Amicalola Falls Drive To The Top

Updated Video of the drive up to the top of Amicalola Falls, The Lodge and Campground. It's kinda steep for people towing big trailers but not impossible. So we wanted to create a video for our fellow campers to show them the 18-25% grades on the way up.
The video ends in the parking lot for the top of the falls, the Campground is down the road on the left of that parking lot. The Lodge at Amicalola is straight ahead at that intersection.
Hope this helps to ease your mind and give you an idea of what the towing looks like to the Campground.

Thanks for the good quality video! We're looking at heading to Amiclola with a 30 foot trailer behind our F250 diesel, seems like it shouldn't have any trouble with the grade but having never towed up a mountain before I'm watching these videos to get some idea of what it might be like.

Thank you for your video. We are planning on a trip up there soon towing a 31ft 5th with a 3/4 ton truck. We are slightly concerned with the incline ourselves.

You all will be alright. Keep it in low when you get to the hill 1:10 min mark and just go slow. The first time we towed up there was a teardrop and a Honda Element with a 4 cyl. Pulled fine in low.

If you take the street way can you see the waterfall from the top?

Thanks for the vid. We are going up there next month in a 33 Ft Class C flat towing a Jeep Rubicon Wrangler 4DR. I was thinking about taking the Jeep off the tow rig in the visitor center's parking lot and having my wife drive up behind me. You think that would be necessary?

There is a large pull off right before the visitor's center, it's where this video starts th-cam.com/video/B9FC1etqkOo/w-d-xo.html This will make it easy to unhook and not have to backtrack from the visitor's center, which will be packed most likely.
If it were me, I would unhook due to the length grade. I have never towed with a super C.
