I'm so glad the door knobs turned out so well. Some flippers tend to replace the original knobs with the modern ones and sometimes it makes me groan from disappointment. I'm really passionate about the original knobs. :D
I really liked these knobs, quite unique. I am pleased they cleaned up okay as sometimes the finish dissolves and you are left kicking yourself for cleaning them!! Lucky that wasn't the case this time! Thank you for watching :)
Those two nightstands were worth saving. I love their style. I think your choice of stain and finish was very good. Lovely color. And I'm glad the knobs cleaned up well, they're so unique.
Honestly, just keep doing what you're doing, that what attracted us in the first place. The fact that you keep finding different and unique items to save keeps it entertaining. Just be you mate 👍
These nightstands turned out great! Love that "new" color and am very happy you could save the door knobs. I think they're special and just give this unique look to the nightstands. I always enjoy watching your videos - you do great work! ❤
The work you do goes beyond restoration, and how to bring to life something that has been forgotten in time. Congratulations on the beautiful work and keep it up. A hug straight from Brazil
The nightstands have very good lines and with your magic touch, turned out quite nice. I like the way you softened the stain. They will be very complimentary to a bedroom. Carol from California
Hello my dear friend. I liked your work and your channel very much. You are very successful and thank you for sharing it with us. Best regards, greetings from Turkey
Thank you very much, I appreciate your kind words :) I am going to a wedding in Turkey in October, I have not been before and I am very much looking forward to visiting!
The white wash really helped bring out a different color to these pieces. I saw a lot of these style night stands while stationed in Germany, were very common in rental units. 😊
Yes the white wash was a good choice in the end! When I was researching these pieces, I did see a lot had come over from Germany so that makes sense! Thank you for watching :)
Really enjoyed this video. I’m planning on using a whitewash on an oak sofa table I’m refinishing so was interested in seeing how you accomplished this. Loved seeing the baby. My grandkids love bubbles too.
Excellent Video! The Lighter Color Really Helps to Modernize the Pieces! You Have a Great Editing Style. You Move the Story along but are Laid back and Relaxed! Isn't that Your Official Baby Furniture Inspector? Playing with Bubbles During Regular Business Hours! Tsk Tsk! 😀😁😂
Thank you very much, I try my best to tell a story with my videos so I appreciate you mentioning that! And yes, I will have to have a word with him about playing with bubbles on the job ;)
I've messed up a few veneer spots I know how frustrating it is, however the result looks great! They look like pickled oak that was really popular here in the USA in the 90s. Your little boy is a such a cherub 👼 thanks for sharing him ❤️
Hi 👋😊 Much as I would like to help I am a watcher not a doer. (Personal medical and life reason) So I don't think my input would be of any value. Nothing better than seeing a babies reaction to bubbles 🥰 You did a great job on the drawers and they looked so so much better. So glad you were able to restore the handles without problems they are lovely 😊
Beautiful work!! I REALLY like that it's not an 'overly drastic' change of the initial look. Just soooo much nicer. Impressive!! Howdy from your new subscriber from Texas! 🤠🤠
First time listener. Professional and matter of fact tutorial. From Pennsylvania,USA so glad to see your work keeping the look on your wood( without the orange and damage) and good knobs.Let us know how thst one side turns out with rhe new veneer. That young fellower certainly likes his bubbles. Congrats on his being part of the happenings . Puts life into perspective, doesn't it? Stay well.
@@flipitnation good luck with expanding your audience. We have many OZ people we follow, in a few different fields. Or the Kiwis next door. Be good. It can only get better.

They look great, glad you could get the veeer repaired. Do you like that screw gun with the tips built in? Where did you get it? And yes, adorable baby break.
I preferred the original colour, more keeping with the deco style. I don’t think all vintage furniture suits today’s trends. Lovely job on the repairs.
Good question! I had no intention of replacing the glass myself but thought the new owner might. I did consider removing them but because I hadn't seen a piece of furniture with them before, I opted to keep them on as to keep the pieces as original as possible.
White wash made a huge difference & I like it when people keep the original knobs, but I don't like these ones sadly!🤔😉 I subscribed because I like what you're doing, but I suggest you keep it varied and unusual (everybody seems to be doing mid-century modern).
I try to keep it pretty varied but I do like the odd mcm restoration. I don’t like the knobs either but I try to keep pieces as original as possible. Thanks for watching 😎
There were 4 men IIII , they saw a snake SIIII , they crossed the bridge SHII , it started to rain SHiI, so they put up their umbrellas SHIT=== just a 60 year old joke that I wanted to share with you. Shh, it is a nice day 😄
What was the temp and humidity when you were using the stripper? I have never had any luck with strippers, they always become so sticky, yours looked like liquid, any tips?
Quick question: your hardware cleanup trick..was that all 3 ingredients combined as in mixed together or 3 separate steps one after the other? I don't want to create an explosion!! Lol. I can't believe you found such a cool pair of nightstands. Out here in California plenty of singles but sadly it's rare to come across a pair. They turned out beautiful!!
Great question! Separately :) The acetone removes the clear coating, the bar keepers friend cleans them up and the polish - you guessed it, polishes :) Thank you for watching!
Great job! What's missing? Based on the hardware, it looks to me as if these originally might have had glass or mirror tops. If not, what are those 3 pieces on each top?
Sadly the glass was missing from both of the tables. If I was keeping them I would have replaced but is this case, it was not worth the expense when reselling. Thank you :)

Thank you, yes I thought so too!
These look great Cole!! White washing them definitely gave them a more modern look and feel 👏👏 Your little bubba is just the cutest!!
Thank you very much :) He certainly is ☺
Very nice project. The whitewash really toned down that orange hue.
Thank you, very happy with the results of the wash!
I love the brief appearance of your son. He’s adorable!

Hi, when you go to Sand the wood after using the liquid remover, do you let the wood dry first? Thank you
Those really turned out nice. Great job! Question, what are the metal pieces on the top for.
I believe there was a plate of glass on each table, the metal pieces held the glass in place
