@@WHOTEEWHO it’s awesome that you replied to me the other day on the 25-06 video. I asked about twist rate. IM A FAN BOY. Started watching you about 1year ago and you have provided me hours of entertainment. I’ve had the privilege of interacting with some of my favorite youtuber lately and it has been a real joy especially with the world being such a downer this year. Just wanted to say thank you. Talking to guys like you and Joe Rea, James Mason has been pretty cool. My kids think I’m somebody special when I tell them that so am so called me or replied to one of my comments. Thank you
0:39 Just looking down range and the already painted green targets high on the right side stand out like crazy. The orange just blend in in comparison. Interesting!
The Human eye during tens of thousands of years of evolution has developed the ability to see more shades of green than any other colors...see predators could hide in foliage so the ability to see through it became survival.
I don't need to paint just yet but it's getting close. Using the white as a base coat is exactly what we do. It's really no different than painting a wall in your house and priming it with a white base coat. Looks great and definitely makes the targets a lot easier to see.
What I like to see once in a while is when the camera is behind the shooter at just the right angle to actually see the bullet travel to it's target. Works best with large slower moving bullets. But that green pain may actually help a lot.
I always found the orange marker paint to be the most visible under all lighting conditions. Yes that marker paint has a lot of pigment so it covers well and goes a long way.
Thank you kind sir for all of your videos and time spent making them!! How ever I need to say something to get it off my mind. I'm not going to check your comments to see if you have heard it a thousand times, but I feel I need to tell you. STOP SHOOTING THE REGULAR STEEL PLATE THAT HAS CRATERS IN IT!! It will SOONER OR LATER hurt you or your camera person, or anyone else that is near. I hope you listen, and or research shooting regular steel. Now I have warned you, I feel better, the rest is up to you. Thanks again sir!!
ill have to try the white base layer before the color.. surprising how much that green jumps out.. i been using bright blue but i can 2nd the quality of the primeaux targets got the 1/2 inch thick gongs.. no holes or bad pitting yet and nice loud ring when ya hit
I do the same thing with mine except I stopped using cheap white paint and went with good stuff. I started realizing that it takes double the amount so I wasn't saving any money doing it with cheap stuff. Not only that but some of the cheap cans would be so little pigment it was like spraying clear. Somebody needs to come up with a remote spraying system so we aint gotta do so much walking to paint these suckers!
This video brought back memories of raising our sons. One of them is red-green color blind and he sees red, green, orange, and brown as the same color. But he did see a color that he described as "bright brown."
@@dentside78 I saw them and was going to get them for him but he told me not to. He said he doesn't want to know what he's missing. In all honesty, he is living a very good life. He has good job, a great wife, and incredible abilities. The only thing he lacks is color vision.
I like the inverted spray cans. I throw my steel (don't have near as many as y'all) down and the paint all goes on the target. I've been using the white, dayglo pink & orange for years. I've got to buy that stuff by the case so it's not to expensive. Think I paid $3.99 a can last time I ordered. If you want to buy bulk just go to a survey or contractor supply web site.
I'll have to try using a white base layer sometime. I have a bunch of Mexican white spray paint I picked up for 50 cents per can. Serious, the writing on the cans is all in Spanish.
Funny people hate on your range and probably don't even got nowhere to shoot but wanna tell you to clean up etc 😂. I guess some just can't help theyselves
dont use spray paint is a waste of time and money.. go to your local home Depot and pick up 1 gallon of Opps paint, for those of you who dont know opps paint is returned paint that home Depot sells for 80%off, and there is ALWAYS opps paint, so you can get a gallon for like $6. Grab a small roller kit for 8$ and you have paint for years for $14
You need to hook up with Larry @steeltargetpaint
Absolutely gonna check him out

@@robertpowers1045 That makes sense! I haven't seen many orange jungles around 😆
Johnny Bench would be so proud. No runs, no drips, no errors.
I like your comment and your name lol

