    There aren't very many choices out there if you want to get an electric SUV that also seats 7! We were pleasantly surprised with the new Mercedes EQB, its a great urban SUV that drives like the regular gas powered GLB, but with quicker acceleration and an even quieter ride and cabin. Are you guys a fan of this Rose Gold exterior color?

    I own the EQA which is sold in Mexico but not US. I totally love it. Plenty of room (not like the old GLA style…you are dated there), and the interior quality and fit and finish blows Tesla away. The price is great for what you get compared to competitors (BMW, Tesla). When you get the car at night play with the LED ambient lighting it’s pretty cool. You are right they are very quiet, quick enough and good enough range. It’s my first electric and after living with it you just wonder why we put up with noisy, vibrating, smelly and polluting gas engines for so long. No more ICE for me.

    5:38 the red rear indicator lights are a fail and there's no reason for them. I just back from Europe where all cars have proper amber rear indicator lights. Mercedes doesn't fit sequential rear indicator lights on its European cars so there's absolutely no reason to downgrade them for North America.

    • @jeffs6090
      @jeffs6090 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Agreed. I wish the US had the amber turn signal law. You would definitely think if they make it for Europe, they could just keep it like that for everywhere else.

    • @owenchristofferson
      @owenchristofferson 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The EQB takes a simplistic approach to launch with only two trims, the EQB 300 4Matic and the 350 4Matic. The base 300 produces 225 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque.

    I test drove one and the road noise is noticeable. Same with the Audi Q4 however, the Q4 was a little less loud. I rated the DB’s using my iPhone and my Lexus 450h was lower than both unless I was engaging the engine. While the design does play a factor in the road noise, the EQB suffers from it being as this reviewer stated, the lower end of the totem pole for Mercedes. The interior in many aspects feels cheap. The doors feel super light and I don’t think there is any paneling or extra noise dampening measures for either the EQB or the Q4. Had Mercedes put a better quality interior together, it would provide a much more refined driving experience.

    Frunk doesn’t not exist. Frunk is a popular portmanteau of front and trunk referring to cars that have their storage spaces in the front rather than in the rear, as is more typical. It should be noted that our definition of trunk does not require it be located in the back in the first place.

    Man mercedes is loosing its prestige. I remember when mercedes used Naturally aspirated engines built to last, full leather tan interiors and timeless designs, now they give us this trash.
