Hi John, Great video which I just now discovered! One thing that would also be helpful to address is the possibility of patent infringement. Even if you do a patent search, there is no guarantee that there isn’t prior art out there or is lurking in the 18-month “black hole” between an application filed and publication. Consequently, how is the possibility of patent infringement handled in negotiating a licensing agreement? This would be bad news if the licensee invested in manufacturing and I as the licensor would not want to be exposed to damages incurred by the licensee. 😮Thanks!

If you can afford to file the application first, you should do so. If you can't afford the PPA, then try to license first with reputable companies. Good luck with your product!!!! -john
