    love how much you show the accessory work you do outside of practice. most content focuses on the sprints and weights, so a lot of beginners don’t even realize the amount of warm-ups and prehab necessary to stay healthy over the course of a season

    This could surpass the previous one in views!!
    The people dont know what they have access to. 3 years ago there was nobody on yt with high quality sprint content like Mathias is putting here almost every week. Then, messiah with biggest calves appeared to spread the message of speed training. And that pullup personal best without training pullups from last video, thats insane

    I definitely would consider buying strength training programs, etc. I am not a runner, but I have incorporated some of your routines in my workouts. I wish you success in your next meet 👍🏻 I appreciate the amount of work that you put into all of your videos, the edits and music selections are awesome, and I like your style always on point 💪🏻

    Your flying 30m-runs looked very promising. After having done a lot training and training volume (e.g. your massive phosphate-sessions) before your training camp a period of fatigue and temporary small decrease in performance was nothing to worry about. The training had already been done and your body took his time to adapt. A very common reaction among athletes in between six or eight weeks before the start of the competition period. The important thing was to decrease the training load and to give your a proper period of rest at the proper time and that has been done. Now you are over the hump and you have reached the up-rising part of your development. A few fast runs (e.g. a personal best at 30m flying) and your mind will be convinced about your shape ;)

    Ive atched several different training videos of his....WOW!!!!! His training is perfect for skill players in football. I've watched some NFL RB's training videos and although they're impressive, they couldn't carry this guy's j-strap for speed strength training. He'd probably be a productive RB in the NFL with the right coaching! They'd benefit emulating his speed training!

  • @El_Suertero
    @El_Suertero 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    When you do assisted jumps why don't you fix the bands under your armpits?
    Do you (with your coach) (or did you) incorporate conjugate training methods in your training program? Atleast for strength and explosive power segment. For example, you do loaded jumps and assisted jumps in different sessions (and days) but you may try to conjugate them in one sessions and see if it get some benefits (it may look like 1-3 RPM squats > 50-70% squats > unloaded countermovement jumps > assisted jumps or something like that. Or if you take only jumps (plyos) - loaded jumps > unloaded jumps > assisted jumps. If you tried that and it didn't get you any benefits and improvements then ok, if you didn't - then you can think and talk about it with your coach to incorporate such method or regimen and see if it benefit you.
    Wondering also, do you do assisted sprints?
    Thank you for your videos, they are very interesting. As a child I had "sprinters talent" but had no desire to become competitive or Olimpic sprinter (was interested and involved in team sports more). I ran in 10.3-10.6 range and my most valuable trainnig were assisted sprints (downhill running with about 20-30m downhill and 20-30 on flat surface in relaxed maintainance regimen, I had perfect nature place and hill in my grandparent's village to do so at vacations) and plyos as I had no much time for additional sprint specific training. All the summer (2-3 months) I was running up and down that hill just for fun, did plyos up and down too and always improved when come back to team preseason training. So wish you all the best, you looks like nice person and athlete. :)
