This is absolutely amazing. I’ve been sitting on my new belt for 45k (@121k now). I’ve always wondered how you did this. Thank you for this. This is appreciated. What about the fuel filter?
@@Autoenginecheck Thanks for answering me back, i watched ur video over 100 times, u Have the Only video On TH-cam Showing this Mount , i gave up for today, i'll try again in da morning, Does that mean Lifting engine slightly Higher with the wood on Oil Pan ?
Was the car already on jacks stand when you jack the engine or you just jack it up straight to the engine to get the job done . Another question please I drove my car through a flooded now it’s making noise when I turn on the engine then it give me rough idle when I tried to accelerate guck
Awesome thanks for this vid. I have a 2019 LT Impala. Been wanting to replace my belt, but now I got the idea. I currently have the original on still at 135k miles. It almost seems like you can do the timing chain from there . But idk. Thanks though.👍

Hello. How did you remove the pulley? The screw seems to long be pulled out
The screw is the long drawn pulley You can use the jack you used to open the mount up or down, I had no problem opening the pulley.
Thank you so much. The jack did the job. I got it off... But what size ratchet did you use for the tensioner pulley ?
@@patl2947 I see this was two months ago. I'm doing this job today. Did you ever find out what size rachet you need for the tension pulley.
@Kenney KatFish Ten Yard Fight
It's a 1/2 drive 2 inches length. I ended up using an breaker bar
Thank you for this video. How high did you raise the engine to take weight off support mount?
Raise the engine mount a bit and then remove the belt
@@Autoenginecheck thank you!

You might as well suggest changing the water pump if it has more than 70k miles, it's right there behind that black pulley, same install process.
Yes sir black pulley water pump same work
Where did you put the jack? And thanks for this video I was looking at it for alternator replacement
Oil pans jacked a wooden pich Otherwise, oil pans can be baked
Thanks FOR comment sir
I have the same car. Can I do everything that you did to take off the alternator or do I have to repeat your process plus eject the radiator fan?
I'm trying to figure out how to do my alternator as well it's litterly no videos of substance on how to replace an alternator but I'm sure this close
@@gabenolan5895 this was the best video. Just make sure you remember the belt routing system.
@@gabenolan5895 also be careful when disconnecting the radiator fan those little plugs are very fragile. I had to superglue mines back
@@gabenolan5895 you have to remove the fan
