Parker? I have everything out except the heater core hoses. I did remove the hose clamps, but they are being a pain. Any suggestions?! Thank You

I also have run on to my first 2017 impala with a bad evaporator, looks like Chevy needs a recall , the. only autos with bad evaporator have been 1996-2009 dodge ,ram, trucks, this is the first GM sense 1996 to 2006 G6 Pontiac had evaporator problems
Me 2 I had two 2017 Chevy Impala had a LT and a premier midnight addition both had the same problem smh my head Chevy
I have a 2018 impala. The evaporator core went bad twice under warranty. It's got 45,000 miles on it now and the ac seems like it's not getting as cold as it should. Crossing my fingers its hasn't gone bad again.
Watched this video and yours other video with everything torn down. I have a 2017 needs the same performed on it. What documentation did you got by in the center console, radio, dash and steering removal? Seems I remember you saying there was a difference between them source materials (maintenance manual) and the model you were working on. Can you reference me to where I can find that material?

I got a ? I have a 2014 impala same body style with a 2.5 motor my ac gave out compressor won’t kick on there is refrigerant in lines did this car in video have refrigerant in lines ? I’m hoping I don’t have to go thru this

im having to replace the line that goes from the condenser to the compressor, any tips? Everything is sooooo crammed.

Best oil is ams, I use 5w50 for mine because of engine builder for those engine recommend it

I have a 2018 impala I got with 27000 miles a month after the ac went out put a compressor on under warranty. 2 days later hot air again said evaporator behind dash gm dealer changed under warranty now as of today first hot day roughly a yr later and ac is out again. Now I’m told out of warranty. Due to 37188 miles ugh

Well I’ve been fighting with the dealership, I decided I was gonna look it over myself, and defense to start with the ambient air sensor and the windshield moisture sensor , I jacked car up to get behind bumper for ambient sensor and seen wires hanging near compressor . So slid over to that side and found the main compressor wires was hanging and had been ripped off . But the odd thing was is the wires was stripped back and there was electrical tape wrapped around wires . So reconnected and the ac is working again . I called the dealership that installed the ac compressor to complain they just blew me off.

My 2018 impala has 45,000 miles on it now and the AC is starting to go out again. We had the evaporator core replaced twice under warranty already because of this issue. It's out of warranty now and I am praying that it's not gone bad again. It's such an expensive job.
Doug L I got quoted $3000 to fix it but I’m not gonna fix it because it’s gonna go bad again the permanent fix us to buy a different car not GM

Where us this guy located? I need to take my car to him. I'm having the exact same issue with my AC not running cool air. I put freon in it before but I heard a hissing noise coming from my vents inside the car so I was told that it's a hole in the condenser or compressor 🤦🏾♂️ I know nothing about cars and how to get them serviced. I just know that pep boys tried to charge me an arm n a leg to fix it. Anyone know where he's located?

Chevy sucks. We got this car so we wouldn't have to work on our cars. But 3 catalytic converters with this one going, ac not working this car is a nightmare and Chevy dont care!
