I like the magnaflow. I want to be fairly quiet until I nail it. I also like the DEEP sound better. I don't like high and raspy. I want the deep sound that rattles the neighbors walls.
@@jarmaljackson7455 how did you install the slp loudmouth on that year camaro? I have a 1993 z28 and I can only find the slp loudmouth exhaust for the 98-02 camaro z28's.
You are comparing exhaust notes on 2 very different engines... Yes, it matters! Go LT swap the 3rd gen or SBC swap the 4th gen and try again... With the same cat, and Y pipe.... Part of the reason the 3rd gen sounds like crap is the way the pipes are run. Good effort... but bot a valid comparison. Sorry guy...
The exhaust is ran in the same direction 3rd or 4 gen. Have you ever been under both of them? They are almost identical from the front floor pans back. This is a small block Chevy in two very similar cars with different brand exhausts. And the magnaflow seems to be the favorite even though it’s on a smaller engine. Thanks for the comment though.

I like the magnaflow at RPM but it’s too quiet at idle

I have a slp loudmouth on my 94 z28.... after watching this video I ordered a magnaflow cat back lol
magnaflow does great when cruising but gets a nice sound when you floor it! slp is just loud all the time.

@@Davidlorenz28 I had a shop modify it to fit. But if u hit any bump u it will scrape .. I ended up switching to a magnaflow cat back
Magnaflow does sound better.. too bad I already bought loudmouths lol.
Fourth gen hands down sounds better, third gen hands down better looking, plus favorite camaro body style.

My 91 camaro has a afterburner muffler n it sounds like shit

Its all a matter of personal preference. I think the Magnaflow sounded way better.
