We were also in totality in SW Ohio. It was the most surreal and beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. To top it off about a month later we saw the Northern Lights. In Ohio!
It's interesting that you mention a headache. I know a person who learned astrology from a well known astrologer. This person said to my friend that the energy of eclipses is not good; that it's not good to be outside when it's happening, much less look at it. It felt right to me when I heard this (for other reasons, as well) and so I never look anymore. I stay indoors until the "event" is over. Food for thought.

It was like the one in 2012, awesome creator in the heavens. Many here in Jasper indiana seemed expecting more unexplained hype.😅

When i saw The Total Eclipse off the Sun in 1999 the Whole Sky went totally Pitch Black ⚫
