With all those nice plugins you guys absolutely need to make it possible to automate submixes and even the master. Please and thank you! (also adding more than 4 Fx slots per program/submix etc 🙏)
Also the functionality to rearrange fx slots would be such a godsent. Oh, and not to forget, the possibility to "move start AND end point" simultaneously, like any other sampler can do. Maybe also a graphic eq with some loudness metering options like LUFS etc... Thanks in advance AKAI team.
I know, I understand, but I prefer to work in standalone mode. That's actually why I bought the MPC One in the first place, to avoid my computer screen. What's the point of standalone if you still need to hook it up to a PC to get some basic functions working? It's just annoying. Same with FlexBeat, half of the functions aren't there in standalone.@@hsn10

This is great! Years behind the curve, but better late than never. WE NEED AUTOMATION ON SUBGROUPS AND MASTER OUTPUTS. It would be nice to have GLOBAL OUTPUT EFFECT slots that apply the same plugin/settings/automation simultaneously across all outputs. Global subgroup plugin slots would be a dream as well. 🙏🏾
Is there a way to perform with the actual pads instead of the touch screen/mouse clicks? Having the 4x4 FX layout right there and not being able to use it with the pads feels weird idk :S Also been trying to assign each FX slot to the pads in Contoller Mode in my DAW and the plugin doesn't seem to have separate parameters to each FX slot (why tho?), making it tricky to assign them to the pads. I haven't yet found a solution but maybe I am missing something (hope so). The plugin itself is pretty good imo (although I miss some options like being able to have more than 1 bar per FX) it's pretty versatile and it's great having it standalone, as many also said it'd be really nice being able to automate inserts in the master and submixes tho.
The MPC afaic is bout the most versatile sampler / sequencer workstation out there. If Akai could just add stems, a melodic warp algorithm and a grain delay it would be a game changer

I followed the loading of the plugin exactly as Andy but mine does not work. I can load up every other effects plugin and they work fine. I already downloaded and activated it so it should work...
Automation as everyone has said , needs to be recordable, ive made whole song that i have to save as a wav or mp3 then i cant edit anything about it without having to re-do all the automation again , its a huge limitation , still, very cool stuff here, but i hope the next project will be fixing the automation , my mpc one is my favorite tool to use but needs a few tweeks
I think the automation is saved as part of the project so.... it's 'recorded' in that way. But you can also just record the final version to your DAW or Model12 or whatever.
Agree… - automate FX is key - draw custom scratch FX would be huge I see something in the manual about editing a preset or making one from scratch, in grid mode....but I cant seem to get that. granted im using the Trial. does the Trial have some features disabled? adding: in the preset editor I see pads labeled....but I cant seem to figure out how to preform Flex Beat from the pads. it is VERY cumbersome to have to go into the channel editor inserts to mess with Flex Beat. I would actually buy this if you could make your own FX preset [not preset of presets, but custom edits to each FX], if it could be performed from the performance tab with the pads, and if you could record [automate] your performance. while here: all the Tube Synth presets have the cutoff assigned to ver modulation and the Jura presets all have the Arp enabled. is the ANY way, in a pref or something, to disable those. its extremely frustrating having to turn those off for each preset id like to preview. it actually prevents me from using those plugs. thanks
Perhaps there's more to this than meets the eye, but right now this looks like it's all presets and no parameters. Surely that's only going to have those of us who've been slowly migrating away from Akai MPC, towards an Elektron / Roland SP / Yamaha FGDP combo, thinking that it's maybe about time to start picking up the pace.
You can make custom settings. If you’re migrating, migrate. People aren’t interested in what you say you’re to do. Just do what you need to and be happy.

