  • With summer in full swing, it’s time to cool down that classic truck of yours. That’s right, roll those windows up and feel the cool breeze as Stacey shows just how easy it is to install this complete A/C system from LMC Truck. Now that you’re done sweatin’, let’s take a look at headers and intakes and get that motor performing the way it should. And don’t miss out on the ins and outs of turbos and super-chargers…which one fits your needs? All this and plenty of sparks in the garage on GearZ.

    Love the Revell model of Union Pacific's Big Boy 4006 steam locomotive, the real 4006 is on display at The Museum Of Transportation in St. Louis and the Union Pacific steam crew finished restoring Big Boy 4014 to operational condition after being on display in California for almost 60 years.

    When you bolt the plates to cover the holes in the firewall, wouldn't you put a sealer between the plate on the firewall to prevent moisture or air from possibly getting through? Great upgrade.

    • @jmptaz
      @jmptaz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you look at those plates they have like a foam backing to seal them when installed

    Would that small AC unit actually cool enough to make a difference? I mean like in Texas and other deep south states.

    Hey stacey isn't that what dry fitting and mockup stages are for? Beside any way it is better to cut the holes with air vent templates
    before you even think about
    going to the paint booth.

    I really enjoyed the show when it would come on regularly. I know the network screwed it up for him. The main thing is now a days is these shows are just an infomercial. Stacey never finishes projects on the show, I mean they have been dragged out to death. The network he originated from are just as bad. Well at least truck tech and Detroit muscle finish projects on the show. It may take them two seasons.

    No mention of installing refrigerant, or how you may have to have someone put it in. Also cut the holes before you paint to protect the metal from being exposed to humid air and corroding.

    Must be great to have an endless supply of available parts, tool's and money.
    To many companies have gone to manufacturers outside of the US and parts are cheap and don't last.

    Sorry dude, The cab should have been modified before painting to do a much much better look. I've done these kits and the panels look cheap and an afterthought in everything from trucks to F body and all brands.

    Video is titled new AC for old chevy but 5 seconds after halfway through you start talking about turbos/supers and you never go back to AC. I understand you've finished what you can, but not even half the video is AC so this is falsely titled video aka false advertising so that you can advertise other unrelated stuff. If a funny dog video is nearly half cats, that's false advertising.

    Add more hands on content and less hair. Always showing completed steps but not the labor that goes into it.
