Her lack of confidence started with her parents.
With women like this you have to patiently wait til the abuse takes it's course, how would I know? Because I was her, now days I'm stronger and more confident of myself and I will not allow a man to physically or mentally abuse me , no exceptions.... It took me years and numerous abusive relationships to come to this conclusion. I'm loved by a lot of people and best of all God will never forsake me HE thinks I'm awesome.

Not being willing to take abuse does not equal being unable to compromise or to see every little thing as a red flag/sign of potential abuse and then crucify the guy either. Learning to not become corrupted and broken in that way is a part of the healing process as well.

I have experienced being controlled and manipulated by my ex husband and all I can say, I'm extremely happy and blessed we got a divorce. I feel the problem stems from attachment. Plus having low self esteem and not knowing your true value. It's hard to let go sometimes and we convince ourselves everything will change or get better but it doesn't. People shouldn't waste their time in a toxic relationship.
