WPL B14 with a low profile

I had an idea of modifying a WPL B14 to a lower profile, not exactly a lowrider, but low and stable. The car i bought dirt cheap from a local swedish r/c store turned out to be a Fayee FY01 (they didn't know the difference...) with plastic gears and non proportinal steering, but the body and frame in general is identic with a B14, so I didn't mind. It was really cheap! To make it driveable I use WPL 2-speed gearbox with metal gears and RBR/C high speed brushed motor, Hobbywing WP1060 esc, Dumbo RC radio and a steering servo with metal gears. The modification took some time but I'm really happy with the result! Hope you like it!

now this is really good, a great final result. Thought cutting the arches was going to end badly but it worked so well. Excellent! 👍🍺🇬🇧

Thank you very much Carl, glad you like it. It takes some time to modify the hardbody but it's nice to see the result when it works. It's freezing cold outside - 6 centigrades below zero plus ice and snow - so a small drift on the garage floor was what i could do right now! 🥶🥶👍👍

turned out great, i like the stock motor and gear box on 3s lipo, it's fast and doesn't break easy. but the dual speed is the best
