He was pretty good against the Red Sox in the 2021 ALCS, but... had a big drop off for the WS against the Braves that year. Glad to see him get 2 wins in 2022 and help the Astros win it all... As I like to say... Framber On!
By the way when the 0-18 guy got a hit was also because he almost died with cancer a few years back and fought it and made he’s way back to the mlb and World Series .
while mancini was 0 for 18 he caught what was arguably a very series defining and series saving catch on the game before... if he didnt catch that ball i think we be playing today or who know we mightve even loss this on game 6 along with chas mccormick those 2 catches saved the season for us
As a Phillies fan, here are the 6 things that will forever torture my soul 😃 1. Game 5 bases loaded with 2 outs in the 2nd inning against verlander. Result: Rhys Hoskins strikeout 2. A runner in scoring position with 2 outs in every single inning except the 4th against verlander. Result: groundballs & flyouts 3. Runners at the corners with 1 out in the 8th, just lay down a bunt right? Result: Brandon Marsh Strikeout 4. Runners still at corners in the 8th with 2 outs. Result: Schwarber hits a missile down the line and mancini robs us of the tying and go ahead runs. Easily the most heartbreaking thing I've ever experienced as a fan of this team... 5. Bottom of the 9th. We've seen the script, just get Rhys or JT on base for Harper so pressly will be forced to pitch to him and we can AT LEAST tie this baby up! *chas robs jt at the wall, pressly pitches around harper, no hero tonight* 6. Game 6 2nd inning, Minute Maid's thick ass left field dimensions rob Edmundo Sosa of a 3-run shot. But that's okay, Schwarber gives us the lead in the 5th! *rob thompson doesn't let wheeler finish the inning, yordan alvarez circumcises a ball to orbit and delivers the astros their 2nd ring* So many things, so many opportunities 😢, but that's baseball and that's the beauty of the sport. The Astros deserved this one, hats off to them
@@lorenzogonzalez5408 yeah. 1+2+3 just kinda happen to all teams at one point or another in a postseason, win or lose. But 4+5+6... those are the heartbreakers.
I don't know how I old you are but you might be too young but baby do your research WE'VE BEEN CLUTCH CITY. We got that name when the Rockets won back to back CHAMPIONSHIPS. Go H-Town 🤘🏽
Yeah brother, but let's not lie to ourselves, the mid to late 90s was heartbreaking with the talent we had with Bagwell, Biggio, Derek Bell, and arguably one of the best closers to ever play in Billy Wagner.
I remember watching that game thinking Alvarez hit a sacrifice fly to that deep centerfield and then being shocked to see the camera pan up into the stands way up above the wall to see the fans going for the ball.
As a lifelong Astros fan, a native Houstonian of 39 years.. We all know that 2017 was a let down and was tainted... We have zero qualms about that. This year, Houston is just a solid, great team... Period. And I want to say my hats are off to the Phillies for not making excuses unlike the Mariners and our step kid, the Yankees. Respect to most Phillies fans and to the team as a whole. Anyone that wants to bring up 2017 with this team, is just hating at this point... Period. I wonder if the Yankees still "want Houston"?
@@jimboabbott not really because they performed above expectations. Let’s see if any of them make it to the hall! I expect not because you need a lot of vote from all the other teams cities anyway, so the only hall they will be in is the Cheaters of Texas Hall of Shame. Haha
@@toddw6716 Please deal with this that ring not going any where but to their home. The hall of fame does not define any one individual. At the end of the day they have to win before they get that. The last time I look The rocket still have his rings and he not loosing sleep about the hall. A lot of people who deserve to be there are not. So that tells me something.
As a dodgers fan, i’m not mad about the past cheating. This team deserved this.
I’m not mad at the Dodgers for cheating, too. They were all doing it
@@ZacTexC pretty much
What’s really telling is… The Astros beat the Dodgers and Yanks the exact same way they just beat the Phillies..
@@jacobjones5269 🥲
We did take it away from the dodgers and we should’ve gave the title to the dodgers but we definitely deserved this series
Christian Javier was the pitcher in Game 4 and lead off the no hitter
I’ve never seen Valdez pitch better than he did in this series. Just amazing!

they did the thing
I was there at the game and it was CRAZYYYYYY
You should react to Astros ALDS game 1 against Seattle.
Fr that was one of the craziest endings I've seen in a while
you should watch ALDS game 1 astros vs mariners
You should go back and watch game 4&5 we no hit them
YESSIR WASTROS

Dodgers Yankees braves did the same but they still sucked. #Dinasty
