A couple of clarifications: - The Emerald Bounty events, need you to at least plant an Epic seed (Gigantic Dreamseed) in order to have a chance to get the forms that come from that source. - You can also buy the forms that drop through the Emerald Bounty event, from the vendor Talisa Whisperbloom, in the central encampment. The cost is 1 Seedbloom, which also drop from the Emerald Bounties, so it's a form of bad luck protection basically. - Combining the Somnowl Feather Strand, does require a RUNED Writhebark, I accidentally showed a regular Writhebark in the video Thank you for wathcing
This new item that requires you to "learn" the new forms somehow give me the hope that one day, druids will be able to copy the appearance of any bear/cat in the wild the same way hunters tame their pets. Just have a free spot open in the customisation options that remembers the most recent cat/bear form.
Simply imagine night elves finally be able to turn into proper frost-sabers or be a more taunka-like druid with an ice-bear form. Also if new class-race combinations ever happen, you can play them according to your headcanon rather than what they end up being.
I hope so, shame we only get 1 runebear color, when there's multiple runebear color variants in the PTR. If we don't get the flame runebear form I riot.
It doesnt work like that. Skins need to properly fit their animation rig. You cant just copy paste any npc and expect it to work with player animations.
I love that they finally really put in a lot of new forms to acquire. I hope this is not just a "Druid" themed patch thing, but that they keep adding more.

But the Mount-version of Fyrakk Mythic is Dynamic Flight, I'm pretty sure, so I assumed it would correspond with the Flightform Version of itself, since the Animations are already in the Game. But Idk, maybe they changed it. Dynamic Flight for (almost) all Mounts & Regions comes in 10.2.5, so maybe they delayed it.
I dont quite get what you mean, since mythic fyrakk gives the mount with dynamic flight, and the corresponding druid flight form, which the flight forms will get dynamic flight too in war within (mabybe some patches before idk), so you can have the fyrakk owl model on your druid flight form which has dynamic flight@@MortimerFolchert
Tip for the 10 runes, just grab one, keep max distance, and use the item, then go with your flight form and body pull it, go out of combat fliying and came back, the defub is off and you can repeat

2:22 Unfortunately the info here is incorrect, you MUST have finished the quest "Overseer Oversight" done in order for this item to phase in, so you can pick it up.
for the fish form, you need to be in a raid group and clear the first 3 bosses to be able to access all the required pools. stealth won't help. it can be done in LFR. It's a beautiful form, I wish it had some color variations though.
you can also get the ones south of Amirdrassil where you can get the catraptors as well. Its where i got mine in the PTR. They easy to find if you are following the weekly bloom event, you can spot them on the way.

Seriously tho, I had gotten my druid to 70 at the beginning of DF but never played much beyond that as I stopped playing for.. about an year or so? I returned to WoW one month ago and having this vid popping up on my YT suggestions made me pick up my druid again. I had forgotten how much fun playing Boomkin is and it's legit impressive how much AoE carnage they do even at my low item level (let me tell you, doing the world boss with i-level of high 200- low 300 was.. interesting lol). Thanks a ton for the vid, it really rekindled my love for the class and I already got the Q'onzu somnowl form. I have the vid bookmarked so that when I finish the storyline quests so I have my gear bumped up a bit more, I'll go back and get those rares! Wonderful stuff!
@LazyBeastGaming for the vial form the coords for the stone you gave 41 23 puts you way up past where your player marker is the real coords are 41.78 66.94 for the feral dreamstone for the vial quest also just to point out try scrolling in on the map to make it easyer on the world map when showing locations
its a lot of running around but to be honest I really enjoy when they have small stuff like that you have to go out of your way to do. Might be maining my druid this patch LOL
It was shown that there are 4 color variants of the Runebear forms. You mentioned only one via the World Boss. Can you please find out about the others as well. Thanks.

Can these only be collected if you're playing as a druid? My main up until now for dragonflight is a warlock but I am considering changing my main to druid for the next expansion. Feel like this would have been a perfect fit for my druid but it would take too long to level up and gear up my druid
Most likely can only be collected on a druid. With the exception of the fire owl because it would be utterly stupid if you actually needed to loot the mount on your druid, and it didn't count when your other class looted it.
Just exactly how far into the story thing do you need to get to unlock all of that stuff, including the bird form where you can fly? / What level do you need to be? I’m stuck at one of the start quests in WOW, as in like after you free that prisoner when you’re in the Alliance
Because these things come from the emerald dream, you’ll want to be 60+ I’m not actually sure if you need to be max level to enter the ED once you’ve unlocked it on one character.. you’ve made me wonder, but I think you will need level 70 and once you get there you can start collecting most of them

I’d like to think so yeah! This should be how it works but we will have to wait till someone clears mythic to check, if it isn’t the case and they’ve overlooked this, I’d imagine they’d change that in a patch or hotfix
from what i can tell if you want the form you must get the mount in order to gain the druid form on another toon but most are saying its best to do it on that toon to get the form but that's just mostly our guessing from PTR so far.

