    cold beat, will have to try this technique!
    New to production and Sp404 is kinda frustrating but I'm learning alot. When I track in Logic or sample my minilogue synth I will have to try this. Thank you

    ok so basically first you try to find the chords of the sample by ear. then add the bassline following the chords and than maybe add some piano or other instruments. great video! you got an italian subscriber. keep it up

    @dachopup8495 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I started out as a sample based producer which is really cool taking a idea that was already established then flipping it into your own but as of lately I've been building track from the ground up to prove to myself I can do it and with the maschine MK3 being idk how to play piano unfortunately the fact I can build chords out piece by piece until I have a full melody is a gamechanger for me personally ✊🏾

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah man, as long as it's dope, it doesn't matter how you built the chord progression, it's all about the vibe.

    To find the key to a sample. Simply add guitar rig as an effect on your sample track. Enable the tuning fork inside guitar rig, and just push a pad..

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure, but often that may not work as well for polyphonic samples, so learning to do it by ear can be beneficial.

      @ivanchaparro8973 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Low Heat Beats yes I saw the breakdown but didn’t really explain how you came to the conclusion it was D minor, just shows what keys it comprises of. I think lots of sample based beat makers struggle with identifying the key, one method I’ve used is to go through some of the loops in maschine and see what works since the loops are usually labeled by key.

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ivanchaparro8973 Right, I see what you mean, I'll try to go into more detail in terms of music in another video. Still, if you can identify which notes sound good with the sample, you can use them without knowing which key it is.

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Благодаря ти! Най-добрата програма е тази, с която си свикнал и ти е удобно да работиш. Аз от 12 години ползвам само Ableton Live, така че трудно бих могъл да препоръчам друго, но всеки има своите предпочитания.

      А можеш ли да ми кажеш на колко си настроил buffer size на машината и до каква степен това се отразява на качеството на звука?

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ivanganev630 Няма отношение към качеството на звука, а към закъснението (latency), когато свириш с падовете. По-голям буфер не товари толкова компютъра, но увеличава закъснението. Моят е на 64, но като сложа повече инструменти го вдигам на 128, за да избегна насичане на звука. С по-слаб компютър може да се наложи и повече да го вдигнеш.
