One question about running the cable through the conduit. on my car (23'), the body side of the conduit (hidden unless you pull the conduit out from the body frame) is actually with reduced size and the existing wires already fill it full. so I can't run the camera cable through it. it seems to me that you can easily run your wires thought it. Did you cut a hole on the conduit (body side)? could I cut a small hole for the cable? any negative impact if there is a hole (will be hidden on the body side. thanks
When I install my rear camera, video appears upside down. The orientation of the camera on the oem spot is different than on the bracket#7 when installed
Is it possible to repurpose the OEM rear camera and place it into the front grill and connect it as a front camera to something like the Beat Sonic Android/Apple car play module since the module has RCA connections for adding additional cameras? Just wondering if anyone has tried this yet.
@@Subterraneanhomesiickalien It should work with most flat tire mounts. If your mount doesn't have a hole in the center, you may need to run the wiring through the wheel.
@@Victory4x4 disconnect the wiring as in breaking apart each connection? Would some sort of quick disconnect be a better solution? Nice kit - had the same question on disconnect when needing to access the 5th spare.

Yes, just remove the small button head that holds the outer bracket to the inner bracket and disconnect the wiring.

@@Trusty-Rusty Yes, you could wire in a waterproof multi-wire connector if you want to make it easier. We really like Deutsch connectors.
