What Does New-Found Water on Mars Mean for life?

  • Life, as we know it on Earth, needs liquid water to survive. In 2015, NASA scientists announced the historic discovery stating that, under certain circumstances, liquid water was found on Mars.
    The discovery could not have been possible without a rover called Curiosity that landed on Mars in 2012, and it has since found building blocks of life in an ancient lake bed.
    DCODE the continuing journey of Curiosity and the hunt for life on the red planet.

      There’s a popular theory about that and it’s most likely correct. Mars probably looked just like Earth before and had life. However, the core of the planet gradually cooled down, causing it to lose its magnetic fields which led the planet to be unprotected from solar flares which eventually turned Mars into what it is today.

    ON MARS:
    Carbon dioxide: 94.9%
    Carbon monoxide: 0.0747%
    Oxygen: 0.174%
    Nitrogen: 2.6%

    Mars called the Red planet has iron or rust which happens when moisture causes oxygenation of iron or what we call rust. With ice at the polar areas of Mars what took the NASA an eternity to claim water there?

    Well it rides on almost completely slick steel wheels, you don't think that's gonna do well in sand? It needed some deeper traction tread. But I'm not a rocket scientist.

    I know this video is old, but I think we started in Mercury, due to the Sun being so hot over the years, we moved to Venus. After Venus, we moved to earth, and since the Sun is getting hotter and bigger, Mars will be habitable and, be our new planet. Maybe in 10,000 years, Earth will be in the same situation as Venus and Mercury.

    Mars has atmospheres like our earth? How parachutes work on Mars and moon .please make a vedio on this subject.
    Thanks

    • @Official_Chivo.06
      @Official_Chivo.06 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The atmosphere on mars isn’t the same as the earth and there’s different gravity on the moon earth and mars so if you would use a parachute on the moon you would just keep flying in the air it would take a while to reach the ground Agin because there’s no gravity

    I think there was life on mars. I'm guessing the sun in its early days was alot hotter so the heat was more in favor to reach mars and make it like earth. Earth was probably hot as hell back then but now is obviously hospitable.

    • @Official_Chivo.06
      @Official_Chivo.06 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No the sun was cooler back when it first started and smaller the bigger it gets the hotter it gets. Mars used to have a atmosphere and a magnetic field to protect it from solar winds but mars lost the magnetic field and barely has a atmosphere so now it’s just super cold at night and super hot during the day depending on the season.
      Also earth was cooler back when life started but only in certain areas. Like some areas back when life started that was humid are now cold present day and some areas back then that was cold is now hot