It’s all about that base!
No treble
Yellow is my favorite color for steel targets.
Just got some steel so this will come in handy soon I'm sure.
Awesome!
"to the eyeballs" loved it.
👀👀👀
Wow! What a difference!
Bright!!!
Thanks for painting those and Thanks to the others who requested it
Thanks for watching Craig!
@@WHOTEEWHO I've watching for awhile and I watch Paul's channel...love to meet you guys someday
Lol. With the quickness!
Hot pink is cheap and bright. Definitely going to try the white as a base.
dang i thought that caldwell yellow was bright, that green really pops!
Bright! I use it on my balsa floats for catfishing. You can see them a mile away
Great tip I used to use same method on my front sights before
I use that exact same rust oleum in yellow and white it dries fast
Good video it really makes the steel pop out from the background
Super bright!
Ha I'm a rural water operator and I just recently started using the white and blue marking paint and it works great!
Works awesome!
I get that stuff at the logging supply store, tree marking paint!👍🏾😀❤️🇺🇸

Looks Good. I will have to give that a try with the white under coat. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Makes it bright!
Had to drop the comment since I gave him hell about paint last week. Can't wait for the video!
Yup!!!!
It looks great painted.
So bright!
2 things ! It’s bright it pops
Great idea!!
Thabks Bill
He goes live, but the video was previously recorded. He goes live when it airs after getting thru the TH-cam caution tape. Lol
Yup
I recently found the MeWe social media. It's like Facebook but without the leftist censors. There are even groups to buy and sell g*ns.
That is nuclear bright! Wow!! 😳👍
Super bright!

haha i just bought that marking paint without doing any research then caught this video. thanks man
Another great video.
Thanks Tod
Very good idea! Thanks for sharing 👍 WTW😎🥇
I don't bother to paint my targets much, but I wonder whether that would work for painting the sights of a pistol.
they stand out much better.
Pretty bright!
Does the paint dull or stop the gong ring?😊
Yes. No
I'll have to try using a white base layer sometime. I have a bunch of Mexican white spray paint I picked up for 50 cents per can. Serious, the writing on the cans is all in Spanish.
Wow. Good price!
Nice I will try this on my AR 500 targets thanks, WTW stay safe.👍👍👍
Works great
Well now that was a interesting video but if Paul continues to use those crooked bullets it won't matter how bright the paint is.
Ha!!!
Bloody bright alright , now youll have to dull them down with something that goes bang !
Yes!
Very nice share....Good stuff....
Hey Scott!
Nice vid. Sorry had to drop out of the live😩😩😩. Catch you tomorrow.
Hey K Parker!
Do you have any new budget gun reviews on the way?
I dont really do "reviews" much. What did you have in mind
I'm surprised you didn't use a Paintball gun ! :)
Would if I had one
WoW !! It's the same color yo truck is WTW...
Pretty close!
How light-headed did you get spraying all that lol?
Ha! Oh none at all
Anyway great videos. Love ya
What do you recommend for the chains? I seem to miss a lot and cut my chains.
I hang my targets with 6” used belts from a round hay baler. You can hit them many times with no damage and the target still rings and swings
In the house
Hey Gunning!
Now, all you have to figure-out, is to breed deer so they stand-out against the background.
I’m here to tell ya . Lol with being that bright don’t need no zooms
Hahaha!!!
... ill give it a try because I have a 25 100 and 200 yard targets. And there hard to see
This is BRIGHT
Tried cheap stuff. Spend more repainting than what we paid for Rustoleum.
Funny people hate on your range and probably don't even got nowhere to shoot but wanna tell you to clean up etc 😂. I guess some just can't help theyselves
😆😆😆👍👍
Sorry but being an autobody tech and watching you paint made my eye twitch haha
🤣🤣🤣
Pre paint your deer a week before hunting day....green deer meat doesn't taste too bad😅
would be better if the white can sprayed as good as the green can
Yup, but then it would cost a lot more. Ha!
Major difference... Looks great... But I think someone's about due for a haircut LOL💪👌
Working on my mullet
You destroy that plate it looks like 1901 plate that was used in a ship for a food fight
👍🏽
Share with lunkers tv. They building a shooting range

Those $1. Cans must be fun to shoot...🤡
Painful to watch, and extremely wasteful. Several videos way better than this one, and only 3 to 5 min long.
