Your Mom and I are supper proud of you Laura. Our goal your whole life was to teach and train you in the way that you should go. We can see that in your life in your work and as a wife to Grant.
You are a very you know you can run all the equipment and you go out and do the job and get them done and never you jumped right in and when something's broke to help fix it or you'll fix it yourself if nobody's around I miss working on the I wish I could find a phone to work on I love Foreman to I love watching all your you guys all rock use work hard and he's play harder if it wasn't for farmers the rest of the world would not be eating
Dear Grant, you may started on the worst field your parents owned but now you got Laura, thhats compensates for everything. May you have a long and wonderful life together. :)
Im NOT a farmer but love the two of you and your stories. I enjoy it so much. While I'm not a farmer, I know I eat because of all of you that are farmers. God Bless You!!!!
I am so glad I found your channel. You two are what we need in agriculture today. My late wife and I were where you two are now in 1968. We had a wonderful life and got to do it with the love of my life. God bless you two.
Your both honestly an inspiration for many. Showing that true American old school values still mean something in a day in age many seem to have forgotten that. It’s so good to see people like you are here doing what your families have done forever!
Have you ever heard your tractor is bigger than mine! The back tire is bigger. I'm so glad I found your channel. I have only seen a few videos but I have learned so much. You & Grant & family have done so well & love what you are doing. Great videos.👍🚜🚜🚜
My husband and I love your videos. I am a retired ballet teacher and dance studio owner and my husband is a retired university professor. We have learned so much from you and Grant about a profession and life totally different than ours. You guys are great!
Good for you and Grant! You are the future of farming and America needs more young farmers to keep feeding the world. Continued success and prosperity!
I am the 6th generation of a farming family. My brother and his kids and grandkids do the farming. I'm not too far from retirement from my "day job", I will go back there to help him until I'm too old to do so. I left the farm for 40+ years, but it never, ever leaves you. It's hard to explain to those that don't have that connection to the land and the way of life. God bless both of you. :)
JJ SS. I performance my Massey Ferguson here in ALBERTA. Adore Laura and Grant I do! Teaching my Boys to be Top dawg. Well better than this Old dawg. Just sharing the ins and outs of being a Farmer. (Who used to be Military then Toolmaker then CNC guy.) coming back home was..interesting but my World is the arms wrapped around me.
So, y'all are growing up in every way. I stopped following for a year, I was worried about you. Very humbled to admit I was wrong. Please treat each other with respect. You will do well. Be blessed. May the farm overflow and your family grow. Respect
Really nice to see you guys taking that next step of farming together. Grant talking about his family homesteaded the property back in 1878 reminded me of something I learned just recently. My great, great grandfather was born in 1874, and I just happened to be born on the exact same day 90 years later.
What a great American story. Family farmers built this country. Love that you are generational stewards of your land. Maybe urbanization is not yet a threat in your area, but I hope that you will consider putting deeds on your land so that it will be protected from development, and remain farmland forever.
Good decision on ropes vs chains! Back in the early 70s my cousin in North Dakota was helping her dad pull out a stuck tractor with a chain. She was on a tractor without a cab and the chain broke and swung back and hit her on the side of her head. Thankfully, she just broke a tooth and was knocked unconscious, but didn’t sustain any long term damage.
I used to work in NYC in a office building. I thought I would never want to work on a farm. It seemed unappealing. I prefer the A/C office I was in and did not want to be on a hot farm. Then I moved to PA and saw a lot of farms. I now have an outside job and can't imagine ever going back to a job working in a cubicle and not having fresh air and freedom. Laura, you have such a beautiful smile that just brightens our day. I know your putting on a happy face for the videos and Im sure your tired and have bad days like everyone else. What is the most insightful thing about your videos is your teaching many people what it is like working on a farm. We need more farmers. Farmers by me, some of them are selling their land or trying to as they are not making enough money. Many diary farmers don't make enough money and are struggling. I hope our country continues to support farmers and the government continues to support you and not allow anymore Chinese (who are connected to the China government) to buy our farms. I'm sure you don't want your channel getting political but we need to be aware of what is starting to happen in our country. Thank you for your videos, and I pray God blesses you, your marriage and your farming.
