the demand for that would be but will definitely look at it. And certainly for sure when we get to TWW.
What is the cast multi-shot add on. Part of a rotation helper ? Also one of the best guides on Hunter in a long time. An I look an watch all the time .Regards !
Hey @johnricci294. It is part of the Weakaura I use. For all of my characters I use Luxthos weakauras, which can be found at wago.io. I like the way he lays things out and have used them long enough that I know how to customize them the way I like.
Thx for the video
Sure thing @jookajook4213. :D
Any reason we take high explosive trap in the mythic plus build? Thinking I'd rather have misdirection or Tranq shot instead.
Hey @silvers1337. Thanks for the comment. Most of the basic utility switches in and out depending on the content. High explosive can be good to move mobs away from an area such as when there is Sanguine but it is limited in its utility. Tranquilizing Shot is really good for Ruby Life Pools or when you have the Raging affix. So really it just depends.
theres any addon to help track rotation? like showing the next skill to use?
Hey @rena-lf1wj. Yeah there are a few. The one addon that I have seen mentioned the most is called Hekili. I have not used it so don’t know much about it but people seem to like that one.
What weak aura are you using for the rotation? Is that the frenzy tracker that is showing on the right of your character scrolling left
Hey @Teed227. Thanks for the question! I use the Luxthos Weakauras which has everything built in including the tracking Frenzy. On the right scrolling left is the Streamer plugin for Details so I could show what was being cast in real time.
@@TwoAngryFrogs Nah, thank you for the fast af response haha, subbed. And great video btw, just getting back into WoW and beast mastery my fav char
so when you say from our stable with call of the wild. i dont need them on me? they can just be in the stable? and do i need diffrent pets in stable? because i only have 4 diffrewnt hati pets just in diffrent colors and a bloodgullet pet :D
@marchentze That is correct. Also if you do not have a bunch of pets stabled, then it just summons ones from the current zone you are in. For example in Remix I never bothered getting more than 2 pets so it summoned snakes, cranes, and other pets when in the Timeless Isle.
Okay so just got notification that TH-cam has been having some issues with the comments. Seems some Comments are disappearing or not showing in the Comments section. So what Azortharion posted about deleting comments is likely due to this issue. They have said they are working to restore older comments that did not show up so hopefully I will see those soon and be able to respond. Thanks everyone!
To be fair though. Since we could already almost cap mast, haste, crit we should be able to get alot of versatility this season. Unless they nerf the stats gain from it.
Agreed @Iss3n. It will be interesting to see what gear does for us for Season 4. Next Tuesday, ready to go!
Why do you use chakrams so late after Wild Call in your AoE opener? Shouldnt you want to overlap the effects as much as possible meaning you throw chakrams and immediately pop wild call, racial and trinket, kinda like you do on ST?
Hey @TheGarfield1337 We cast Call of the Wild earlier in the AoE rotation to take advantage of the Beast Cleave that it provides. For ST it is not as important to cast Call of the Wild early on.
And honestly it is a min-max of the numbers to a large degree and driven by simulations to determine the optimal rotation on paper. If you go to different sources, you will see different "optimal" rotations depending on how the person has set up the simulation. None of them are wrong per se, just different setups.
I want a guide on dragonflight pets for solo because I cba to goto old maps as a new player. Im level 65
Hey @ConeyIslandKing You should be able to go anywhere you want at level 65. Sometimes it just requires a starter quest. Are there specific pets you are looking for? For solo I would recommend a Ferocity and Tenacity pet. I would run most of the time with a Tenacity just due to them being much tankier. You have Ferocity in your back pocket in case you need a Lust against an Elite boss or something similar.
You say that KC is the most important ability to use, and before that, you showed openers, where you keep 2 stacks during the whole opener. So the question is - don't you want to use KC on opener before and between using CDs?
Thanks for the comment @ins1deme543. In the single target opener, the initial spell build up (Barbed Shot, Bestial Wrath, Death Chakram, etc.) brings in a lot of damage multipliers that maximize Kill Command damage when you start into the rotation. In the AoE opener, we start our Kill Command casts a bit earlier since we are now using Multi-Shot and want to take advantage of Kill Command being used by our other pets that get summoned.
Vers is hellaneeded if u key over 20+ or u gonna tank the floor
It is to a degree kevvzlem. I completed 20s in Season 3 with at most 7% Vers. Start getting into the mid 20s and above more may be needed.
Liam Neeson teaching us how to BM hunter.
🤣 What I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Thanks for the comment @rumers100.

@leequesada439 All WoW classes are relatively easy to play in casual mode and you can setup talents so you have less active abilities. Rotation for BM Hunter may be a bit lighter but boss mechanics and interrupts, stuns, crowd control, etc don't change just because you are playing a specific class or spec.
For a solo player -- or Aoe player if u want --- without Barrage u are nothing -- with call of the wild and stampede - 2 min cooldown is useless also binding shot ..- i need to find away to avoyd it on my list .. not easy
Thanks for the comment @0ffury. Honestly there are a lot of different ways to play the spec and all specs for that matter. I find that Call of the Wild is fine since I typically only need to use it when pulling very large packs or trying to solo elites in the open world. It is definitely a cool down you want to have for Mythic+ with the way packs are pulled. But I definitely encourage people to try different things. If you are more of an open world player don't let the meta and min-maxxing control what you find fun.
Too many buttons. No rotation should have more than 4-5 buttons and maybe 2 dps cooldowns. Game is too bloated.
Thanks for the comment. And BM Hunter is one of the easiest @akirameru675 ... LOL. Destro Lock is about the same. But you get into Balance Druid and Fire Mage and the IF-THEN-ELSE conditions are ridiculous. :D
No shot u just said that lmao.
Hey Uncle-Ruckus. Thanks for the comment. I would say from a starting level all classes are easy to learn. But mastering something like Fire Mage as opposed to BM Hunter is a step up in complexity in my opinion.
@@TwoAngryFrogs i meant to reply to the op comment, about classes being too complex, i know bm is easy.
@@Uncle-Ruckus. Gotcha. Then I agree ... lol.
VEry good video! you and @redthedeer should make stuff together!
Thanks for the comment @danielrudolph8462!
