Dear ladies, Eat seasonal fruits available in your region(a little sugar spike is necessary in the morning), do not consume refined sugar, eat less carbs , eat leafy vegetables, and finally do some exercises (butterfly yoga, breathing exercises, etc.) Make a balanced lifestyle and you'll recover with Change in your thoughts.❤
Yes! I’m not sure why people insist on taking supplements instead of eating healthy whole food that naturally contain these compounds. Inositol can be found in many foods, including: Citrus fruits: Oranges, grapefruits, and lemons are all high in inositol. Whole grains: Stone-ground whole grain bread is a great source of inositol, with 11.5 mg per gram. Hamburger buns also contain inositol, with 4.78 mg per gram. Beans: Pinto beans, kidney beans, and peas are all high in inositol. Bran: Bran is a good source of inositol. Brown rice: Brown rice contains inositol hexaphosphate, a molecule that has shown anti-cancer properties. Cabbage: Cabbage is a great source of inositol, and can be added to salads, wraps, sandwiches, soups, and stir-fries. Nuts: Almonds and peanut butter are both high in inositol.
@@eljofrva I agree it's best to get nutrients from food when you can, but I remember being in tears at an appointment with my naturopath because I was so exhausted from planning meals and snacks with the right number and amounts of foods to get everything I needed in the levels I needed them, I was driving myself crazy. She reassured me that taking supplements wasn't giving up or doing it wrong, and that I would have to eat a whole house full of vegetables to take in and absorb the amounts of some of the nutrients I needed at the time. I had so much less stress when I allowed myself to supplement some vitamin C and K here, or some zinc and magnesium there. It's not an either/or choice. It's great to know the food sources of the nutrients you're targeting and eat a nutrient-dense diet, but it's also okay to _supplement_ that diet with some extra vitamins here and there when you need them.
I live in Europe, cherries are only cheap at some places, blueberries are always expensive also I feel you. I also feel like I’m bigger de to expenses. I love eating healthy but it’s more expensive 😅
Also, make sure you get rid of your stomach issues if you have any! Vitamins and nutrients of foods might be not absorbed if there are existing tummy issues
That's good news. I gained and lost weight again. But I have apples added more to my diet at home and sweet potatoes. And some ginger powder for my cramping and bloating sometimes. My PMS symptoms vary. But the addition of apples have helped. I don't know many women like myself with light skin whose PCOS symptoms show scars, acne, and the worst hirsutism. But my cycles are still coming and although irregular, I am happy. That's a great sign. ❤
Yes but when to eat it and how much ,very important. I'M TROPICAL so it was a dietician who first told me about proportions and timing very important. It is very important to note that while some fruit may help ,but one must whatch out for the liver ,milk thistle, dandelion and choline are very important here ,for only the liver processes fructose, and guess what insulin resistance, or fatty liver is not o ly from carbs but fruits as well.check for glucose index and load ,then it will help on proportions. I only resorted to the berries ,pomegranate and pineapple, but i would also take papaya and kiwi specifically for the gut but still on the amount ,sometimes i do cheat on anything else which is very little. All i can say last is BLACK SEED OIL ,and water filter and do detox and fasting to lower ,sugar ,anti body, androgens.Black seed is fundamental in hormones imbalance it does reduce the anti bodies.
Hello Tallene. Thanks for your amazing channel! I consume all these wonderful fruits and much more! I think I need more raw veg in my diet though - I eat cooked vegetables with golden rice… Exercise-wise: cardio = usually 10-15 mins of sprinting / interval running or stairwell or cross fit . Slow weighted training everything else, including mostly lower body/ booty weight training… good for my petite and curvy figure I definitely have a high carb tolerance but I’m consuming wholegrain brown stuff that isn’t gluten-free - I love my wholegrain carbs - I feel like nothing fills me up and satisfies me as much as brown carbs lol … what should I do? Should I go gluten-free?
what’s a good pcos diet for someone to go on if they’re a very picky eater? i’m willing to try mushrooms and lettuce. but im not a bug fan of vegetables. i just got diagnosed with pcos today and never heard of it so i want to get as much help as i can
I'm not a professional, but inositol (40:1 formulation) has really helped me with my intense cravings. It didn't decrease my appetite (so I can still eat normally), but I noticed a reduction in cravings
Interesting …. Fruits spike my blood sugar, and since PCOS comes with insulin resistance, how does it not spike insulin in people who don’t yet have Diabetes? Or elevate blood sugar, since they are high in carbohydrates and fructose.
I just commented on that topic. I think that people are not at all knowledgeable about what PCOS is and they easily trust every person on the internet. Advising someone with PCOS (and very likely insulin resistance) on foods, in this case fruit that is full of sugar, is like giving an alcoholic a list of alcohol to drink. So that he freely drinks what harms his health and life. These days, everyone on the internet is an expert...
@@Bea-xc7wy I agree with you. Fruit except in very small quantities- like what you’d garnish a salad with is not for anyone with insulin resistance. Most of her advice does seem to be pretty good, but you def. still need to filter it. I’m looking for some you tube accounts that I can recommend to my teenage daughter that have very sound nutritional info for pcos. She’s doesn’t yet have the knowledge to weed out advice that isn’t 100% sound. She’s still learning, and I want to direct her to some reliable sources of info. Can you recommend any accounts that fit the bill?? Thanks!