You have acquired farm knowledge the way your Grandfather and Parents have hoped you would have. Grant has done the same. Now you both are taking steps together, based on your combined wisdom. We in the Community are watching, learning and cheering for the both of you. 🤗
IT MAKES ME HAPPY TO SEE YOU GUYS SO HAPPY, I LOVE THE WAY YOU INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER AND WORK TOGETHER. I HOPE ONLY GOOD THINGS HAPPEN FOR BOTH OF YOU.
You all have the best of machinery, myself being a fourth generation family farmer, I had my challenges with keeping my Pops cotton equipment kept together, you do a very professional job,wow 6 generation home stead farmers is Ausome and unusual you must do a great job marketing your crops I myself really became good at selling puts and selling calls, brokers are always telling farmers to do the opposite and buy puts and calls, anyway your doing something right 👍
You watch the news and the world seems screwed and nuts. Then you see this channel and you see this young couple and you feel warm, comfort, hope and genuine happiness. Great work, you two are adorable and such hard workers. Just lovely, keep it up and all the very best.
We have so many farms that were sold by me and home's, schools, strip malls were put up farmland is going fast, I'm in Illinois south of Chicago just5 miles from Dyer Indiana we NEED FARMERS LIKE YOU
Absolutely love the way you two have carefully mapped out your future. Farming and farmers are the backbone of this country. There would be no country without farming and the pioneers who settled the Midwest and the plains. The majority of the city people have no idea where their food comes from beyond the grocery store. Farming is no vacation. You both make it real to your viewers. I also follow your dad. The government has made it and making it terribly difficult to be in your business. It was government regulation and price regulations that drove my uncle out of the dairy business. He simply eked out a living amidst regulations and mega companies price fixing at levels that drove him and other family owned farms out. Stay well and think about reaching out to politicians with the truth of what DC is doing to your industry.
I enjoy watching you two going through the life of working a farm. I always thought farming could be the life, but as I got older, life got in the way. I found the love of my life and decided to marry her. To support a lifestyle we were used to, we went to work.. life was good to us. We had our knocks along the way, but we made it. We purchased a hone in 1991 where I still live alone. My wife died in 2023 from a long struggle with cancer. Living as a widower is not the life of Riley. God is the only reason I make it through each and every day. I tried to see women, but it never worked for me. I will not give up on looking. She is out there, and misses right will come along. I wish both of you a long, happy, and long life together. I have enjoyed all you have videoed and released. Wonderful, I can't thank you enough for the folsom entertainment. Again, thank you, and do not stop what you are doing together. Together is the only way.
We only have a 1.7 million people here, but the farmers are a huge part of the economy of the state. Farms/Ranches are the backbone of the state. If you think it's fly-over country, fine. Just don't look down your noses when we say we're from Nebraska. We're damn proud of our farmers and ranchers and the food they put our our tables.
You two are made for each other and I love to watch how you are with each other. I can tell that you both love each other so much! I can see you both being very successful kin the farming operation! God bless you both!
This is what America is all about! Its great to see honest, hard-working people making it happen. God bless you guys and I fully support all your efforts. The world needs more folks like you!
So true, guys. We are just passing through this life. While we are here we are stewards of our land that we’ve been blessed with. Really appreciate you both and your view on life and God. Absolutely certain both of y’all’s families are proud of you both.
Thanks for the update/back story. I have been following you for quite a while, but not as far back as LG. Hope you keep everything running between the ditches!
Laura, you are my idol. I want to be just like you when I grow up. My father is a farmer he is from 8 generation. I love farming with my father, so thank you for telling me the truth about farming. You taught me to be independent in 2 years. I will be able to drive the grain cart , so thank you for improving my farming knowledge to so thank you so much
It’s so awesome to see young people like you and Grant with such a maturity and genuine humility that goes to show that the next generation is not lost to social media and woke ideals and other terrible influences. Good for you!! You are an inspiration for me-and I’m 51years old!! Please don’t stop sharing your lives with us, you and Grant are what gives me hope!!
Laura and Grant you both are a great couple. It’s great that you’ll be farming your own land. I like how humble Grant is when he said about the semi that it’s old but some older machines are better than the new vehicles. I can’t wait for planting season to start to watch you both work
❤ Congratulations on your success. Having you share your joys, loves, and struggles have helped us to learn and appreciate our farm families. Thank you and all farm families for all you do.