Please provide the name of the instrument and patch you started the beat off with. I heard you mention Jura midway through the beat making process and the melody patch you started the beat with was so FIRE i downloaded the trial version of Jura to see if i can find the patch.
Real cool except can we please have a new standalone device with more than a pitiful 2gb of ram to run these plug ins? It's 2023, ram is cheaper than ever what's the hold up 😞

I have a feature request. In other daw’s we can freeze or utilize audio suite in pro tools to “bake” effects into tracks. Lately i have been finding utilizing plug ins for my mpc is forcing me to set the sample rate at its highest, which of course then cancels me from being able to utilize this because of latency. Could we get a way to bake or freeze effects in, so we could free up processing?? I love all the effects and new stuff but as its getting more advanced its maxing out the limits of the machine. Id love this one feature! Truth be told, it would be game changing! And if im slow and there is already a way to do this please do tell! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 this plug is looks super cool

I don't see any settings for that anywhere. I've been poking around the user interface and it doesn't seem like there's much editability... it's the effect they got programmed in... take it as it is.. or leave it. THAT SAID.. .there's 16 x 7 or around 112 fx to choose from so it's pretty fun and with all the options (looping/hold/one-shot as well as automation) it's a whole lot that can be done. Surprised there's no edit menu for the actual stutters and scratches though.. or any way to load your own versions in. Maybe on future versions.
338 presets.... I was just looking at what they had for pre-setup banks... there's way more presets than actual banks. There's a LOT of presets... some fun stuff with pitch shifting too... definitely a great waste of an hour or so digging through them!!
Final comment... with quantize turned off you're able to launch these presets at whatever timing you want so for example with the turntable slow-downs.. you can time them to start mid-beat to get whatever 'timing' or 'speed' you want. Not saying that's the same thing but there's still a lot that can be done.
Final final comment... details from their website says: * Detailed pattern editor with snap, adjustable curve types and envelope tools * Export or import pattern presets in .fnv format compatible with Gross Beat ™ * Dry / Wet mix * Some features not available on the standalone version OK, there you have it.. on the DAW version (which you get with the purchase) you get an editor. But on that last bullet item... I'm pretty sure that's referring to 'no editing' on the MPC standalone.
I don’t know if I like all this new tech. Are we losing the ability to be creative in our own way, are we losing the talent and skill to this A.I? Does anyone feel the same? As a beat maker I want to learn to play instruments. I love building beats from ground up, where is the sense of accomplishment in just pushing a button and then a beat appears.
This is not AI. All the beats in the video were made by me. The plug-in an effect that can be applied over your beat adding a modern touch. The MPC doesn’t generate a beat for you.
I had an instance of FB assigned to PAD 10 where the vocal sample is assigned. I used a FB preset that incorporates Pitch-shifting creating the effect. You'll see me turn the plugin on which engages the effect.
@AndyMacMPCclub Please, Please find a way to incorporate standalone Sample stem separation. Even if it's some type of 3rd party live service like the Splice integration.

hi AKAI I love you... the love I have for my mpc one I don't have for any living thing in my life it's a beast that people don't even know how to work with. it's like mpc colors and every punch from every drum machine you desire with those akai Compressors. a standalone daw with mpc colors, don't even listen to negative comments it's not underrate it's underappreciate, I'm for my mpc one from the day I got it every day till today and probably tomorrow ps: I have mpc one og version ethernet is really bothering wish you put expander and that vintage eq like vocal plugins in mpc og versions next update I can not activate them through internet and if you couldn't I would get it I already have everything I need
@@AcidSh33tz from the oldest mpc to the newest ALL of them have something in common even tho there are several different people working in each one there is something there that I could say all of them having it that there isn't in any other sampler or hardware and definitely not any software different mpcs have different outcome by automatic things that are in their output process but newer mpcs have just the color and you could just do the automatic things by your "OWN" taste...BUT to be honest you should have so much control in your effecting process. it's not something that be there every time. the color is there every time

You can if you use the AU/VST version which includes a built in editor. You can edit this inside MPC Software or within your DAW. You can then export the preset back to standalone.

Right now the only options you have are the MPC Key 61 and MPCX SE. Both have 4gb of ram...

Use the flatten pad feature within the program which bakes the FX into a new sample. You can also bounce tracks with FX to Audio.
