Hi Dr Owie ! Wonderful video ! You gave great insight on both directions in regard to PhD or DHA. I am currently a MHA candidate and I am thinking about getting a DHA. How often do you see candidates jumping into a DHA program after getting their master’s ? Or do you recommend waiting a certain amount of time before pursuing? Thank You Again for sharing your knowledge! Best regards Jeannie
Hi Jeanniee, thanks for watching! It really depends on the individuals career goals, life commitments and financial capabilities. In my case, I worked for 2 years before enrolling in my doctoral program. All the best!
Hi Rama, Welcome to the Channel! In the U.S. it is not possible to get a doctorate without a Master's degree. However there are a few universities who offer a dual program where you can get your master's and doctorate degree at the same time.
I just started my DHA, my background is in biomedical engineering. I started out wanting to get out of the service side of healthcare and move to the administrative side but no I'm thing about teaching, can you become a full professor with a professional doctorate?

Hi Dr. Owie. Can you pursue a DHA if you get your masters in MBA-HC vs MHA?
