I’m so glad you found that helpful
Thanks Em - it has been super helpful!
Pleased you found a book that was actively useful. ✍️📝🖊️❤
@@CharlieBrookReads it definitely has been very useful!
Sounds really practical, and ditto I don't keep to a writing habit despite being in a writing group 😂
I found this very helpful. It’s only been a couple of months, so still a work in progress for me, but much better than previously!
It's what to write I struggle with most
@@Bessie-On-Wheels that is my current problem! The book does talk a bit about that as well, but mainly about lowering the level of challenge. I kept starting and stopping different projects because I was aiming for a full story or even longer piece of writing. Lately, if I’m not blogging or reviewing, I’ve just been picking out lines from books or headlines etc and setting a timer and just writing for 15 minutes. No hesitating or stopping to think for too long or editing until after. Something may emerge that I then carry on with. At least that is the hope! 😂 It’s definitely a lot of fun if not anything else!
I will give that a go, thanks
Oh, I still haven't read 4000 weeks I gifted it and always meant to get my own copy
You must! I think it would really resonate with you!
I'm signed up to various writing podcasts and then don't listen to them 🥴
I love a good writing podcast! Any you’d recommend?
@@spreadbookjoy I'm signed up to writing excuses, the creative Penn (joanna Penn), and I should be writing (Mur Lafferty).
@PageTurnersWithKatja thank you! I am subbed to Writing Excuses but not the others so will check them out!
