we have a 22 LR range of up to 15 m that we use to have fun and introduce new shooters. All are active targets, poppers, texas star, spinners, etc due to that immediate feedback. Th kids have fun!
I have a spinner ,I picked at a walmart. It's AR 500 and a lot of fun. I've mostly shot 22 LR and 9mm at about 20 yards. I've purchased a reactive or spring loaded falling target ( lollipop). I haven't mounted it on wood yet.
You guys are great! Thanks for keeping us up to date on the latest and greatest! You do a great job at keeping it fresh to! I love to watch you guys having fun with cool stuff. It would be cool to see the whole gang and learn a little more about you guy too! (like a meet the cast kinda thing, behind the scenes or the guys at work?) At any rate you guys do a great job at production and video editing! Well done! They need a youtube award for that.
I use STS Targets, I shoot all pistol Calibre’s, but they will work fine for rifle rounds, as they are BisAlloy 500. They also do steel targets rated for for 50BMG and can make them to the size or spec’s you desire.
Yeah, I blew through a buddy's steel target with a 300 Weatherby and a 180 grain soft point. Had to buy him a new one. He ended up happy with a free extra since the original was still usable.
I have 2 66% IPSA targets and one 24” square from DM Targets and a friend made me some KYL 22 lr targets for 100 yards and 200 yards. The 2 66% IPSA targets, I will setup from 750 yards away to 1,800 yards away with the 24” target at 2,200 yards shooting my Barrett MRAD in 338 Lapua Magnum.
What would you recommend for these calibers... just one target to shoot in backyard 50to 75 yards I have Henry 22 mag Henry 308 Savage 17 hmr AR 15 450 bushmaster HR 20 gauge single shot with bull barrel Thanks Keith
I was under the impression that rifle calibers needed to be shot between 50-100 yards away. You guys are right up on the target, are you using a specific type of ammo
Love steel targets ! I have some shoot steel 1/3 man size and shoot them with anything from 22lr to 45/70. Ain’t nothing better than a good rang of that steel !
I really enjoy your videos. Sensible content without a bunch of hyperbole. I would like to see a long range test of a K-31 with the mil GP11 ammo. A lot of anecdotal tales of long range accuracy. Would love to see a real test. Thank you.
It’s steel. Over priced IMO, when you can get steel from JC steel targets inc in Cheney wa for way less and they discount. AND they have better functioning targets.
Please demonstrate a 22-250 punching a hole, on the slow-mo camera.

I have 3 of the mid size torsos and they hold up nicely I got them for Christmas this past year and I got them from Scheels for 108.00 a piece

My 6.5-300 Weatherby is hard on steel..doing 6.5 Creedmoor muzzle velocity at 400 yards.
Try squaring up more with that shotgun, will help mitigate some of that recoil.
6mm arc at a mile with one!👍🏻

I have one of these, i shot it with my 300 prc and it help up great
How far away?
Yep, 204 Ruger blow right through 1/2" AR500 and a railroad tiw plate.
I do like the Caldwell products a lot.....
Make a shaped charge, a copper cone with C4 . Now stack those plates and give it a go. 😎

On Target...👍
hang some steel behind your paper targets you get the same ring when shooting at paper plus you get instant verification of a hit !!
I live in envy of you backyard.
I want to see a torture test to see how much these Caldwell targets can take.
What is the number of the new reloading powder, that was CFE and temperature stable?
FYI my Caldwell has no trouble with 22-250 at 400 yards.
Caldwell makes or Caldwell out sources and sells??

So much fun see what a 45-70 will do 👍
I Saw the video that Mark and Sam After Work. And they were putting holes in steel with a 45/70 .
@@Dwayne7834 I have seen that to a very good round
Let me know when they don’t overcharge for a piece of metal
Is this what you would use if it wasn't sent to you free?
3 legged rebar stand, custom bent to hold the target at a slight angle. Light weight, easy to move around, cheap to build/replace. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
10 inch plate... anything besides green tip 556
You can have all thisbwhen its free to ya !

11 minute Caldwell commercial as usual!
@@ramsaycountry1177 This channel is turning into 90% commercials.
Caldwell seems to be the same price. What discount are you talking about?
@@HuskyKMA exactly, anymore I rarely watch his videos.
I just checked both websites and the caldwell had the cheaper prices.
I have most of this spread; couldn’t pass up the deal. They work. Too bad they are made in China.
