I’m form the Uk If you are full time employed from any business affected by this virus you get 80% of your wage upto £25000 a year total payment so just over 2k a month (not bad wage for us) Self employed get about the same but it’s harder to get. This only applies if you are forced to close so all hospitality and tourism and none essential workers. Or people advised by the doctor to isolate. Not trying to piss on a wound but what help are you guys getting I am really interested

Yep, I haven't taken a paycheck in a month, I am doing everything I can to keep my employees employed, but I have about 10 days then I have to lay the majority of them off if the company is to be around when this is over. My main concern right now is to keep some money coming in for the employees, but, I see the companies cash balance going down every day, it's scary.

His monthly payments are lower since he’s on the hook for principal and interest rates will stay low until we’re completely out of this mess. He’ll be able to refi when the country is open and his properties are cash flowing again. He has 35%+ down payments and all of his properties are value add.

It’s the first mortgages are due today! Well I own my business I won’t be able to pay myself tell I pay my employees as well also have to close down the business! I know that one day we will be back on our feet!!!
Yep, I haven't taken a paycheck in a month, I am doing everything I can to keep my employees employed, but I have about 10 days then I have to lay the majority of them off if the company is to be around when this is over. My main concern right now is to keep some money coming in for the employees, but, I see the companies cash balance going down every day, it's scary.

There is a vast number of people like myself watching their life's work disappear, for many of us, well we are far better off than most, but emotionally, it's ripping me apart.

I don’t wish to kick you whilst your down. I’m no keyboard worrier I’m asking out of interest and concern. Here we are been subsided for staff wages. They are paying 80% of wages upto 25k a year so just over 2k a month and that’s about enough to survive your not going to live but you will pay the bills and survive. This applies to employed and self employed (self employed harder to fit the requirements) if your forced to close or come under none essential work then it applies so if your a drive way fitter you get it farmers don’t as they have to work to provide food. Unless you have to self isolate then you get it regardless.
I was thinking the same thing, with Brady coming to Tampa, you could sell your place if things really dont work out. Youve got to have one of the nicest houses in all of tampa bay area, I’m sure it’d peak his interest.

Irv Irv he’s in a better position than other borrowers as long as he doesn’t need to renew anything during the crisis. His monthly payments are lower since he’s on the hook for principal and interest rates will stay low until we’re completely out of this mess. He’ll be able to refi when the country is open and his properties are cash flowing again. He has 35%+ down payments and all of his properties are value add.
@@15nate that's if he can continue to make his monthly payments I'm sure hes got some money saved up, and yeah hes probably better off then other borrowers but hes not better off than the person that kept it a little bit smaller and is not leveraged at all 🤷♂️

With leverage he’s allowed himself to exponentially increase cash on cash returns, buy bigger properties, and increase deprecation write-offs each year. Pretty sure Ben takes advantage of cost segregation and bonus depreciation on his properties too. The hotel industry will pick up. Once the lockdown is over everyone will want to travel and go on vacation again.