You are fortunate to have your family to give you support and encouragement to continue their legacy. For everything you do today builds on yesterday. I have always hated working for someone else, selling my service and leaving it all behind when the particular company I was working for; merged, went bankrupt, moved or whatever. Everything is temporary and unfulfilling. You’re lucky beyond measure.
I am so proud of you and Grant. You put in lots of time and energy. You follow one good decision with another. Your work ethics are so refreshing. It is a joy to see you take steps to keep your farm growing. Keep doing what you've been doing and you will be alright
Laura, I was concerned something was wrong when you didn't post for a little while. But now you share the opposite; things are wonderful on LG Farms! Congratulations from the bottom of 420K subscribers' hearts! We are so thankful to journey with you two.
Grant and Laura, what a wonderful explanation you have given on land stewardship. No matter what size your farm, if you have never worked land, it's hard to understand what that word means. Our family farm was started in 1906 and now our son is running it. Our grandson it's already helping even though he is only 10 years old. He will be 5th generation. I also understand your comment regarding newly turned Spring soil. That is my favorite smell! You will be very successful with your new venture and yes I am sure your grandchildren Will be running that tractor. The tractor I bought for our farm in 1995 Will be run this summer buy our grandson. Good job guys!
You guys are such an inspiration, and a breath of fresh air from all the nonsense and garbage that sadly, appears too often on social media. Two hard working, down-to-earth, generational stewards of the land. Laura and Grant, job well done.
This has to be one of if not the best video's of you two together to date. Laura, you were so sweet, cute and happy in this one. Grant and you compliment each other. I envision or imagine what you two will be like in 20 years still doing this work. Work? Not sure that's the right thing to call it. You make it sound like fun. But as someone older that has wore themselves out, Laura, stop putting those heavy bags on your shoulders and carrying them around. It will take a toll in time and your frame and weight can not be suited for it. Just being honest. You are the hardest working gal I've ever seen particularly for the work you do and the pace you do it at. Nuf said!
Really excited for you two and the direction you've chosen for your channel. What a beautiful homestead you've got! I'm SO excited to see you farming together from now on. Just keeps on getting better and better. Take care and we love you guys!
Congrats to you both- you have accomplished so much! It's good to hear your dedication to the land. Thanks for sharing your way of life with the rest of us.
Im at 15:00 of the video & I just want to stop & make sure to say thank you to you both for sharing your lives to us. Its been a lot of fun watching you guys grow in life & with farming.
So awesome to see you guys starting your own , It's gonna be hard but the rewards are SWEET!! Good Luck and I look forward to seeing a lot of you guys this year .🌽🌽🌽
I really like the natural plot line. You are not only harvesting crops, you are harvesting TH-cam viewers. What a record this will be for your kids and grand kids to watch. These videos are an investment in the future. I wonder what format and platform these images will be viewed on in the future. I really like how you integrated the tow rope plug in the video.
So happy for you guys, not a farmer here. Wish I would have grown up on a farm like yours. Glad to see gen-z doing good for themselves and their community!
I have no knowledge on farming and I have been binging your videos and learned a lot. One big thing is appreciation for the hard work farmers do for all of us. I live in Alaska we have farming on a much smaller scale. Thank you for what you do everyday for America. 🇺🇸
It's sad but here on the east coast, farms only survive maybe 2 or 3 generations then get sold to a developer or for a school, I worked on a couple of farms while in school certainly not for the meek or a little lazy people. I seen at least 8 to 10 farms disappear to developers, most were only 250 acres or less, but still niceties see.
Laura's face lit up after her Dad's truck pull. A very close farming family. Wonder if there's worries about chemical spills from train derailment in her area. Seems like an epidemic of train issues all of a sudden.
Very interesting to see all this big equipment in such great shape. I'm in Vermont and we don't have that. My tractor was a 1952 Ford 8N, then all the rest of my equipment was from 1953 - John Deere 1010, John Deere 430 crawler, Air Force surplus Hough loader, Ford 4-yard dump truck, Ford stake body. You do have to learn to fix stuff when it is that old.
You guys are awesome! Beautiful people! Thanks for what you do to keep food on our tables. It must be so rewarding to do your work. You seem so happy and positive! Stay that way! The best of everything to you both!
I like that comment she said (that's why I keep you around grant) nail helps traction, scotty mice patrol agent, you guys are great and great people wish you the best
Your Mom and I are supper proud of you Laura. Our goal your whole life was to teach and train you in the way that you should go. We can see that in your life in your work and as a wife to Grant.