The world boss is in the emerald dream, around mid left of the map, it’ll show up as a purple/epic works quest (purple circle with border) You get to the Emerald Dream by doing the 10.2 campaign, have you managed to start it?

resto Druid is pretty much the same as far as I know, apart from some numbers tweaking and the odd talent shuffle. Rogues got reworks of each spec, not massively, but a fairly decent rework and I think the feedback from those has been mostly positive
It seems that for some people it doesn’t but I did get it myself the other day in the same spot, I suspect it might move around that small area a bit and not always be in that exact spot but I am unsure at this point

It's a shame we don't have permanent tree form anymore. Lots of potential for appearances missed out on. Also, are these new druid forms account wide or do you need to acquire separately on any druids you have?
The box of vials aren’t there for me. Is there something I need to do to make them appear? I havent completed the Dragonflight quest line, I moved onto TWW after lvl 70. Do I have to finish DF campaign or something?
Question for ya. For the last 2 times i was trying to get Moragh the Slothful she didnt have a 'Rare' star next her her name or show a star on the map. Does not having a star mean the rare timer went off or someone already got the form for the day? Also shen i killed her/him I only got one little piece of loot and of course no Mark. Is this a thing?
Just a question I haven't seen an answer to yet: If I main a warrior and I do Fyrakk Mythic will my alt druids still get the fiery owl customization unlocked? Or do I just need to main a druid if I want it asap?
That’s a very good question, and I would assume that as the dragon riding customisations unlock account wide, that would be the case.. although what they may do, is make it give you an account bound item, that you can send to your Druid to learn the appearance, that would be a logical thing to do, or just make it grant to your account as soon as you learn the mount, we don’t know for sure but time will tell!
Hey, that’s the cheetah upgraded model, can’t remember if that’s just baseline now, I think it is, from the barbershop, if not it’s just a glyph, but I’m sure they added a glyph for the old cheetah appearance :)
Very well done. I wanted to ask about the new werebear form, didn't wowhead show datamines of more recolors of that form? You have only shown the yellow one. Is it unknown to us how to get them or what is going on?
Thank you! Yeah good question, they did indeed show other colours, I think at this point they may be for mobs we will face in the ED/in the raid, but hopefully they also become available at some point!
Yeah it’s a funny one this one, have you completed the campaign (curious if that affects it) it was there for me on live servers but I didn’t get it straight away on patch launch

And if you use your Dalaran Hearthstone then you will get instantly attacked when spawning in Dalaran. Easy doable, but just to be aware alliance has more easy going here ^^

Yeah works perfectly that! Couldn’t test it like that on PTR as the pathfinder wasn’t implemented till the very end after I’d made the guide haha
You can just aggro all of them and then run away in combat and when they reset combat their buff goes away. Shadowmeld with NE works too.

I haven't played since the first month of dragon flight release. Does anyone know if there are any huge changes to resto druid or assassin rouge
resto Druid is pretty much the same as far as I know, apart from some numbers tweaking and the odd talent shuffle. Rogues got reworks of each spec, not massively, but a fairly decent rework and I think the feedback from those has been mostly positive
Do you have to be on your Druid for the forms to drop from the rares?

It seems that for some people it doesn’t but I did get it myself the other day in the same spot, I suspect it might move around that small area a bit and not always be in that exact spot but I am unsure at this point

Good question, these will be available to druids of every race! 🙌🏻
This is why I main Hunter and Druid, they are really the only class that still has a lot of flavor to them.

Did I understand that if I get a Fyrakk mythic mount that can do dragonflying and the fire owl form at the same time (or another new owl form), only the mount will be able to do dragonflying??

It's a shame we don't have permanent tree form anymore. Lots of potential for appearances missed out on. Also, are these new druid forms account wide or do you need to acquire separately on any druids you have?
The box of vials aren’t there for me. Is there something I need to do to make them appear? I havent completed the Dragonflight quest line, I moved onto TWW after lvl 70. Do I have to finish DF campaign or something?

Question for ya. For the last 2 times i was trying to get Moragh the Slothful she didnt have a 'Rare' star next her her name or show a star on the map. Does not having a star mean the rare timer went off or someone already got the form for the day? Also shen i killed her/him I only got one little piece of loot and of course no Mark. Is this a thing?

Just a question I haven't seen an answer to yet: If I main a warrior and I do Fyrakk Mythic will my alt druids still get the fiery owl customization unlocked? Or do I just need to main a druid if I want it asap?
That’s a very good question, and I would assume that as the dragon riding customisations unlock account wide, that would be the case.. although what they may do, is make it give you an account bound item, that you can send to your Druid to learn the appearance, that would be a logical thing to do, or just make it grant to your account as soon as you learn the mount, we don’t know for sure but time will tell!

Hey, that’s the cheetah upgraded model, can’t remember if that’s just baseline now, I think it is, from the barbershop, if not it’s just a glyph, but I’m sure they added a glyph for the old cheetah appearance :)

Yes. I haven't seen any drop on my alt. Once I started playing druid, some appearances dropped.
Very well done. I wanted to ask about the new werebear form, didn't wowhead show datamines of more recolors of that form? You have only shown the yellow one. Is it unknown to us how to get them or what is going on?
Thank you! Yeah good question, they did indeed show other colours, I think at this point they may be for mobs we will face in the ED/in the raid, but hopefully they also become available at some point!

Yeah it’s a funny one this one, have you completed the campaign (curious if that affects it) it was there for me on live servers but I didn’t get it straight away on patch launch

Thank you so much für this guide! You could add that if you do this as a horde player you will get attacked and flagged in Ashran an Star's Rest. And if you use your Dalaran Hearthstone then you will get instantly attacked when spawning in Dalaran. Easy doable, but just to be aware alliance has more easy going here ^^