Love yuns 💙💙
Great job dad!! What a lovely young lady!!
I agree 100%. Laura has come along way in a short period of time.

It is so great to see a young couple that want to continue the family business, your parents must be really proud. May God bless and protect you both!
The look on Grants face as he's got Scotty on his lap....priceless 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Grant doesn't look like a cat person...

You two young adults are a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. No editing needed just good farming videos.
This world needs more Grants and Lauras - hard working, passionate, and honest farmers!
Great to see dedicated young farmers with a clear vision for their future and respect for the land.
Just started watching your channel, and I’m loving the videos. You guys work so well together. Keep on living the dream. Cheers Hans
I wish more younger folks were as level headed and motivated as you and Grant.
Just found your channel and I’m learning a lot. Your sunny disposition really make the learning fun.

I am so happy for you. Also just a bit envious that I couldn't stay on the farm in 1965-66. None the less, I am super happy to see you succeed. 😀☺🤪😜
Your videos always make my day. But this one. This one was special. Sincerely thankful for generously allowing us to be a part. All the best!!

I am so happy to see you all rejuvenate old equipment and give it new life. Keep it going and Happy Farming.
You guys really are a bit of inspiration, even to an old guy. I think we all appreciate every video you put out. Thanks for everything you do :)
Awesome, I always tried to wipe the hydraulic tips off making sure they were clean! I MISS THEM DAYS A LOT! GOD BLESS ❤💚💛

Thank you for your back story. Best of luck and God bless
So awesome to see you guys starting your own , It's gonna be hard but the rewards are SWEET!! Good Luck and I look forward to seeing a lot of you guys this year .🌽🌽🌽
I’m a crop duster in Nebraska and my family farmed out by Aurora. We just rent the ground out now!
It has been a great journey....love the channel and content! Hope it continues!😉👍
Wow, very cool announcement and explanation and I thought you were going to tell us something boring like you were expecting 🍼
Laura's Big Wheel 🚜
Congrats to you both! Love your dream for the future of your family.
You two ARE the American dream!!! Thanks for sharing your lives with us! Well done.
I really like the natural plot line. You are not only harvesting crops, you are harvesting TH-cam viewers. What a record this will be for your kids and grand kids to watch. These videos are an investment in the future. I wonder what format and platform these images will be viewed on in the future. I really like how you integrated the tow rope plug in the video.
there was no one in that truck. it was a complete setup
Someone needs to make Scotty his own little seat for the tractors and combine.
Or at least bring a cushioned cat basket for the secondary seat when he rides along.
So happy for you guys, not a farmer here. Wish I would have grown up on a farm like yours. Glad to see gen-z doing good for themselves and their community!
I'm all psyched up for another cycle of planting to harvest with Laura Farms! I feel like I'm getting a degree in ag.
I have no knowledge on farming and I have been binging your videos and learned a lot. One big thing is appreciation for the hard work farmers do for all of us. I live in Alaska we have farming on a much smaller scale. Thank you for what you do everyday for America. 🇺🇸
17:53 I was literally thinking: “Cats are so dumb! No way Scotty will make that jump.” And then I fell off my chair…
Wow, Laura and Grant, great video. I can't believe how long I've been watching your videos aa well
It's sad but here on the east coast, farms only survive maybe 2 or 3 generations then get sold to a developer or for a school, I worked on a couple of farms while in school certainly not for the meek or a little lazy people. I seen at least 8 to 10 farms disappear to developers, most were only 250 acres or less, but still niceties see.
The look on Lauras face while Grant was talking pretty much says it all. Great job girl!!
I am not a cat person but Scotty is cool in my book 👌
I feel the same.
You guys are awesome! Beautiful people! Thanks for what you do to keep food on our tables. It must be so rewarding to do your work. You seem so happy and positive! Stay that way! The best of everything to you both!
Grant: “I think we should check the oil first”
Laura: “Smart!- that’s why I keep you around, Grant”
Ouch!🤣
I can’t believe all of these years have passed I’ve followed you from your beginning. I remember your college days and your car lol
I like that comment she said (that's why I keep you around grant) nail helps traction, scotty mice patrol agent, you guys are great and great people wish you the best
